Jaipur: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) Sunday appointed Rajakhera MLA Rohit Bohra as the treasurer of the
Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee
(RPCC).
On being appointed the treasurer, former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Pradesh Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasra congratulated Bohra on 'X'.
"Hearty congratulations and best wishes to Rajakhera MLA Rohit Bohra on being appointed as the treasurer of the RPCC," said Dotasra.
"Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Rajakhera MLA Rohit Bohra on being appointed as the Treasurer of the RPCC," said Gehlot.
A two-time MLA, Bohra was first elected as an MLA from the Rajakhera assembly constituency in 2018 when he defeated BJP's Ashok Sharma.

When the British refused to grant India freedom despite the sacrifices the country made during World War II, Mahatma Gandhi's clarion call of "Do or Die" became the anthem of a nation ready to risk everything. The Congress on Wednesday stepped up its campaign against alleged 'vote chori' by releasing a new video depicting how fake votes were being cast and party chief Mallikarjun Kharge asking people to raise their voice and save constitutional institutions from the "clutches of the BJP". Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi also shared the minute-long video and said, "Aapke vote ki chori aapke adhikar ki chori, aapki pehchaan ki chori hai."
