Love Island fans fume as Harry charms Helena's parents after heartache and is branded a ‘lovable villain'

Harry and Helena had split just days prior in an emotional breakup before recoupling with Shakira and Blu, respectively.
Helena's parents were full of praise for their daughter and how she'd handled Harry's controversial behaviour.
"From my end, it was so genuine and so real," Helena told her mum, Jasmine who replied, "Helena, you're a winner."
Her dad, Phil, managed to steal the show while in the villa saying Harry "wore his d*** on his sleeve," referring to the footballer's high rotation of women while appearing on Love Island.
But as Helena bonded with her parents, the Islanders watched on as Harry approached them for a chat.
"Ah the man himself," Phil said to Harry who responded, "I just wanted to come and say to you both in person - I apologise for a lot of my behaviour towards your daughter."
They chatted for a bit longer and Harry managed to win them over with his charm and was even dubbed a "lovable villain," by Blu's mum as they bid farewell.
Love Island viewers were left furious that Harry was able to charm so many of the parents, despite his behaviour.
"Helena's dad hasn't got a clue does he 'it is what it is,' are you having a laugh! If I had a daughter and Harry treated her like that I would be ripping Harry a new a***hole, Harry knows he can get away with anything, he will NEVER change," wrote one angry fan on X, formerly Twitter.
Another added: "Can't understand why Helena's mum would hug Harry and her dad shake his hand, weird."
'She's such a liar' rage Love Island fans as Meg makes bold claim to Shakira
And a third wrote: "If that was my dad and he met someone like Harry & he hurt me my dad wouldn't be complimenting the man or laughing with him and mum would be the same."
But it was not all friendly for Harry with some of the mums, including Shakira's mum, giving him a wide berth.
Shakira's sister Shanti and mum Sukina arrived to the villa, but the latter gave Harry a very icy reception.
'What I will say, with him, he can prove himself to you before he has to prove himself to me,' she told Shakira as he then approached them at the Firepit with his own mum and best mate, Harry.
As Harry walked over to the Firepit, Shakira's mum refused to stand up.

Love Island star is ‘sabotaging' rival couple ahead of the final, insist furious fans
A LOVE Island star is 'sabotaging' a rival couple ahead of the finals according to fans. There has been little public divide when it comes to who viewers want to vote out next on the latest series of the ITV2 dating show. 4 4 But now it appears that the Love Islander in question, Dejon, has further fallen out of public favour after his comments about Megan and Conor's relationship on the show last night. Dejon has been coupled with Meg Moore since the start of the series, but dislikes the way Megan Clarke appears to have changed on the show since returning to the villa in a shock twist. Talking to fellow Love Island contestants Meg, 24, and Angel Swift, 26, in the Majorca villa, Dejon, 26, said: 'I was just chatting to Harry and Blu about his whole perception of the Megan and Conor situation, and that the Megan that came in here the first time is completely different to the Megan that's come here now.' From here the ladies chimed in, sharing their opinions on Megan's apparent personality shift. 'She made a comment today about me, about how they've had more girl bombshells [on the show], and she was like yeah well they won't bring any more because Meg would just boot off every time,' said Dejon's other half. 'When it was the Grafties, she'd already seen everything and she didn't come in here once and say to you girls oh by the way, they've been saying this about you,' Dejon added. After Dejon's conversation, Megan and Conor were seen chatting casually about the behaviour they've noticed in the villa and wanting to do their best to be there for each other. 'What I will say as I've seen it a lot in here is that when couples are going good, and it's getting to crunch time now, it's convenient that the boys come up with a problem for me and a problem for you to make you act out of character and to make me act out of character and to turn us against each other,' said Conor. Fans have been quick to spot the slights aimed at Megan and Conor's relationship, claiming that Dejon is doing all he can to sabotage them as he feels threatened by the rival couple. One fan said: 'Dejon is just straight up sabotaging other couples now?!' Love Island star is 'sabotaging' rival couple ahead of the final, insist furious fans Another added: 'Conor don't feed into it! Doing everything to get the heat off themselves, it's actually so applaudable', followed by laughing face emojis. Even before last night's drama, viewers have been keen to see Dejon leave the show after showing little effort to romance Meg. 'Luke T did an entire treasure hunt for Siannise. Dejon does the bare minimum and she eats it up!', one fan remarked online. Though the demands for Dejon to exit the show sooner rather than later began after it was revealed another villa couple had been secretly dumped from the Island. 4 4

Love Island family feud as Dejon's brother hits out at Meg's sister in cruel rant
Love Island star Dejon Noel-Williams' brother, Isiah, shared his thoughts on Meg Moore's family in a recent video shared on his social media page Love Island star Dejon Noel-Williams' brother hit out at Meg Moore's sister in a rant shared on his 'debrief' on TikTok. Isiah has been sharing daily debriefs on social media and shares his thoughts on his brother's relationship with Meg, as well as the activities going on in the Spanish villa. In a recent TikTok, where he covered the family visit to the show, he shared his two pence on Meg's sister, Paige, and compared her to Miss Trunchbull from Matilda. He said: "I'm watching last night's episode and my brother has picked the wrong family. Meg's sister reminds me of Miss Trunchbull from Matilda with the way she moves, the way she talks. It's not it. "That family, let's be real, it's not about that. But Shakira, Toni and Yas' parents, they're amazing. They're sensational, what a trio. I like Cach's family, they're quite chill like him. You can see he's a good role model for his little brother. I like that family." He went on to to slam Helena, calling her a 'gremlin'. He explained: "Helena, she loves a young man. She needs to give it a rest, she's a gremlin. But Harry, that man, even after all the stuff he's done, he's a top striker." A few followers were shocked by his comments and questioned who he was even voting for. One said: "Are youuuu even voting for your brother at this point." One offended user commented: "I think Meg picked the wrong family, are you okay?", while one was amused by the video and added: "I'm screaming... The way you're sabotaging him," along with crying emojis. Some fans even took to social media to comment on his Matilda comparison, with one writing on X: "Dejon and Meg won't last anyways. Dejon's brother came on TikTok and called Megan's sister miss trunchbull." Although Meg's family had concerns over the relationship, Dejon's family were supportive. His mum, Demelza, even warned Meg about the other girls in the villa. She said: "I just want to say that these girls are not your friends." After her sister agreed, Meg said: "Yeah, I've seen it." Demelza appeared to then say: "Smiling assassins!" Later, as she was leaving the villa, Dejon's mum Demelza told all the Islanders to be mindful of what they say because everyone's families are watching back home. She told the Islanders: "Guys, just remember you've got loved ones outside." Demelza continued by saying that she felt that some people's behaviours and comments had already been "quite hurtful". She instead encouraged them to "just have fun" in the last week ahead of the upcoming final next Monday. Sharing her thoughts, Demelza said: "That's all I want to say and some of the things you're doing and saying is quite hurtful. So just be mindful that all of you have got loved ones watching. Take that into the last week and just have fun."

Love Island Ofcom complaints skyrocket to 9000 as viewers blast 'abusive' behaviour leaving stars 'broken' - and ANOTHER on-screen romp in shared bedroom sparks major backlash
Love Island Ofcom complaints have skyrocketed to a whopping 9000. Viewers of the ITV2 dating show have blasted the 'abusive' behaviour that has left stars 'broken' and ANOTHER on-screen romp which has sparked major backlash. 9,339 viewers were very unhappy some of the scenes that occurred during the programme - with the majority being about the alleged bullying towards Shakira Khan, 22. The complaints were registered with Ocfcom and now the watchdog is investigating the show. Shakira and Harry Cooksley, 30, recently got back together after he went exclusive with Helena Ford, 29, leaving her heartbroken. The trio had been involved in a very messy love triangle from the very start of the series, after originally coupling up with Shakira, and then deciding to be with Helena. Many have questioned Harry's behaviour throughout the show. Despite sharing their concern over Shakira, many have taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share how well Shakira has been perceived. 'Shakira is the most respectful, self aware, mature person in Love Island history, never mind the fact that she's only 22.' 'Shakira is so real that she's willing to leave the villa without a man or winning instead of faking it with Conor till the end, if anything we can be proud of her for staying true to herself, but damn Harry?!?' '"I do like him, I just don't like him enough," you know what Shakira that's real.' 'Well you can't say Shakira is a game player! She could have faked it with Ty and Conor to get to the final and potentially win but looks like she dgaf about winning or getting to the final.' Duty of care is available to all Islanders 24/7. But 29 people did take to Ofcom to share their concerns about Harry after he opened up about his true feelings towards Shakira. The publication reported that 298 were made about the way Blu Chegini, 26, spoke to Toni Laites, 24, during an argument - and accused the star of 'stirring drama' to get more 'air time' as final approaches. Megan Clarke, 24, made a shock return to the villa last week after getting brutally dumped from the villa - and this led onto 55 complains about it. Daily Mail contacted ITV for comment. Meanwhile others took to social media to share their complaints about some of the Islanders getting frisky in the communal bedroom. Earlier this week viewers pointed out that Meg Moore, x, and Dejon Noel-Williams, x, had close under the sheets during Monday and Tuesday's episodes. One said on X: 'Meg and Dejon having sex is making me sick I'm making a complaint to OFCOM.' 'Ffs every night Meg and Dejon having sex save our eyes plz.' 'I do not want to see Meg and Dejon having sex twice producers. My day is ruined.' 'I feel like Meg and Dejon is sexually assaulting me in my own home. Please don't ever show them having sex on my screen again please!' 'WE DON'T WANT TO SEE MEG AND DEJON HAVING SEX.' Last week it was revealed that Love Island had racked up more than one thousand Ofcom complaints with fans appalled by the 'misogyny and bullying' on the ITV2 show, which has reduced stars to tears. The recent few weeks of the series have been full of drama, so it's no surprise that viewers have taken to the telly regulator to share their concerns. The complaints that have been made have been registered with Ofcom, the regulator will not be investigating the show. According to The Sun, a whopping 280 people took to the broadcasting watchdog to shared their complaints over Harrison Solomon, 22, Dejon Noel-Williams, 26, and 30-year-old Harry Cooksley's alleged misogynic behaviour. Meanwhile others (247 people) shared their concern about Shakira after some alleged bullying. And there are some episodes in particular that concerned viewers. The instalment that aired on July 20 received a number of complaints - including 222 viewers that weren't happy about Dejon's behaviour towards women. And a number of islanders raised some eyebrows on July 17. 69 people complained about Harrison's alleged misogynic behaviour and a further 27 took to the regulator to share concern about Shakira's well-being. Love Island's episode on July 15 bagged 184 in total about a number of different things. 107 people complained about Harrison's alleged misogynic behaviour and 44 weren't happy with how Lauren Wood, 26, was perceived on the show. 34 others thought that there was some bullying behaviour towards Shakira and Toni. Before entering the villa, the show share a number of care protocols with the stars, including training in language and behaviour. They are also told to suspend social media and are given ongoing support before, during and after they take part in the programme. ITV's official website states: 'Programme contributors will be offered a full package of measures to ensure they remain supported prior to, during and after the filming period on the show. 'After an initial trial period, the show will now formally introduce a guideline asking participants to pause social media handles and accounts for the duration of their time on the show, to ensure that both the Islanders and their families are protected from the adverse effects of social media.' The welfare services that islanders are offered include: comprehensive psychological support, training on impacts of socal media, financial management, conversations regarding the impact of participation on the show. They are also offered an aftercare package and guidance and advice on taking on management.
