Tetairoa McMillan 2025 Fantasy Preview
2024: McMillan entered the 2024 college football season looking to set records after going for 1,402 yards and 10 scores in 2023. He came up short in his junior season with 1,319 yards and eight scores, but he did so in one fewer game while upping his yards per route run to 2.9. McMillan feasted on intermediate and deep routes during his two best seasons at Arizona and has the size to match that style in the pros with a 6'4/219 frame.
What's changed: T-Mac was compared to Drake London by draft analysts far and wide throughout the process. Going eighth overall—the same pick as London—did nothing to quell the lofty comparisons. McMillan joins a Carolina team with plenty of role-players at receiver but no No. 1. His job is to be the guy Bryce Young can always count on to be open.
2025 Outlook: McMillan is going to be a starter out of the gates and should be leading the team in targets at some point as a rookie. The combination of talent and draft capital all but guarantees him a sizable role. The bigger concern is his quarterback play. Bryce Young was benched after two starts last year but eventually returned to the lineup and looked like a changed man, ranking seventh in Pro Football Focus's passing grade from Week 8 onward. If McMillan gets that version of Young under center, he will immediately produce WR2 fantasy numbers, with WR1 potential to close the year.

Ahead of the Denver Broncos' preseason showdown with the Arizona Cardinals, we asked Jess Root of Cards Wire five questions about Arizona and Saturday's game. Check out our questions and Root's answers below. 1. Should we expect Cardinals starters to play much on Saturday? I'm not sure. He is a mauler as a blocker and has upside as a pass catcher. Also watch second-year receiver Xavier Weaver, who, of course, played at Colorado. He scored a touchdown, had a couple of catches and drew a pass interference last week. He made the team last year and can again. On defense, watch safety Dadrion Taylor-Demerson. He will look a lot like Budda Baker in his play style. 3. Arizona got Baron Browning from the Broncos for a 6th-round pick last fall. How has he looked and what kind of role will he have this season? He is likely the No. 3 edge guy in the rotation behind Josh Sweat and Zaven Collins. He will play a lot. 4. If you were starting the Cardinals from scratch and had to choose between Kyler Murray and Bo Nix, who would you pick? I'm still a big Kyler fan and want to see if Nix has any higher ceiling than what he has shown already. I think Murray's ceiling is as high as the best in the league so I always take him. 5. The chances of the Broncos and Cards meeting in the Super Bowl this season are … ? Not impossible! And that is saying something. The Cardinals have a shot at being good. So do the Broncos. So while unlikely, the fact that I don't just laugh means something. It's definitely not an impossibility. Saturday's game will be nationally televised on NFL Network and available on these channels. Rotoworld Staff, Tyler Shough 2025 Fantasy Preview 2024: Playing for Louisville to wrap up a storied seven-year college career that lasted so long that (we are not making this up) he backed up Justin Herbert at Oregon, Shough started more than 10 games for the first time in his career. He threw for 3,195 yards and 23 touchdowns in his age-25 season. In a bad quarterback draft class, many scouts decided that Shough was mentally mature (he holds two degrees from Oregon and a masters from Texas Tech and we are not making that up either) and one of the better bets in the draft class. This is what the kids would colloquially call 'cope.' The Saints fell for it and drafted Shough in the second round. What's changed: Now in an offseason quarterback battle with Spencer Rattler that he's likely the favorite to win due to the fact that the new coaching staff drafted him, Shough will turn 26 and try to make the most of what looks to be a screens-and-bombs offense in New Orleans. The supporting cast isn't dire, but it has taken on attrition between Chris Olave's concussions and Alvin Kamara's age. It wouldn't be surprising if Shough had a passable rookie season. It would be surprising if he was a star of any sort. Outlook: Shough is being drafted behind some No. 2 quarterbacks in best ball. We don't think there's zero plausible fantasy upside here, but whatever does happen in New Orleans this year will probably not amount to more than a superflex QB2. And that is assuming that Shough wins the job, something that isn't exactly written in stone at this point. We snark hard about his age and his injury history, but it's not like he fell out of the first round because he was raw – Shough is a high-floor stab at competency. Rotoworld Staff, Anthony Richardson 2025 Fantasy Preview 2024: Richardson started the year with the Colts throwing two long touchdowns and running for another against the Texans in Week 1, a narrow loss. Then, you know, the normal quarterback growing pains. Richardson posted the worst qualifying completion percentage in a decade, the worst since Tim Tebow in 2011. He quit on a play in Houston because he was tired, leading to many Shouting Man Points At Screen clips. He continued to invent new ways to hurt himself, culminating in the second straight early OTA/minicamp period where he was sidelined with shoulder soreness in the shoulder where he had an AC joint surgery in 2023. The Colts signed Daniel Jones on purpose. You know, the usual things that young quarterbacks deal with. What's changed: It's hard to believe that Richardson will beat out Jones for the quarterback job based on the head start Jones had in the early offseason. Richardson worked out with quarterback guru Tom Gormely, who helped improve Josh Allen's accuracy. In theory, you know, you probably shouldn't bet on Jones playing 17 games. But we're not going to tell you that it's roses and sunshine right now for Richardson. 2025 Outlook: There's a high fantasy football ceiling on Richardson because he runs and he's a ridiculous athlete. But it's hard to believe that ceiling will come to fruition from the vantage point we see before training camp starts. Richardson will likely be a viable bye week streamer at some point this season because of his legs, but nobody needs to spend a pick in the first 12 rounds on him right now.
