Single and ready to mingle! Meet the blokes looking for love on the new season of Farmer Wants A Wife
In the New Year, six strapping country blokes will be opening their hearts – and their farms – in the hope of finding The One.
Let's meet the good-looking and outgoing farmers hoping to lasso love on TV.
Farmer Jarrad
Jarrad is a 41-year-old almond farmer from Taylorville, South Australia.
He is family-focused, kind-hearted, a firm believer in keeping an open mind and loves nothing more than cooking up a feast for friends after a big day outdoors.
The fitness-loving adventurer is searching for a genuine woman who values honesty, humility and a keen sense of humour.
'Life's more fun when you're able to enjoy the little things, support one another, and keep learning together,' he says in a statement.
Farmer Dylan
Dylan is an energetic 24-year-old sheep farmer from Cherry Gardens, South Australia.
A competitive rodeo cowboy, Dylan would rather spend his days chasing calves and riding horses than navigating city traffic.
This nature-loving softie is just as happy caring for orphaned wildlife as he is travelling.
He is after a woman looking to embrace life to the fullest – or as Dylan puts it: 'Someone who's not afraid to take the bull by the horns!'
Farmer Alex
Alex is a 28-year-old cattle and mushroom farmer from Kin Kin, in Noosa's hinterland in Queensland.
Grounded yet creative, Alex is a self-confessed 'nerd at heart' who loves cooking Italian and Japanese dishes, dancing, hiking and live music.
Always up for an adventure, he's looking for someone artistic, fun and a little cheeky – a partner who's as excited about life's next chapter as he is.
Farmer Jason
Jason is a 37-year-old dairy farmer from Coolabunia in Queensland.
Nicknamed the 'gentle giant,' Jason is a proud father-of-two ready to share life's adventures with someone special.
Outgoing, warm and family-oriented, he's searching for a bubbly, genuine woman with a bright outlook – and maybe a killer smile – to join him and his children on their next chapter.
Farmer John
John is a 37-year-old cattle farmer from Mogumber, Western Australia, 150km north of Perth.
Raised on his parents' cattle farm, John has built the life he always dreamed of – and now he's looking for someone to share it with.
A motor enthusiast who's as comfortable behind the wheel as he is in the paddock, John is drawn to confident, easy-going women with a sense of adventure and drive.
Farmer Zac
Zac is a 24-year-old apple farmer from Forest Range, a small town in SA's Adelaide Hills.
Energetic and sporty, Zac loves nothing more than hosting family meals and having a laugh.
The AFL devotee – who's played for the same local club since he was six – is a whiz in the kitchen.
He's looking for someone driven but supportive, with open communication at the heart of their relationship.
While the men are locked in for FWAW, Channel Seven is still searching for a group of bright and bubbly women who can compete for their affection.
The Australian version of Farmer Wants a Wife is the most successful reality dating television show in the country, by the metric of lasting unions.
It has resulted in a notable number of marriages and babies, including 11 marriages and 27 children in Australia.
The show's international success is even more impressive, with reports of over 200 marriages and more than 500 children worldwide.
Natalie Gruzlewski is likely to return as host for the 16th season of the Australian franchise, with her former co-host Samantha Armytage locked in to host The Golden Bachelor franchise.

Fate of The Flip Off revealed amid Christina Haack's messy on-camera ex drama and cancellations to HGTV shows
The Flip Off has been renewed for a second season despite Christina Haack 's messy on-camera split with her ex and cancellations to their HGTV shows. In addition to 42-year-old Christina the show also stars her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, 44, and his new wife Heather Rae El Moussa, 37. The return of the reality competition series may have been a surprise to many fans as HGTV has axed several beloved programs recently in a bit of a network bloodbath. Last month, it was revealed that Tarek and Heather's series The Flipping El Moussas was cancelled and Christina's series Christina On The Coast suffered the same fate. Along with The Flip Off, HGTV also renewed Love It Or List It and Renovation Aloha in addition to ordering holiday shows Hoarding For The Holidays and White House Christmas 2025. In their series, Tarek and Heather compete against Christina to see who can find, buy, renovate and flip a house for the biggest financial gain. The Flip Off was a smashing success earlier this year as it became HGTV's highest-rated new series since 2022. Christina was actually first intended to have teamed up with then-husband Josh Hall when the series began filming but drama played both on and off camera leading to their divorce filing in July of last year. The premiere episode of The Flip Off saw Christina and Josh's, 44, relationship issues come to a head as they endured a tense car ride together which was on-camera. 'This is a competition. We gotta pull out all stops. Whatever it takes to win, I'll do it. Halls rule!' he tells her as she sits stiffly by his side in the passenger seat. In response to her silence, Josh began to berate Christina as he accused her of being 'rude.' 'Remember, you're a Hall now. Don't get confused in this competition about what your last name is,' he continued. Christina, then, explained, she doesn't 'over talk.' Josh proceeds to lose his temper, before snapping: 'Yeah, the s**t you say and I'm just like, "I wish you'd shut up already."' This causes Christina to sigh and remain quiet, until Josh tells the cameras that his 'wife's pissing' him 'off.' 'Are we there yet?' Christina asks as she makes it clear that she can't wait to get away from her then-husband. She later tearfully told her ex Tarek on camera that she and Josh had 'officially split up' as they had an emotional conversation and showed mutual love and respect to one another despite their tough past. Christina and Josh finally settled their divorce in May after tying the knot in October 2021. Christina and Tarek's marriage ended in 2016 after a tense incident involving Tarek fleeing with a gun and entering rehab, but despite a rocky co-parenting journey, they've largely maintained a positive relationship since. Meanwhile, Tarek and Heather began dating in 2019 before marrying in 2021.

Strictly Come Dancing's new contestant revealed after Game of Thrones star forced to pull out
EMMERDALE hunk Lewis Cope has been confirmed as the new contestant for Strictly Come Dancing 2025 – being drafted in at the last minute. The star was announced on The One Show tonight, making an appearance after an 11th hour casting following the exit of Game of Thrones star, Kristian Nairn. 7 7 7 The 20-year-old from Hartlepool, County Durham, played Nicky Milligan on the ITV soap from 2022 to 2024. The character was the secret son of Caleb Miligan, and the grandson of Faith Dingle and Frank Tate. Speaking about accepting the challenge, Lewis admitted that he was drafted in "over the past two days" and wasn't initially in the running to take part. "If anything, it's probably helped me," he said of joining late. "Because I haven't really had time to think about it or anything. "So now the excitement has kind of just taken over, and I'm just like all inside." As for who he wants to impress, he said: "I'd probably say Shirley, just because she seems to be very particular on technique and all of that. "So if I can manage to learn some of the technique, and I think that'll be, like, a nice achievement for me." Without a preference for a partner, he added: "All of them are going to be fantastic. I know they're at the top of the game. "So for me, I probably want someone that's going to push me, like, literally push me." Lewis might just be accused of having unfair dance experience, however. Strictly Come Dancing star QUITS show 'for medical reasons' At the age of 11 he was appearing in one of the leading roles in Billy Elliot: The Musical in London's West End. Luckily he managed to avoid too much Mickey taking at school. He said: 'I never got any stick at school – it probably helped that I had brothers in every year and that they were boxers. 'But I was also able to charm and joke with classmates, so it was never a big thing. I was very lucky, for somebody else it could have been different.' Nairn, famed for playing Hodor on Game of Thrones, was confirmed to be leaving the show today on medical grounds. 7 7 7 He said in his official statement: "With a heavy heart, I have to step back from this season of Strictly Come Dancing due to unexpected medical reasons. "I was truly looking forward to the journey, and I'm deeply sorry to disappoint anyone who was looking forward to seeing me on the dance floor. "Thank you all for your support, and I will be back on my feet very soon, in every sense. Love to all, Kristian." The 49-year-old actor later took to social media with a video, explaining that his vitals had spiked due a combination of stress and grief. Apologising to fans, he explained that doctors had advised he withdraw from the show so he could get back to normal. He is now under treatment expected to make a full recovery, with Nairn adding that the doctors didn't see the spike as a major concern. "I'm not going to have time for the show - I'm not going to have time for the training," he said. "I also don't want to leave them, you and my other contestants hanging, that's not really fair." Kristian admitted he was "gutted" to be out saying he spent months preparing and "looking forward to taking part". But he thanked Strictly bosses for their "understanding" and support. "So, let's see what happens when I get sorted. I'm gonna be taking it easy for now and I'll be able to return to work very shortly," he continued. "It's always been my honour to, in some way and my weird way, to just to be... just to show that I'm from Northern Ireland. "I'm very proud and I'm sorry I've let you down in any way. But I'll continue to do my best." Sarah James, Executive Producer, BBC Studios said of the exit: 'We've absolutely loved getting to know Kristian in this short time, and he has all the makings of a brilliant Strictly Come Dancing contestant. "We're incredibly sorry to lose him from this year's series and we all wish him a speedy recovery.' Strictly Come Dancing kicks off next month on BBC One.
