South actor Nagarjuna Akkineni is all set for the release of his upcoming movie Kuberaa. The film, which also stars Dhanush, will hit theatres on June 20. Ahead of the release, Nagarjuna shared his thoughts on working with two well-known directors — Lokesh Kanagaraj and Sekhar Kammula.
In a chat with Galatta Plus, the actor explained how both directors have different styles but are similar in their way of communicating with actors. 'Sekhar Kammula is very real. He focuses on details like clothes and hairstyles. Everything has to be natural," said Nagarjuna. 'But Lokesh loves larger-than-life cinema. That's the kind of cinema I enjoy too."
Giving an example, Nagarjuna added, 'Sekhar would tell me, 'Nag, you're walking like a hero. Calm it down.' He'd even ask me to hunch a bit. But Lokesh would say, 'Sir, walk like a tiger. I want people to feel scared when you enter a room.'"
The actor praised both filmmakers for their unique vision. He said Sekhar makes him feel like the character is someone he'd meet in real life. Lokesh, on the other hand, uses strong visuals and angles to create powerful, dramatic moments.
In Kuberaa, Nagarjuna plays a key role in what's described as a social thriller. The story follows a beggar who gets caught up in a world of lies created by a chartered accountant. But things change when the beggar starts outsmarting him. The film turns into a game of wits between the two. Kuberaa also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh and Dalip Tahil in important roles.
Nagarjuna is also part of Coolie, an action-packed entertainer led by Rajinikanth. That movie features Upendra Rao, with Aamir Khan making a special appearance. Coolie is set to release on August 14 and might clash with the much-awaited War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR.
With back-to-back big films, fans are excited to see Nagarjuna in action once again.

The pre-release event of Kuberaa was initially scheduled to be held on 13 June but was postponed after the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad. The film's team made the announcement and wrote, 'The pre-release event of Kuberaa, scheduled for tomorrow, has been postponed in light of the tragic Ahmedabad flight crash. We stand in solidarity with the grieving families.' They also added, 'Our hearts go out to all affected by the devastating plane crash in Ahmedabad. We extend our sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims. May you find strength in this difficult time.' Kuberaa is slated for release on 20 June and is produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Rammohan Rao of Amigos Creations. The film has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Dhanush, who essayed the role of a beggar in the film, recalled shooting at a dumpyard for hours. At the launch of the song Pippi Pippi Dum Dum Dum, he said, 'To see another part of the world, a sight which you're not exposed to... You're always in your comfort zone, like you do only what's convenient, you're protected. I come from very humble roots.' He also said that shooting for Kuberaa took him back to his childhood, 'Today, I'm here by God's grace. I've seen that, and to go back there to see that world again, it was very enlightening and nostalgic. I'm very thankful to this film for so many reasons, but it takes me back to my childhood as well as one of them.'

While rumours of Rashmika and Vijay have floated around for a while, fans were convinced that they were dating when they both posted separate vacation pictures with the same background. Rashmika also posted pictures and videos from Vijay's house in the last few years, making fans believe they were more than just friends.
