It's Tipperary's year says super fan... in Kildare
And Beatrice Landers has declared her allegiance with some unusual decorations outside her Kildare home.
Ms Landers, originally from the Premier County, has lived in Maynooth, Co. Kildare for the last 42 years with her Limerick-supporting husband.
Each year, the couple adorn their home with county bunting and flags as well as a home-made mannequin in a helmet and jersey, holding a hurl. A Tipperary super fan is backing her team to 'top Cork' in this Sunday's Senior Hurling All-Ireland championship.
This year, Ms Landers is calling it for her home county: 'It's going to be Tipperary's glory year.'
'My husband is from Limerick so we've had to endure the Limerick colours for the last few years. It's amazing to have the Blue and Gold up,' she told the Irish Mail on Sunday.
'It's time Tipperary came out of the hole and took over,' she added, explaining that she made the mannequin 'years ago' from old sheets and blankets.
'It's dressed in a painting suit and I've just used a helmet and, for hair, a mop on his head – which is a balloon.'
Despite her firm, lifelong Tipp allegiance, Ms Landers seems to have a soft spot for the Lilywhites as well, saying the people of Kildare are 'delighted' to be the current home of the Joe McDonagh Cup in hurling and Tailteann Cup in football.
'The people of Kildare, the people in Maynooth are so delighted. It's a great win, great for football in Kildare and a sign of future things to come.'

Boxing legend Chris Eubank touches down in Mayo at Knock Airport
The airport posted a picture of the former WBO middleweight and super-middleweight title winner on their social media pages. "You never know who you'll bump into at Ireland West Airport. Delighted to have Chris Eubank arrive at the airport earlier today,' it said. Known for his flamboyant persona and distinctive style, Mr Eubank recorded 45 wins (23 by knockout), five losses, and two draws from 52 fights in his professional boxing career. He has remained a celebrated figure in British boxing since retiring in 1998. He is the father of five children, including Chris Eubank Junior, who is also a professional boxer. Mr Eubank is not the first high-profile name to grace the landing strip at Ireland West Airport Knock. A few days previously, the airport welcomed comedian Jason Manford, who flew in for the start of his Irish tour. In the past decade, the airport has hosted former US President Joe Biden and the late Pope Francis. In 2015, the airport welcomed Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, whose mother, Peggy, hails from nearby Charlestown. Hopes are high in Charlestown that the reunited Gallagher brothers will visit their mother's hometown when Oasis travel to Ireland for their sold-out Croke Park shows in August.

Cork camogie manager hits out at 'keyboard warriors' criticism of Rebels' senior hurlers
Ger Manley has hit out at the 'keyboard warriors' who targeted the Cork senior hurlers and their management team in the wake of their All-Ireland final defeat to Tipperary. Speaking at Wednesday's night's media event for the Cork senior camogie team, the manager said it was over the top. 'The criticism is totally unfair,' he said. 'We're out five nights a week, the lads must be out seven. The pressure they're put under, but it is just the way life is now. 'Anything they do, they're told you should have done this or you should have done that. 'I was very disappointed for Pat (Ryan). We'd be in the Páirc on a Tuesday night and I know the work they put in. The criticism goes over the top. "You do take notice if it is coming to the stage where it affects your family and Pat had a tough year himself. It is tough on all of them being pinpointed, it is not a nice part of sport. 'It could be us next week so we just have to safeguard against it. There was no complacency with the Cork hurlers, I just thought Tipp got on a flow and it is very hard to stop a train when it keeps coming that fast. 'I think the media were quite fair to Cork. But that's social media. We'd be telling the girls to stay off of it, they don't be on it that much anyway. "As management we do things in the best faith and a lot of it is done on instinct. 'You saw Jack O'Connor and the stuff being written about him in Kerry and here he is the most successful Kerry manager bar Mick O'Dwyer.' Manley hopes to have a full hand to choose from for the final against Galway after attacker Clodagh Finn survived an injury scare. 'She missed the semi-final but she should be back for the final,' he said. 'She got a scan on her knee and while we feared the worst, she should be back training Tuesday of next week. 'We'd already lost Lucy Kelly, Izzy O'Regan and Gráinne Cahalane - those three girls were major parts of our setup and were three backs. 'There were a couple of the girls under the weather before the semi-final with flu symptoms, a bit of sickness in the camp, but they should be alright again.' Meanwhile, the referees for the finals on Sunday week have been announced with Justin Heffernan of Wexford the man in the middle for the senior final between Cork and Galway. Heffernan officiated at the Galway/Tipperary semi-final last Saturday. Donnacha O'Callaghan (Limerick) takes charge of the intermediate final between Kerry and Offaly, while Galway's Enda Loughnane will oversee the Premier junior final involving Armagh and Laois.
