Builth Wells streets to close overnight during Royal Welsh

Builth Wells' busiest streets will be closed overnight to all vehicles during Royal Welsh Show week.
Broad Street and High Street will be shut to traffic from 8pm and 5am.
Powys County Council said all vehicles in the two streets need to be moved by 8pm or they will be stuck until 5am.
"Please keep everyone safe and avoid parking here during these times," a council spokesperson said.
"We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
"Please share to help spread the word."
The Royal Welsh Show exploded into action as competitions and events kicked off on the opening day on Monday (July 21) including high-profile visits from Princess Anne and Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch.
Over at a Builth Wells pub, a star-studded list of celebrities will be appearing during the show week.
Love Island runner-up Ciaran Davies and Geordie Shore's Scotty T, will be at The White Horse while Ultrabeat, who had a smash hit in 2003 with its cover of 'Pretty Green Eyes', are also performing, alongside a host of DJs.
The Royal Welsh Show runs from Monday, July 21, to Thursday, July 24.

Love Island star Yasmin Pettet has announced the death of a family member just days after leaving the villa - and said she knew something was wrong while she was on the show Love Island finalist Yasmin Pettet has opened up on her heartbreak shortly after leaving the villa, having experienced a "bad gut feeling" whilst filming on the programme. She later found out about the passing of one cherished family member. ‌ Yasmin, 24, reached the final of the recent series of the ITV reality dating programme on Monday, August 4, and secured third place alongside boyfriend Jamie Rhodes. The fan favourite was hit by a shock hours after she returned home. ‌ Just days after exiting the villa and returning back on UK soil, Yasmin has disclosed that she received devastating news about the tragic death of her cat, Miaow Miaow, who had been mentioned often as she proudly gushed of her pet on the show. ‌ She was at one point moved to tears when Jamie returned from a boys' day out with a special gift to remind her of her beloved cat, who she compared to being like her child. Yasmin had heartbreakingly told Jamie how excited she was for them to meet. On Wednesday, the reality star took to Instagram as she disclosed: "As I've spoken about her on the show I'm sure a lot of you will know I have a cat called miaow miaow who's been by my side for 11 years now. ‌ "When I was filming Love Island I had a bad gut feeling something was off and when my mum and sister came into the villa I asked them and still felt like something was off." She continued: "I'm trying to be as active as I can on socials, but am taking time for myself to process this heartbreak., RIP to my beautiful baby girl, you were so loved and will always be in my soul." ‌ It comes following her message to fans since leaving the show, as she reflected on her whirlwind of emotions. Yasmin expressed her appreciation for Jamie and many of her fellow co-stars. She penned: "My love island journey has been crazy to say the least but I really wouldn't have been able to do it without my Jamie, Toni and Shakira. I feel so grateful and blessed and can't wait to see what the future holds." TOWIE star Sophie Kasaei has revealed she's taking a "step back from the chaos" after filming last night's finale scenes. The Geordie Shore favourite joined the show alongside her Towie star boyfriend Jordan Brook in early 2023. 4 4 4 Sophie, 35, sparked concerns she was leaving after she told fans she would be starting a "new chapter" as she heads to Athens for fertility treatment. The Newscastle beauty showed off her stunning look for the Towie final, wearing a light blue and white sequin cut-out dress. She wrote: "Over and out Towie! "What a heavy start of the year it's been, finished Geordie filming in May, went straight into Towie for three months. "Now only a few green screens left to film but now it's time to step back from the chaos and get healthy and prepared to head to get our treatments in Athens and keep making them steps closer to having a beautiful family one day." "Sophie decided to walk away as she felt she was worth more than they were offering - she has been on the show for a long time and brings a lot to the table. "There was a lot of back and forth, and in the end, negotiations stalled. "Sophie was gutted as she was really keen to come back, but she doesn't want to undersell herself.' TOWIE RETURN The ITV2 reality show will be kicking off the new series with a cast getaway to Portugal to celebrate the show's 15th anniversary. And fans won't have to wait much longer as the series returns to our screens on Sunday 17 August on ITV2 and ITVX. Viewers will be treated to a double dose of drama each week, with episodes airing at 9pm on both Sundays and Mondays. There series is jam-packed with jaw-dropping moments and fiery showdowns between our Towie favourites.
