Sometimes dogs adapt unique eating habits that make them all the more cute. In one such Instagram video, a Chihuahua puppy named Ernie shows the dog owner how he eats his kibble one at a time. His adorable way of chomping on his food leaves the pet parent laughing. In the caption, the uploader questions viewers, 'Anyone else's dog grab a piece of kibble then brings it over to you to eat?'
Dog comes running to owner every time he starts eating kibble
In an adorable Instagram video, a dog owner shows how her Chihuahua, Ernie, has a unique eating habit when it comes to kibble. It begins with the dog running to his crate and bringing one kibble at a time to the pet parent. He does not bring the treat to give it to his dog mom, but to show her how he eats it. Moreover, he makes cute munching noises while eating a single kibble in the clip.
Ernie repeats the process multiple times before he grabs two kibbles that stick to each other. Although he initially brings the treat to the owner, the puppy drops it once he hops onto the carpet. Then, he tries to separate the kibbles, but his efforts go in vain. It seems the pet doesn't like eating more than one treat at a time.
Explaining the same, the pet parent explains in the caption: 'Ernie will sometimes carry two pieces of kibble in his mouth but then drops one to eat only one kibble at a time.' The owner finds it 'cute.' Meanwhile, viewers found the video absolutely adorable, as they shared their opinions in the comments.
A user wrote, 'Sweetest crunch I've ever heard,' while another lovingly said, 'Omg what a baby.' One individual commented, 'Chiwawas do that, they wanna eat wherever you are, and wait for you to stay at one place and then start eating.' Many found Ernie's habit relatable and shared the stories of their pets. Netizens also called the furbaby 'cute' and 'adorable.' Since the upload, the video has garnered over 26k likes and 215k views.

The 'Love Island' drama, allegations and when a friend group implodes

After JaNa Craig dumped fellow islander Kenny Rodriguez, the famous friend group of "Love Island USA" Season 6 took sides. Craig confirmed her relationship with Rodriguez was over, claiming the truth is more "disgusting" than any of the speculation that has flooded the internet. Rodriguez later replied via social media post that included "I release this chapter with no ill will." The sentiment wasn't shared by fellow islanders. Leah Kateb and Serena Page, and their respective partners, Miguel Harichi and Kordell Beckham, unfollowed Rodriguez on Instagram. Kateb alleged Rodriguez was racist. Olivia "Liv" Walker accused Rodriguez of chasing fame. Most of the cast of Peacock spinoff "Love Island: Beyond the Villa" are not following Rodriguez (who is on the show). USA TODAY reached out to Peacock for comment. The friend group will never be the same. Friends groups fizzle all the time. We move cities. Interest change. We replace half our friends every seven years. The door doesn't always shut forever. But sometimes a clean break is justified, according to Danielle Bayard Jackson, friendship educator and author of "Fighting for our Friendships." This is especially true in the case of allegations of toxic or abusive behavior, Jackson said. Even if that person extends goodwill, as Rodriguez did, we may need to step away to protect ourselves, as JaNa and the others did, she said. "We can recognize that a person feels remorseful and regretful of what they said, that a person was in a place of ignorance and unlearning certain ideas," Jackson said. "It doesn't absolve or protect you from the consequences that come with that." When friend groups fizzle A violation of trust can end a friend group, Jackson said. When foundational beliefs suddenly change, we feel emotionally and physically unsafe, Jackson said. Rescinding friendship isn't about punishment, though, Jackson said. "It's because 'I can't exist safely, freely, vulnerably and wholly with you.'" Jackson said she empathized with the "disillusionment" the islanders experience after trust is broken. "That is a psychological bending that can be really hard to navigate," Jackson said. 'Love Island USA' news: Cierra Ortega reveals if she will be at the 'Love Island: USA' reunion Friend groups should affirm how we want to be seen, Jackson said. For Craig, a Black woman with a highly visible platform, it's especially devastating that Rodriguez would threaten, rather than affirm, her identity, Jackson said. "I don't need you to be a Black person to be my friend," Jackson said of the role of race in friend groups. "But I need you to recognize that I am a Black woman." We don't always see this level of direct confrontation when a group member is accused of being dangerous, according to Jessica Calarco, a sociologist at the University of Wisconsin. "Most will tend to continue the friendship," Calarco said. "This is because when someone close to us – or even similar to us – engages in violent or toxic behavior, we're less likely to blame them for their actions than we would be if we saw the same behavior from someone to whom we're not close." Gender factors, too: Friend groups can be a hugely instrumental for women escaping toxicity in a romantic relationship, according to Calarco. Meanwhile, for some men, friend groups can serve as a blanket defense, she said, with less liklihood of isolating individuals. This isn't always the case, but can often be direct confrontation doesn't occur. "If you think your friend did something terrible, you probably won't lobby to kick them out of the group unless you think that the rest of the group is already on your side," Calarco wrote. "Supporting friends through toxic breakups is also particularly hard for those who are also friends with the partner responsible for the abusive behavior, given the competing obligations involved." More: Why 'Love Island' star Kaylor Martin says she won't watch 'Beyond the Villa' As tempting as it is, don't pose ultimatums to friends, Jackson said. And don't assume friends will automatically be loyal – articulate what you want and let them act. Try saying: "If you can't do (insert behavior), I don't know how to stay friends." Forgiveness and unfriendly aren't mutally exclusive, Jackson said. "We can hold space and have empathy for someone who says they've grown," Jackson said. "In the same vein, we can choose not to be in relationships." Contributing: KiMi Robinson

‘Love Island USA' Season 6 Star JaNa Craig Speaks On Kenny Rodriguez Split Amid Allegtions He's ‘A Narcissist And A Racist'

JaNa Craig has spoken out following her breakup from Kenny Rodriguez and amid allegations on social media that her ex is a 'narcissist' and a 'racist.' Source: Neilson Barnard / Getty The Love Island USA Season 6 stars were together for almost a year before their split was confirmed by TMZ this week. Shortly after news of their breakup broke, fans noticed friends and fellow cast members unfollowing Rodriguez, which started rumors about what led to such a serious rift. JaNa took to Instagram on Tuesday, July 29, to address the breakup for the first time, thanking fans for 'all your love and support' throughout such a difficult time. While she didn't reveal exactly what led to the split, she did say that Kenny's actions were 'terrible, disgusting, and disappointing,' admitting the fan theories didn't even capture how bad things truly were. 'Discovering that someone you loved isn't who you thought they were and that the relationship you thought you were building hasn't been genuine since day one has been truly devastating,' she wrote. Fans were immediately ready to rally behind Craig, and once her Love Island cast members started posting more, the anger toward Rodriguez only grew. He posted a statement of his own, saying, 'Breakups are never easy, especially in the public eye. Sometimes, despite how deeply you care for someone, you come to the hard truth that the relationship was not something that could last long-term.' Kenny continued, 'I'll always be grateful for the time we shared and the memories we created. I release this chapter with no ill will, only a hope that JaNa's path forward brings her nothing but happiness.' This statement is what really seemed to anger not only JaNa, but her friends, causing an avalanche of messages criticizing Rodriguez. Craig tagged her ex-boyfriend in an Instagram Story before writing: 'stfu you manipulative liar. You not taking accountability and telling people the type of person you really are is insane to me!! My first statement was me being nice. Do not piss me off.' JaNa's friends were even more unforgiving in their responses, with LI USA S6 runner-up Leah Kateb accusing Kenny of using ChatGPT for his statement. 'Tell the truth for once,' she began. 'Racist, clout/money hungry and scammer since DAY 1!!!! Tryan make it seem like it's something it's not. Dw, our Nay is blessed & highly favored.' Serena, the winner of Season 6, also commented on JaNa's IG Story, calling Kenny 'a narcissist and a racist.' Craig's best friend from outside of the franchise, Charmane, put together some of the pieces for fans, making a post advising women to go through their significant others' phones. While she didn't connect the post to JaNa, multiple people close to the situation, calling Kenny a scammer and a racist, seem to confirm he did what Charmane is warning about. 'My advice for women in relationships: if you have access- go thru your mans phone TODAY. Search keywords like 'I don't like black women, I thought I would get more money from this, I'm faking this relationship, going on the show would be for clout, I can't wait to be done w this so I can f**k hella b*tches…..' Absolutely despicable. The post 'Love Island USA' Season 6 Star JaNa Craig Speaks On Kenny Rodriguez Split Amid Allegtions He's 'A Narcissist And A Racist' appeared first on Bossip. It's A Wrap: Shannon Sharpe Exits ESPN After Settling $50M Rape Lawsuit

Source: (Photo by Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic) / (Photo by Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic) Shannon Sharpe has been fired from ESPN, just weeks after reaching a settlement in a $50 million civil lawsuit in which he was accused of rape. The NFL Hall of Famer and Club Shay Shay podcaster had previously stepped away from his role on ESPN's First Take after the lawsuit was filed earlier this year, with expectations he'd return ahead of the NFL season. That return will not happen. A source confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that Sharpe won't be rejoining the network. The Athletic was first to report the news. Source: Jon Kopaloff / Getty The exit comes just weeks after the NFL Hall of Famer settled a $50 million civil lawsuit alleging sexual assault and battery. As previously reported, the lawsuit, filed in April 2025 by a woman identified as Jane Doe, accused Sharpe of violently assaulting her on multiple occasions between late 2024 and early 2025. The complaint outlined what she described as a long-term, tumultuous, and abusive relationship with the former tight end. Shortly after the filing, her attorney, Tony Buzbee, released an audio clip in which a man—allegedly Sharpe—could be heard threatening to ' f-king choke the sh-t out' of her. Sharpe fiercely denied the allegations at the time, calling the lawsuit 'a shakedown' and stating he intended to sue for defamation. He also identified his accuser, an OnlyFans model, noting that they started a consensual relationship when she was 19. On July 18, Buzbee announced via Instagram that both sides had 'reached a mutually agreed upon resolution.' His statement read: 'Both sides acknowledge a long-term consensual and tumultuous relationship. After protracted and respectful negotiations, I'm pleased to announce that we have reached a mutually agreed upon resolution. All matters have now been addressed satisfactorily, and the matter is closed. The lawsuit will thus be dismissed with prejudice.' A dismissal with prejudice means the case is permanently closed and cannot be refiled in any court. Sharpe had taken a temporary leave from ESPN's First Take earlier this year when the lawsuit first became public, with initial plans to return in time for the NFL season. That return is no longer happening, according to insiders. Even while sidelined from ESPN, Sharpe continued to release new episodes of Club Shay Shay . He has not spoken on his exit from the network.
