Two cops stomped on naked woman's head in a Sydney street before pepper-spraying her genitals…and videoed it
Senior constable Nathan Black and constable Timothy John Trautsch made a welfare check on the 48-year-old schizophrenic woman in an industrial area at Emu Plains, in western Sydney on January 22, 2023.
Black, 28, and Trautsch, 30, first talked to the woman - who cannot be named for legal reasons - trying to get her into an ambulance and off to the hospital.
'If you touch me, you are f***ed and I mean f***ed. They're up there watching,' she told the two officers while sitting naked on a grassy curb.
'You don't know about the aliens, do you?'
Court documents reveal the woman had been prescribed an antipsychotic but was not taking the medication at the time.
Video footage played at a sentence hearing at Penrith District Court on Thursday shows the pair's violence escalating during an 18-minute assault against the woman.
The officers, who were in plain clothes, have admitted using unlawful force.
She was pushed onto the road, kicked twice in the head, dragged along by her hair and punched.
At one stage, the two officers struggled trying to handcuff her on the ground as she lashed out with her arms.
She was also sprayed six times with pepper spray, twice in the face and once on her back which was grazed after falling into the rough road surface.
'That can be done for no other purpose than the infliction of pain, to spray OC onto a lady's back who has been at various stages dragged or fallen onto the floor,' crown prosecutor Nicholas Marney said.
Some of the pepper spray got onto her genitals, the court was told. The woman's shrieks and sobs were full of expletives at the two officers.
'God, make me strong. God, make me strong,' she said over and over. 'God, please. I'm sorry I didn't listen. I'm sorry, God.'
At one stage, the woman defecated on the road and on Black's leg. 'Wash your dirty stinky arse,' one of the officers was heard saying.
The two men discussed using a Taser and long baton, while Trautsch was at one point seen laughing.
The officers could have restrained the woman or just talked to her but instead chose violence, Mr Marney said.
'It should never have got to that stage, they had an obligation,' he told Judge Graham Turnbull.
There was no threat posed with the two men able to contain her by pushing her onto the road, he argued.
Even as the woman grabbed for the handcuffs, this did not require kicking her in the head, Mr Marney said.
In an horrific admission, Black told medical staff: 'You have to do what you have to do,' when the woman was later taken to Nepean Hospital.
Speaking to a psychologist who gave evidence to the court, Black and Trautsch both claimed they were experiencing long-standing mental health challenges at the time of the incident.
Black pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm, using a prohibited weapon without a permit and three counts of common assault.
He also admitted two counts of intentionally publishing protected information after sending snippets of the body-worn footage to another police officer.
In a message exchange, he described how the pair had emptied two cans of pepper spray on the woman.
'The whole body worn (footage) is so good shows her being f***ed,' he wrote.
Trautsch pleaded guilty to one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, three counts of common assault and one count of using a prohibited weapon without a permit.
Both officers no longer work for the NSW Police Force.
The woman died due to unrelated circumstances 18 months after the attack.
The sentence hearing continues on July 15.

Man feared he would be 'battered' to death by police at Manchester Airport, court hears
A man has told a court he feared he would be "battered" to death by police at Manchester Airport. Mohammed Fahir Amaaz, 20, is accused of assaulting three Greater Manchester Police (GMP) officers as they attempted to arrest him last year. The incident happened in the Terminal 2 car park on 23 July. PC Zachary Marsden and PC Ellie Cook, as well as PC Lydia Ward, tried to detain him for allegedly headbutting a man in an airport Starbucks. Footage shows him resisting and a brawl breaking out involving police, himself and his brother, Muhammad Amaad, 26. Another video shows PC Marsden kick his head and stamp near him. 2:30 Fears PC 'would have killed me' Jurors at Liverpool Crown Court heard Amaaz give evidence on Thursday, where he said he was acting in self-defence and in defence of his brother after he was grabbed at the ticket machine with no explanation. Amaaz said he recognised an officer - identified as PC Marsden - had a hold of his left arm, and told the court: "At first he grabs me and then he just forces me against the ticket machine. "All of a sudden, I remember him grabbing the back of my neck and trying to force me to the ground... I was frightened. "I just didn't want to go down to the ground. Honestly, I believed if he took me to the ground, I thought he would have battered me to the point where I was dead and he would have killed me." Amaaz then told the court he was fearful as "some police officers have abused their powers" to fatal consequences, and said he resisted as a result. When asked if he thought there was a "legitimate reason" for grabbing him, Amaaz said he "would have expected them to give me that reason and communicated to us in some way". Punch at PC 'just to stop attack' He told the court he saw his brother being punched in the face "repeatedly," before going on to strike the two female officers. Both officers were knocked to the ground, with PC Ward suffering a broken nose. Amaaz said he kicked out at one of the officers to "get him away" from his brother and then punched PC Cook for the same reason. He hit PC Ward after he felt a punch go towards his throat, he said, adding he punched "just to stop the attack" and to "protect myself". Amaaz then told the court he saw PC Marsden pointing what he thought was a gun - which was in fact a Taser - at his brother. He then ran towards PC Marsden and struck him from behind before PC Cook fired her Taser at him, before saying he thought he was "dying" as he and the male officer fell backwards. 2:40 Kick from officer 'knocked me out' While on the ground, Amaaz was kicked in the head by PC Marsden, who was seen to stamp near him afterwards. "I remember hearing shouting from one side and lifting my head to see who is shouting," he said. "I remember a boot coming straight for my face. "As soon as it hit me it knocked me out for a few seconds and I think the stamp woke me up." He said he did not see the stamp, but felt a "sort of shove downwards to the floor," and added that he had no hostility towards the police and that another brother, Abid, was a serving GMP officer. "Throughout the whole incident, me and my brother was under attack," he told the court. "I was trying to protect myself and him. I just felt I was fighting for my life." Amaaz is alleged to have assaulted PC Ward and PC Marsden, causing them actual bodily harm. He is also accused of the assault of PC Cook and the earlier assault in Starbucks of Abdulkareem Ismaeil. Amaad is alleged to have assaulted Pc Marsden, causing actual bodily harm.

Former Love Island star Katie Salmon found guilty of assault after ‘pummelling her boyfriend's 2nd girlfriend in street'
A FORMER Love Island star has been found guilty of assault after pummelling her boyfriend's second girlfriend in the street. Katie Salmon, who appeared in season two of the ITV dating show, reportedly attacked her victim with a hairdryer and stiletto shoe on a street in Kettering, Northampton. 6 6 The 29-year-old is understood to have targeted love rival Jyssica Memory, after discovering she was having an affair with her boyfriend, Anthony Kelly. Anthony, who had been with Katie for four years, allegedly sparked a secret relationship with Jyssica and promised her a life of luxury in Thailand. The victim was waiting outside a friends house with her bags packs when she claimed to be "ambushed" by her lover and Katie, as reported by the Northamptonshire Telegraph. Northampton Crown Court heard the former Love Island contestant kicked and punched Jyssica around 10 times. Katie, a born-again Christian and OnlyFans creator, is also understood to have used a hairdryer and stiletto heeled show in the onslaught. "Did you really think you were going to Thailand with my husband?" she was heard shouting. Kelly repeatedly added "f***ing little b***h", the court heard. A witness told how a terrified Jyssica was left on the floor curled up in the fetal position. The 29-year-old was hauled before a judge on July 11, where the jury were also shown shocking video footage. Jyssica's suitcase was emptied out on the street, with her clothes and underwear thrown around in a humiliating display. Love Island fans demand 'get her out' as they slam girl as 'liar' after she's confronted in tense scenes She had clumps of hair ripped from her head, and two black eyes after the horrific assault. Prosecuting, Quiana Fitzpatrick said: 'This was a planned ambush. They decided they would be speaking to her face to face. "It was planned because Harry [Kelly] lied to get the victim to the scene." But Salmon, whose real name is Katie Humphreys, argued she was the victim and "frightened for her life". She had gone to Northampton General Hospital for a split lip, where she required seven stiches. Her current boyfriend, Joe Rossi, supported her at court but had to be removed for causing disruption when he saw the photographs of Humphreys injury. She claimed it was Jyssica who hit her with a hairdryer, and gave her concussion. The mum-of-one told the court Kelly had egged her on to continue fighting. Kelly, who shared a daughter with Humphreys, has since died of suicide in Thailand. The couple, who got engaged in 2021, had been living out there. They moved back to the UK for the birth of their child in 2022, but were planning to return to Thailand before Kelly's death. Defending, Rachel Oakdene, said there were "conflicting accounts" of what happened. She argued: 'This incident was orchestrated by Harry [Kelly]. "Without wanting to speak ill of the dead, he appears to have been playing both of them like fiddles.' SECRET RELATIONSHIP The court heard how Kelly had also been dating Jyssica for four years. She had been sending Humphrey's videos from her Only Fans page, which showed the pair together. Kelly and his partner threatened Jyssica with legal action to remove the content from her platform. Humphreys said she was going to "set the record straight" with Jyssica on the night of the attack. Jyssica was told to pack her bags for Thailand and tell Kelly when she was ready to go. But instead she was confronted by Kelly, Humphreys, and a second man named Jimmy. The victim claimed she wasn't aware Kelly and Humphreys were back together. She claimed her on-and-off partner shouted "just kill her, I wish this b***h would die". In another moment he was recorded saying "I'm going to kill you. F***ing b***h. F***ing tramp. You're dead". After the shocking assault, during which witnesses told the court Jyssica made no attempt to fight back, the trio fled. But police arrested them later that evening. Humphreys was found guilty of assault on a person causing them actual bodily harm. She will be sentenced on September 15. 6 6
