True Beauty actor Cha Eun-woo to enlist in military on July 28: Agency
Cha Eun-woo, member of the K-pop group ASTRO and one of the most popular and sought-after Korean actors, is set to begin his mandatory military service. Earlier this month, it was reported that he had applied to serve in the Army Military Band. On May 29, his agency Fantagio confirmed that he has been officially accepted.In an official statement, Fantagio shared, "Cha Eun-woo applied to join the Army Military Band and received a final acceptance notice from the Military Manpower Administration today. The report came out on June 2 and revealed that she had filed for a court auction earlier in April. Allegedly according to the reports, the actress revealed that her landlord had refused to give her back the total sum from the key money deposit she made. The actress had been renting a villa in Gangnam, Seoul, whose landlord has refused to return her deposit. According to the key money deposit system that is extremely popular in Korea, the person wanting to live in a property gives a large percentage of the property's total value to the owner. This money is 'loaned' to the owner, who has to return the total sum once the contract is up. According to the reports, evidence from the Supreme Court showed that the actress had submitted the deposit amount back in April 2020. She had initially submitted 2.5 billion KRW to the landlord. The contract was renewed two years later, where the actress had also submitted the difference according to the increased deposit of 2.65 billion KRW. Seo Hyun Jin had registered her leaseholder's rights, yet still after the lease expired last year, the homeowner of the villa refused to rightfully return the deposits she had made.
