Channing Tatum was learning on the job early in his acting career. The 44-year-old movie star made his film debut in the drama 'Coach Carter' back in 2005 - but Channing thinks his acting skills have really matured in recent years.
Channing - who actually worked as a stripper and as a model before finding success in Hollywood - told 'Extra': 'I was getting jobs before I knew what even acting was or how to do it.
'I was doing all, like, kinda onthe-job training in a way, just being like, 'Okay, just say the line naturally,' instead of actually understanding what acting is and what this, like, beautiful gift is.'
Channing has 'learned so much' about acting from watching films. The 'Deadpool and Wolverine' star shared: 'I was watching movies and I've learned so much from movies, more than I've learned from school or anything else or books or anything.
'Movies are probably my longest relationship in my life. I don't know, I just love them so much. They're magical.'
Meanwhile, Channing recently revealed that he 'won't be doing anymore fat roles'.
The actor took to social media to reveal the physical transformation he made for 'Josephine', the upcoming thriller film, and Channing confirmed that he doesn't intend to pile on the pounds for any future film roles.

Justin Timberlake was ill for ‘months' before Lyme disease diagnosis

Bang Showbiz | Los Angeles Justin Timberlake was ill for 'months' before being diagnosed with Lyme disease. The 44-year-old singer revealed last week he had contracted the tickborne condition - which can cause symptoms ranging from nerve pain and fatigue to cognitive difficulties and chronic illness - and insiders have told how he initially thought the exhaustion and pain he had been experiencing were part of getting older and the demands of his two-year Forget Tomorrow world tour. The source told People magazine: 'He's not 20 anymore. But when his symptoms worsened, he realised something deeper was going on. 'He pushed through for months before finally getting answers. The Lyme disease diagnosis brought clarity to a series of unexplained issues that he's been quietly dealing with.' The SexyBack singer's wife, Jessica Biel 'felt like something was off' with Justin's health and 'encouraged him to get checked out. The source added: 'She could tell that he wasn't himself. She's incredibly supportive.' Now his tour is over, Justin - who has sons Silas, 10, and fouryear-old Phineas with Jessica - is planning to focus on his health and take time to rest and recover. The insider said: 'He's taking it seriously. The plan is to rest, spend time with Jess and the kids and do everything he can to heal. 'He loved touring and being back onstage, but he's also relieved it's over. Now he can focus on his health.' Justin's *NSYNC bandmate Chris Kirkpatrick, 53, recently praised his 'little bro' for battling through his illness to keep his tour goinng. He wrote on Instagram: 'Watching him battle Lyme disease day in and day out, while still getting on that stage night after night, was something I'll never forget.

Kelly Clarkson ‘will return to her talk show this autumn'

Bang Showbiz | Los Angeles Kelly Clarkson will reportedly return to her talk show this autumn. Following the death of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, speculation has been rife over whether the 43-year-old singer and television host will resume new episodes of her The Kelly Clarkson Show. But sources have now told TMZ she will be at work in September. Kelly's return comes after months of uncertainty about the future of the eponymous NBC talk show, which she stepped away from earlier this year to care for Brandon, who died on Thursday (07.08.25) at the age of 48. The talent manager passed away after a private, years-long battle with melanoma. A family representative said he died 'peacefully… surrounded by family' and asked for privacy during their difficult time. Sources told Page Six Kelly's absence from her show was marked by exhaustion and grief. They added: 'Kelly has been working so hard, as well as looking after Brandon. 'Despite their difficult divorce, he's still the man she loved and still her kids' father.' Kelly and Brandon divorced in 2022 after a protracted and contentious legal battle. During Kelly's absence from her show between February and March, guest hosts including Simu Liu, Roy Woods Jr. and Brooke Shields stepped in. Many questioned whether she would return at the time.

Jeremy Renner ‘handcuffed to the bed' to stop hospital escapes

Bang Showbiz | Los Angeles Jeremy Renner has revealed he had to be "handcuffed to the bed" to stop him from escaping the hospital after his near-fatal snowplough accident. The Hawkeye star, 54, suffered over 30 broken bones, a lacerated liver, and a collapsed lung in January 2023 when he was run over by his own snowplough. Despite his critical injuries, Renner admitted he was 'probably the worst patient ever' due to his repeated attempts to leave the hospital prematurely. Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live! with guest host Jelly Roll, Renner said: 'Oh, yeah — that's because I kept wanting to break out of the hospital. So these poor nurses, you can imagine, I'm kind of high on whatever they're feeding me. I got tubes and epidurals and nine things stuck in me — I'm dragging the machines in the bed. I'm walking on broken legs. I never even made it to the door but once, but they handcuffed me to the bed.' Once discharged, Renner's recovery at home came with another set of challenges — including intense hallucinations from the medication. 'That was at home… and yeah, that's when you know you're not feeling any pain,' he shared. Among the hallucinations: a full imaginary day spent with fellow actor Jamie Foxx. 'I was talking to objects and Jamie Foxx. He was there in my room. Then we got up and we went snowmobiling. All that happened in my mind. It didn't happen. It's good drugs,' Renner joked.
