It makes Dejon the second Islander this series to have been quizzed by cops, after The Sun yesterday revealed Kyle Ashman was held over a machete attack.
Both were released with no further action.
ITV was aware of the incident with Dejon when he secured his place on the dating show, a spokesman confirmed.
He spoke to cops alongside Kettering FC footballer Harlain Mbayo, who was ordered to carry out a community resolution, which can involve an apology or compensation.
The dispute was sparked over payment for food and an Uber taxi ride.
Personal trainer Dejon last night told The Sun: 'I was never arrested.
'I voluntarily spoke to the police to clarify the truth about what happened in this incident, with no further action taken.
"To stress, my intentions here were entirely honourable and it is very upsetting to read claims that suggest otherwise.'
The Met Police said: 'On March 16 at 04:05hrs officers responded to a report of a robbery in which a phone was taken.
'An investigation was launched and two men voluntarily took part in interviews. The victim's phone was recovered and has been returned.
Love Island's Kyle Ashman reveals he wants show return as Casa Amor hunk after being axed over machete attack on dad
'No further action was taken against the 26-year-old man.'
ITV added: 'We speak to our Islanders in advance of the show in addition to rigorous background screening, including DBS checks.'

JoJo Siwa reveals the exact moment her bond with boyfriend Chris Hughes blossomed from friendship to romance as she shares their plans to get matching tattoos

JoJo Siwa has revealed the moment her bond with boyfriend Chris Hughes blossomed from friendship to romance. The dancer, 22, and Love Island star, 32, finally confirmed that they were dating earlier this week following weeks of frenzied speculation, with the couple travelling to the Cotswolds on Tuesday to meet his family. JoJo and Chris had originally formed a close friendship while meeting in the Celebrity Big Brother house in April, but the Dance Moms star has now revealed her feelings for him changed when she returned home to the US. Speaking on Gyles Brandreth's Rosebud podcast, JoJo shared insight into the beginning of her bond with Chris, gushing that she was 'lucky' he felt the same way about her. JoJo also shared her plans to get a matching tattoo with Chris, as well as inks paying tribute to her time in the CBB house. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Asked what first attracted her to Chris, JoJo said: 'When he first walked in, he was the only person that I knew what they looked like before coming into the show. I was ''Oh that's the Chris guy''. 'Initially the first thing that I took in about him was he was a good hugger. I liked his hug. That felt like a nice embrace. And he smelt good – 'he seems cool'. 'We just kind of bonded right away and it started very much so as friends. 'I wasn't looking to fall for him. He wasn't looking to fall for me. We just were having so much fun together. Whenever one of us was down it was the other one of us that helped. 'Everybody got to see when he was there for me at the beginning. There was a day – it was Easter – and he was having a really, really rough day. 'And he was in the diary room for a really long time and I was freaking out, because I was like 'Something's wrong'. 'Everyone was like 'calm down', and I was like 'No, something's wrong'. 'And he came out of the diary room and he was like 'I had a stomach ache'. And I looked at him and I was like 'you're not good'. And I just gave him a hug. 'We had a talk and he really opened up and he wasn't ok, he really wasn't ok. I was able to be there for him. We had more fun than I've ever had in my life in that house.' Reflecting on when she left the CBB house, JoJo added: 'Leaving the house, you're in this bubble of Big Brother, so leaving the house I wasn't sure what was going to happen. 'But I had all these realisations of my life, things that I wasn't happy (about), that I was being ok with that I should never have been ok with. ''I'm not happy, so I need to handle things'', and I did very quickly once I got out of the house. 'Then over a little bit of time I realised that I started to feel something for Christopher that I never intended, but I couldn't not feel. 'And I'm a very, very lucky girl because he was feeling the same thing.' 'We were watching Who Wants to be a Millionaire? And the answer to the winning question was serendipity and somebody replied 'and do you know what serendipity is, it's you and JoJo'. 'And we googled it and both of us freaked out because that was the million dollar question. 'The word serendipity is Christopher and I's favourite word now. If you read the definition of it, it's essentially finding love when you're least looking for it. It's beautiful. I don't know how the universe did align for Chris to come into my life.' Sharing that she hopes her relationship with Chris will 'last a lifetime,' JoJo then shared her plans to get a matching tattoo with him, with a nod to the ring that he gave her in the CBB house, which she wears on a necklace. She told Gyles: 'The Chris tattoo, I said in Big Brother that I would get this bamboo stick. And I said that I would get a little bamboo stick tattoo, and I want to get two other tattoos from the Big Brother house of memories that I have from in there. 'I would get that because as much as that relates to Chris, I can deem it not bad luck by placing more on Big Brother.' Despite jetting to Mexico to surprise her for her 22nd birthday last month, proceeding to mark the milestone with the singer and her family in Orlando, and later sharing a steamy bedroom selfie, JoJo played coy about their relationship status until earlier this week. A source also previously told that Chris also seems to have received the seal of approval from JoJo's parents, Jessalynn and Tom, who are not believed to have any qualms with the ten-year age gap. 'Her parents are all in for JoJo's happiness and see Chris as someone very special and are eager to see where it all goes,' the insider said. 'They fully support their daughter's decision. JoJo has grown up before our eyes, and will jump into things with both feet, so her friends aren't surprised that she is acting this way with Chris. 'No one is talking about the age gap or if they are rushing into things. Everyone just wants to see JoJo happy.' JoJo, who reunited with Chris in the UK last week, is so happy she may mention her new man in new music. The insider added: 'She has been thinking of writing songs about her relationship with Chris.' In a recent interview with Sunday Brunch, JoJo fought back tears as she shared how her parents 'think the absolute world of Chris.' She said: 'Him and my Dad are like best friends, Chris was actually telling me this yesterday, they went to the spa together yesterday. 'They're literally best friends, Mom Siwa she absolutely adores him. I love watching her watch us, because I've never seen my mom so happy, and it's... it's... I could cry. 'Honestly, it makes me happy to have everybody act as... it feels like we're a family, it feels like he's been in my family for how ever many years it feels like forever. 'He gets along as well as I do. I think he loves me because of my parents!' On Monday, JoJo finally confirmed that she and Chris were in a relationship, following weeks of speculation. While JoJo has been grilled many times on her relationship status, she had been noticeably coy, simply branding Chris her 'favourite person in the world.' But in an interview with Capital Radio, JoJo confirmed that she and Chris have made their relationship official, and she's started calling him her boyfriend. Speaking in a video for the channel's new series Capital Buzz, the dancer admitted that she's had to explain her viral 'Dream guest on my podcast' moment to Chris. She then added: 'I'm sure it's no secret to people, I am in a lovely relationship with a sweet boy named Christopher Hughes.' In an earlier interview with The Guardian, JoJo gushed about her blossoming romance with Chris. She said: 'It's not platonic any more, and it's been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I'm absolutely head over heels for him and he's the same way.' The Dance Moms star also hit back at speculation that their relationship is a 'PR stunt,' saying: 'Clearly, you've never been around us. I won't ever speak for him, but for me personally, the happiness in my life just radiates off of me right now. 'Literally yesterday, I was massaging my cheeks; I've never [before] been in pain from smiling so much.' On Sunday, Chris sent fans into a frenzy when he shared a steamy bedroom snap with JoJo on Snapchat. The Dance Moms star had been coy when asked about the exact moment she developed feelings for Chris. Speaking during a Q&A with fans at Pineapple Dance Studios on Saturday, she said: 'Loads of different times, loads of different times on different levels. I'm very very happy where we are currently, obviously, I mean I literally smile every single second of every single day now. 'One of personal biggest frustrations in my life now is that I actually don't know, I genuinely don't know, and I've spoken to him about it, I've spoken to my mom about it, I don't know the moment that it,' before snapping her fingers. She added: 'It was never like a light switch happened, it was just... you know what I mean? And so I genuinely don't know! It's serendipity!' Last week, JoJo took to Instagram to reflect on her London shows, admitting she has never felt so 'content and happy,' and described her first few days in the UK as 'the perfect time with perfect people in a perfect place'. Chris had attended JoJo's first show in London the previous night, but the star admitted he couldn't attend Tuesday's performance. Instead, she brought along the orange beanie he'd given her while in the house, after she caught Chris singing one of her hits while she was still asleep. She told the audience: 'This morning I woke up and all I heard was [sings Nobody Can Change me] he was singing, so I figured today I'd bring a little bit of him while I sing this next song.'As the show came to a close, JoJo wept at the crowd's reception, telling her fans that after once feeling she was 'one of the most hated people in the world,' she felt 'so special and so loved'.

Victoria Beckham suffers another blow as fresh feud emerges amid Brooklyn drama

Fashion designer Victoria Beckham's world has been rocked by her ongoing family drama with eldest son Brooklyn Beckham as the Spice Girls try to put a reunion plan together Victoria Beckham is said to have been wrapped up in even more drama as she comes to terms with her eldest son Brooklyn Beckham distancing himself from their famous family. The fashion designer, 51, has seen her beloved family hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons. She has been left hurt by the ongoing feud with her son and his wife Nicola Peltz, that all came to blows when the young couple skipped David Beckham's 50th birthday celebrations. Since then, there has been a stark divide in the Beckham clan amid fears there's "no way back" for them. ‌ Amidst the drama, it seems Victoria has another issue at hand as her Spice Girls bandmates plan to reunite. The iconic girl group will mark their 30th anniversary next year, with bosses keen to get the band back together. ‌ It seems Mel C, Mel B and Emma Bunton are all on board, while Geri and Victoria have taken a little longer to persuade. Reports now claim that Geri is keen for an ABBA-style avatar of the band that will create a virtual show for fans. Victoria is said to have been left out of discussions and would not be part of the virtual band. A source told the Daily Mail:"There will be a Spice Girls reunion and all the details are now being debated by everyone apart from Victoria." They claimed Geri "isn't interested in coming back and doing a tour" but the virtual idea has "tempted her". Their former manager, Simon Fuller, is reportedly the brains behind the new plan. Although Victoria opted out of their 2019 tour, other insiders have said she's open to the new approach as long as all the other members are on board. Another insider shared to The Sun.: 'Simon is eager to pull off one final spectacle with the Spice Girls, and this is his latest brainchild. He was the mastermind behind ABBA's groundbreaking digital shows and believes this strategy would suit the Spice Girls perfectly. ‌ "Touring again seems doubtful - Victoria, for instance, isn't likely to return as a full-time member - so this could be their best chance to reunite.' Victoria herself previously voiced support for a virtual Spice Girls residency. When asked on American television in 2022 about the idea, she responded: 'That is a great idea.' However, Victoria received a huge boost this week as husband David is finally getting a knighthood in the King's Birthday Honours list next week after year after years of waiting. ‌ In her home life, the feud continues to rumble on despite son Romeo Beckham splitting from his girlfriend Kim Turnbull. Insiders have said it would take a 'small miracle at present' for peace to break out between Brooklyn and his parents David and Victoria. It comes as his wife Nicola 's friends previously blamed Kim for them not going to David's 50th. Pals alleged it was because Brooklyn had a brief romantic liaison with her, which was denied by Beckham's friends. 'There are no signs of reconciliation, sadly. There is still a lot of hurt to process,' a source told us. Sources close to Nicola have previously insisted that as 'an outsider coming into the Beckham family, she has helped Brooklyn see the emotional abuse and toxic behaviour within'. The claims cut deep as a source said: 'It was a low, low can you say such things about your own family. It will be interesting to see if Brooklyn and Nicola make any attempt to heal things now Kim is out of the picture.' The Mirror has contacted the Spice Girls and Victoria's representatives for comment.

EXCLUSIVE Georgia Harrison to be awarded an MBE after campaigning on tackling violence against women following ex Stephen Bear's imprisonment

Georgia Harrison will be awarded an MBE for her campaigning efforts on tackling violence against women and girls. MailOnline can reveal the former Love Island star, 30, discovered she had made the King's Birthday Honours list a few weeks ago and is set to officially receive the accolade during the royal's annual celebrations later this month. The reality favourite turned documentary maker, who's currently expecting her first baby, is being recognised after dedicating her career to raising awareness of 'revenge porn' and issues surrounding consent, with the overall aim of improving online safety. In 2020, Celebrity Big Brother 's Stephen Bear shared explicit footage of Georgia on his OnlyFans profile without her consent and after successfully taking him to court, the Love Island: All Stars contestant was granted record damages of £207,900, the highest ever sum awarded in an image abuse case. Stephen, 35, famed for his appearances on TV show Ex on the Beach, was found guilty of voyeurism and disclosing private, sexual photographs and films, and was handed a 22-month prison sentence in 2022. After serving just half of his prison time, Stephen was released in January, but Georgia continues to campaign for women and girls following the painful 'violation' of her privacy. The former Love Island star discovered she had made the King's Birthday Honours list a few weeks ago and is set to officially receive the accolade during the royal's annual celebrations A source told MailOnline: 'Georgia is incredibly proud to receive such an honour. 'She has been campaigning and working hard for many years now, to be recognised for her efforts means everything to her. 'Georgia will continue to raise awareness, hopefully this will be the beginning of more improvements for women and girls and their fight for online safety.' The TV star has been at the centre of two ITV documentaries, Revenge Porn, and Porn, Power, Profit, which explored both her own personal experience and how predators make money from the industry. Georgia has spoken out about how she felt 'ashamed', 'violated', and 'used' after the recording of her having sex with Stephen went viral including on an endless list of porn websites. Speaking in Revenge Porn, Essex-born Georgia said: 'Two years ago, my life changed forever when CCTV footage of me having sex with Stephen Bear went viral. He filmed and shared it without my consent then tried to deny it was me… 'I think I expected some form of empathy, remorse, maybe that he would realise what he had done… what a slap in the face that on top of everything, he thought he could lie his way publicly through this.' On her decision to waive her right to anonymity, Georgia said ahead of speaking in court: 'Hopefully one day, girls can look at me and think 'She went in there and done it, she was strong. We can do it.' In 2023, Georgia attended a meeting at No 10 among other celebrities to discuss online abuse with Technology Secretary Michelle Donelan. Georgia was one of the voices that helped to establish the Online Safety Act 2023, which aims to make the internet safer for users by placing new duties on service providers. During the recorded meeting, Georgia explained how there needs to be more in place for victims of online crimes as well as support for those going through the legal process. She said: 'So many victims give up during the process because it is just too much for them, or they are not sure if they are doing or saying the right thing. Sometimes they feel like they are getting victim blamed slightly 'If they just had someone to lean on during the process they would not feel so much like they have to withdraw, they would have an inner strength in them, and they would have advice on what to do and what to say along the timeline of events.'
