Balvinder Sopal has been revealed as the newest celebrity joining this year's Strictly Come Dancing lineup. The BBC performer, recognised for playing Suki Panesar in EastEnders, is now set to battle for the coveted glitterball trophy alongside fellow contestants already confirmed for the series. The announcement was made during Tuesday's Good Morning Britain broadcast, with entertainment correspondent Richard Arnold delivering the thrilling update to ITV audiences. Liverpool prepare move for teenage defender as Marc Guehi alternative
Liverpool are favourites to sign Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace before the transfer window closes, but they have come up with a Plan B if they cannot get the deal done. Guehi is into the final year of his contract at Selhurst Park and Eagles chairman Steve Parish has admitted that a move is likely, unless they can convince the centre-back to sign a new deal. 'We'd have to do that, of course,' Parish said of a Guehi exit. 'For players of that calibre to leave on a free, it's a problem for us unfortunately. 'Joachim [Andersen] went [to Fulham last year] and we couldn't afford to lose both. We then had another bid [for Guehi] in January but that was a different situation. 'We'll just have to see what happens. But it needs a new contract or a conclusion of some kind.'
