Scots rocker Kyle Falconer didn't need a make-up artist for his appearance at TRNSMT yesterday, having brought his three eldest children along.
It was left to his eight-year-old daughter Wylde to style him, including applying pale blue eye shadow for his King Tut's stage set.

The Dundee -born rocker, 38, who now lives in Spain, said: 'I've got my kids – Wylde, Winnie and Jet – here and my youngest is in Spain with the mother in law.

'They are obsessed with Gracie Abrams so I took them on the plane with me to see her.
'They are really excited. Kids are not meant to be at TRNSMT. There is a great buzz. My kids like to see a lot. They go to a lot of festivals and think TRNSMT is cool.'
Kyle, who found fame with Dundonian rockers The View, added: 'I got my daughter this morning to dress me up onstage and do my eye make up.
'The kids were right at the front for my set.
'This is the sixth time I've played her. The first time I played here was on the main stage. I have played the main stage with The View before.
'Today, I'm quite chuffed with the band I've got. It felt good onstage. I have a new album coming out. I felt in control.

In May, 2023, the singer brawled with his bandmate Kieren Webster, throwing punches during The View's concert at the Deaf Institute in Manchester.
But Kyle insists the pair are on good terms and The View are simply having time out.
Speaking to The Record backstage at TRNSMT, he said: 'We're just taking a break. There's loads of other stuff going on. They've got kids and I've got kids. I have my own music because I've got a studio so that's how it works.

'The last time Kieren and I wrote together was when we were kids. But the relationship is all good. We're completely fine and there is nothing lingering there.'
He added: 'I'm going to have a couple of beers and watch Gracie Abrams. I'm just getting the kids geared up for it. It's going to be absolutely buzzing. It's the only record I've heard for the last three months.
"They've been playing her for years and she has been getting bigger. They're obsessed with this music. All my kids have vinyl players so I get them all records and I've found them all playing Gracie Abrams. They refused to share so I had to get them all a Gracie Abrams record each.'

Lewis Capaldi spotted in Celtic top as he arrives for The Tonight Show appearance in New York

The Scots singing sensation summed up his Glastonbury performance to host Jimmy Fallon in three words. Lewis Capaldi was spotted wearing a Celtic top while arriving for his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in New York - where he summed up his Glastonbury performance in three very revealing words. ‌ The Scots singing sensation is Stateside to promote his new single 'Survive' which raced to the top of the charts after a two year hiatus from the music scene. The song garnered over four million streams in its debut week. ‌ The Glaswegian stepped back from the limelight after a panic attack triggered by his Tourettes Syndrome at Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage in 2023 forced him to prioritise his wellbeing. ‌ But arriving to NBC Studios in Midtown Manhattan on Monday, July 14, Capaldi looked the pictured of health as he donned his beloved side's jersey paired with black Nike shorts and Adidas trainers. The hitmaker looked relaxed as he made his way into the building lobby before going on to perform his latest tune to millions of US viewers. Despite joking the single was "currently underperforming in America," the star opened up about happy times - his secret return to Glastonbury. Firstly reflecting on his meltdown on stage in 2023, Lewis said: "The first time did not go well. I had what the children would refer to as a bit of a menty B. A bit of a mental breakdown on stage. Nothing too serious. "I have Tourettes so I used to tic quite a lot and I still do but I used to do this thing with my shoulder and it became really uncontrollable and I had a panic attack on stage at Glastonbury and I couldn't finish the song. "It happened a couple of times at shows and stuff but I think because this one was so publicised and had so many eyes on it, it really made me think I need to go and get this sorted, I can't keep doing this to myself." ‌ However, his return to the Pyramid Stage on June 27 saw Capaldi back with a bang. Speaking about how he felt in the run up to it, Lewis said: "It was terrifying. In the lead up to it I was like this is horrific, I've made a terrible decision and then we did it and it was really beautiful and lovely. "It went exactly as I hoped and it was probably the best day of my life - until I assume when I have a child I'll be like maybe, Glastonbury was still better." ‌ Last week, Lewis announced a UK tour last week which sold out in just minutes. The Someone You Loved chanter will play four dates in Scotland this coming September, with two nights at Aberdeen's P&J Live on September 10 and 11, and two nights at Glasgow's OVO Hydro on September 13 and 14. ‌ Lewis told the audience on The Tonight show: "You can try and get tickets but they're sold out baby so fat chance." Americans couldn't get enough of the talent's return to the small screen on the other side of the Atlantic. ‌ Taking to the YouTube comments, one music fan wrote: "Such a beautiful soul…he gives us all he has and never disappoints! I wish Jimmy had asked him where else he can be seen on TV in USA! I just want him to stay healthy and not overworked! I love his charming accent!!!!" Another scribed: "Lewis is an amazing person. I hoped he is very loved in his personal life." A third penned: "Authentically Scottish, no BS. Love him," while a fourth added: "I appreciate Jimmy Fallon having Lewis Capaldi on his show. It's great to hear how Lewis has been doing. Fantastic to hear he had a triumphant return at Glastonbury." Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Kneecap announce new tour dates for group's ‘biggest run of shows ever'

The move comes after Liam Og O hAnnaidh, who performs under the stage name Mo Chara, was charged in May with a terrorism offence relating to displaying a flag in support of Hezbollah at the O2 Forum in Kentish Town, north London, during a gig in November 2024. The group said their actions, including holding the Hezbollah flag, had been taken out of context. A post shared by KNEECAP (@kneecap32) Announcing the news on Tuesday, the group – which is made up of O hAnnaidh, Naoise O Caireallain and JJ O Dochartaigh – shared a post on Instagram with the caption that read: 'Here we go. 'We're back in November across Scotland, England and Wales to play our biggest run of shows ever. 'All of ye can get a pre-sale link for tomorrow at 10am ahead of the masses by signing up to our mailer or WhatsApp channel. 'The Prime Minster himself cant stop us…he could stop sending bombs to Israel but that's another story…' The group are known for speaking out against the war in Gaza, and recently performed to a sea of Palestinian flags during their set at Glastonbury Festival in June. They claim the controversies surrounding the group are part of a smear campaign against them because of their vocal support for Palestine and criticism of Israel's actions in Gaza, which they say is a genocide. The group recently performed at Glasgow's O2 Academy, in a gig which sold out in 80 seconds. They were due to perform at TRNSMT festival in Glasgow, but their set was axed after concerns raised by police. Their tour will start in Bournemouth on November 14 before moving on to Liverpool, Newcastle and Glasgow. Kneecap will also perform in London at the previously announced show at OVO Arena Wembley on September 18.
