ITV Loose Women welcomes three new panellists as popular show returns
Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson will be among those joining the panel for Loose Men, as part of mental health awareness week.
Loose Women is in for a major change as of next week, with the return of a special episode. Loose Men will see some fresh faces take to the panel as part of mental health awareness week.
In one clip, Craig Doyle tells viewers 'nothing is off limits' as he's joined by first time panellists, Charles Spencer, Sam Thompson and Dr Amir Khan. Viewers will see the Loose Men panel discuss taboos of both mental and physical health.
They are set to open the floor to debate on issues impacting men in the modern world. From navigating modern fatherhood, exploring couples' counselling and maintaining a strong bond with your siblings, as reported by the Manchester Evening News.
It comes as new research has suggested men are more likely to check sports results than changes in their body. Craig will also receive a head-to-toe health MOT as Dr Amir shares the things viewers at home can do and look out for their health.
Ahead of the show, first-time Loose Men panellist Sam said: "I've genuinely always wanted to join Loose Men. I've done Loose Women & Men before but this is my first time on the Loose Men panel and it's an absolute pleasure to be joining Charles, Dr Amir and Craig.
"No doubt we'll have some classic lunchtime laughs but I'm also looking forward to some honest and heartfelt discussions. It's a real honour to be on the panel, I am really looking forward to it."
Charles shared regarding his debut: "What a privilege to be part of the quartet with Craig, Dr Amir and Sam. It's quite humbling to be part of a programme that will hopefully encourage many men to take good care of themselves but it will be great fun and I'm looking forward to every minute of it."
Dr Amir, who regularly appears on ITV's Lorraine, also commented: 'I'm really excited to be joining Loose Men to shine a light on something close to my heart - men's health. As blokes, we're often terrible at talking about how we feel or checking out symptoms when something's not right.
"I'll be sharing some life-saving signs and symptoms that every man (and lots of women) should know and explaining why being more aware of our physical and mental health isn't just important, it's essential. Looking after yourself doesn't make you weak, it makes you wise. Let's break the stigma, open up the conversation and help more men live longer, healthier, happier lives."
Craig added: "I'm back in the Loose Men hot seat and this time I'm joined by an unmissable new panel with an Earl, a Doctor and King of the Jungle!
"It's so important for us men to talk, but to also have a laugh with one another and hopefully we can encourage those watching that it's okay to do both with your mates.
"Plus, we'll be revealing the results of my full health MOT with Dr Amir, highlighting key signs to check for at home. If I can do it on television, you absolutely can too."

Jamie Laing shares moving tribute as pal tragically dies on Air India flight
Jamie Laing has paid tribute to his 'wonderful' friend who was feared to be on the ill-fated Air India flight this week. Fiongal Greenlaw, 39, and his husband Jamie Meek, 45, are thought to have been on board the flight, bound for London's Gatwick Airport, which went down shortly after take-off. They are said to have been on holiday in India. The couple co-founded a wellness brand together, which had been shown on ITV's This Morning. Following the tragic news, Jamie paid tribute to Jamie with a tribute on his Instagram Stories. "I will miss you dear friend," he said. "A wonderful human with a wonderful soul." Fiongal appeared as a guest on This Morning in January. During the episode, he gave hosts Ben and Cat a reading over their auras. He was brought back as a spiritual advisor on the show in April, with him appearing alongside Ben, Cat and Josie Gibson in the TV studio based in London. After his first visit, a post shared by his wellness brand the Wellness Foundry on Instagram read: "So this happened ... The biggest gig so far! Fiongal on This Morning - it was very nerve-wracking but he was honoured to chat about one of his favourite topics to such a big audience." The post on the platform continued: "Thank you to everyone [at] This Morning for being so amazing and guiding me through. Thank you to [Cat and Ben] for being so kind and welcoming." Fiongal and Jamie are said to have been died in the plane crash this week. As it was previously reported, the duo posted a clip from Ahmedabad airport moments before getting on the plane. Fellow Made In Chelsea star Alex Mytton also paid tribute amid reports Jamie and Fiongal died in the crash. Tagging his girlfriend Helen Wood, Alex wrote: "A bit lost for words and feeling a tad emotionally exhausted so I just want to write a short message so as to get the message out. "Our lovely friends Fiongal & Jamie were very sadly killed yesterday in the plane crash in India. There's a lot more I want to say about them, as they were very close to @Hannah_woood & I's heart but right now I just wanted to say that if anybody wants to meet up tomorrow if they're feeling heavy, sad or just wanna hang out with some other humans I'm gonna be organising a little meet up & hug in the park or along the lines (sorry not making loads of sense atm). "It feels like there's a lot of sadness and pain at the moment and just wanted to do something as a vigil to our friends but also for everything else going on at the moment. "So please if you're feeling down or even just up for hanging out or just saying hey, it'll be a bunch of us just chatting and chilling in the park."

Ascot can lift mood after Derby doom and gloom with five days of royal glamour, star runners and a racing spectacle fit for the world stage, writes ED CHAMBERLIN
What a difference a week will make. From the doom and gloom of Epsom and its empty hill to the promise of something quite spectacular at Royal Ascot, five days that will illustrate everything great about British racing. Why are the two occasions so different? It would have been unthinkable during the late Queen's reign for her not to be at Epsom on Derby Day but the lack of a Royal presence seven days ago certainly contributed to how flat everything felt. The occasion, for so many reasons, isn't resonating with the nation. We had an audience of 1.3million on ITV, an improvement from 12 months ago but still nothing to write home about. In contrast, when we started covering racing in 2017, our ambition was to get one million-plus watching on midweek afternoons — we hope to do that on all five days next week. People can't get enough of Ascot and that's because the course has moved with the times, making it an occasion for everyone. When the Royal procession goes down the track, it passes a complete cross section of society within 500 yards. You have the picnickers on the Heath to those dining in the restaurant of Yannick Alleno, a chef with 17 Michelin stars; you'll have students there for a good time rubbing shoulders with aristocrats. Tickets are selling fast and Ascot expect close to 300,000 across the five days. It was all doom and gloom at Epsom on Derby Day just seven days ago This year marks the 200th anniversary of the Royal procession and Ascot, a racecourse in tune with their local community, have invited 500 kids from local schools on course to see the spectacle. It remains as relevant as it has ever been. My hope is the Princess of Wales will be there with the Prince on Wednesday for the blockbuster race named in his honour. I'd love to see David and Victoria Beckham in the carriages one day, too, as they would carry racing on to the front pages. I argued on these pages last year how I would love to see places reserved in the procession for the NHS heroes and heroines, to spread the love around, but the meeting is so successful I'll leave all decisions for the powers-that-be. Ascot's biggest selling point, however, is that Felicity Barnard — the new chief executive — knows what matters. For all the pomp, pageantry and popping corks, everything revolves around horses. Everyone wants to be here, with runners arriving from America, Japan, Australia, Spain and Norway. And, at the heart of it, we will be looking for a winner. Betting will be central to our coverage and my idea of a 'good thing' is Shadow Of Light in Friday's Commonwealth Cup. I can't wait. This is Ascot: historic and in fashion — and the reason everyone will be watching. BETS OF THE WEEK: Aside from Shadow Of Light, I expect REACHING HIGH to win Tuesday's Ascot Stakes for the King and Queen. I'm also hearing positive vibes for FITZELLA in the Albany Stakes on Friday.

Love Island fans left saying same thing after Shea's brutal swipe at co-star
After a tense recoupling ceremony last night, two Islanders were left facing elimination. Blu and Shea had to to convince their fellow Islanders that they deserved to stay in the villa while the other goes home Shea has launched a cutting attack on his co-star Blu tonight in an attempt to secure his place in the Love Island villa, wich had fans saying the same thing. The pair were both left single after the recoupling ceremony that aired yesterday (June 12), leaving them vulnerable to being dumped from the island. In a surprise twist, the boys received a text saying that it was down to Shea and Blu to decide which one of them would stay on the ITV dating show, and which one would walk away. Unsurprisingly, this escalated into a standoff as neither of them is willing to call a time on their experience. While both Islanders started off by gently making their case to stay, things soon escalated and got personal. Blu started off by telling Shea he feels it's more important for him to stay in the villa as he has been here for longer, and therefore, bonded with his fellow cast members more. He added: "I haven't had that opportunity to properly form a bond with a girl…I think I deserve the opportunity to explore." But Shea quickly fired back with a scathing remark that shocked viewers. The scaffolder told Blu: "You've been here longer, that means you've had more of a chance than me to get to know these people. That says a lot in itself." Viewers took to X to share their surprise at the ugly turn the competition took, with one saying: "Shea may be dry but I'm still happy he was chosen to stay over Blu." "Shea I'm glad you're here over Blu but you're quite boring. Megan has too much energy for him #loveisland," said a second. Meanwhile, a third went on to write: "Blu going was absolutely the right decision. Shea hasn't had any time to get to know people and there's 3 bombshells coming in. It's actually a shite twist considering the new bombshells - what was the point? We just lost Sophie so should have given it a few more days #LoveIsland." After realising that Shea was willing to insult him in order to stay in the villa, Blu hit back with a jab of his own, saying: "I don't think in here, there's someone for you." However, Shea disagreed, responding: "I think if a girl walked in I could definitely take it somewhere." This also seemed like a swipe at Blu, who tried and failed to start a romance with Shakira before the recoupling ceremony. Blu has been paired up with the classy Scottish Alima, but after neither of them felt a spark and agreed it was more of a friendship couple, he decided to look for love elsewhere. When Shakira was left single earlier in the week he stepped forward to show his interest in her, and although she chose Harry, Blu seemed determined to win her over in the end. After a game of dares around the fire pit, he pulled her aside for a heart-to-heart in the Hideaway, where he revealed he wanted to kiss her but decided to wait until they were somewhere more private. The pair then locked lips, and Blu was quick to show off about it to Shakira's partner Harry, telling him "things went well, and she enjoyed it". However, Shakira later admitted she felt guilty about the incident and decided to cut things off with Blu, leaving him alone at the recoupling ceremony. Meanwhile, Shea has not yet struck up a romance with any of the girls after arriving at the villa two days ago as a bombshell alongside Remell. However, before coming on Love Island, Shea made it clear he is looking for "something more serious" and is hoping to find a partner who will be accepting of his young son, so it makes sense that the gym buff is moving more slowly.
