Nicole Kidman shares never-before-seen photos of her late mum and her daughters to mark Mother's Day

Daily Mail11-05-2025

Hollywood superstar Nicole Kidman took social media on Sunday to share a touching throwback picture of her late mum Janelle who passed away last year at age 84.
The Big little Lies star marked Mother's Day with the photo, which features the 57-year-old posing in front of Uluru alongside her beloved parent.
Also seen in the charming picture are Nicole's daughters Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 14, who were only toddlers when the photo was taken.
Nicole also shared another photo of Janelle walking with two of her granddaughters on a track near the Indigenous sacred site and famed tourist destination.
The Australian star shares Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret with her husband of 18 years Keith Urban.
She also share, Bella, 32, and Connor, 30, with her ex-husband Tom Cruise.
'My mother and my daughters in Uluru, beautiful memories…always Happy Mother's Day,' Nicole wrote in the caption.
it comes after it was claimed Keith is reportedly 'worried' and 'frustrated' his actress wife Nicole has gone back on her word to keep her work commitments light in 2025.
The hard-working star said at the premiere of her new film Holland she was only working on a thriller and a sequel to the streaming series Nine perfect Strangers.
After completing work on the projects, she said she would taking the rest of the year off to focus on herself and her family.
However, just weeks later, she was spotted filming on set of Margo's Got Money Troubles, with insiders revealing her that her husband is concerned she may be pushing herself too hard, reported New Idea.
'It's extraordinary. Not even a month later and already she's back on set. Keith isn't angry, but he's worried and understandably very frustrated,' the source claimed to the publication.
'He knows how much Nic loves her job, but she keeps moving the goal posts. Instead of putting herself first - something he and the kids need her to do - she's putting work first every time.
'Nicole's still not had a chance to recover from the shock of losing her mum [Janelle] in September - and with Keith on tour, he isn't around to make sure she's at least eating and sleeping right.'
The insider went on to say Nicole has been stretching herself thin with extra acting work, as well as being 'involved in fashion campaigns, charities and she's always there to help out her mates'.
They claimed while Nicole 'thrives on work' and uses it as an 'escape', her husband is fearful over 'how long she can keep up this pace and at what cost'.
Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Nicole and Keith's representatives for further comment.
Nicole and Keith boast a whole host of lavish properties in the US, where they are based with their two children.
Two years after tying the knot in 2008, the Aussie natives snapped up a sprawling 20-room Nashville mansion in the country music capital of the US.
Built on a 1115sqm estate, they shelled out $4.89million for the palatial property, which boasts seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
It also has lavish amenities including a tennis court, swimming pool, home theatre and 'hobby room'.
Nicole and Keith also own a $6.77million five-bedroom home in Beverly Hills, as well as a $13.53million designer duplex in Chelsea, New York.
They also own properties Down Under, including a $6.5million farmhouse in the Southern Highlands and two penthouses in Milson's Point in Sydney, which they lease out.

Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman join Australia SailGP team as co-owners

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman become co-owners of the Australia SailGP team on Thursday. The 'Deadpool & Wolverine' stars joined driver and CEO Tom Slingsby in leading the team's rebrand after several successful seasons, winning three championships in its four seasons. The team will be called the BONDS Flying Roos, with the Australian underwear company BONDS as its title partner. 'We're incredibly excited to set sail together in this new adventure," Reynolds and Jackman said in a joint statement released through SailGP. "Hugh brings a deep love for and pride in his home country, as well as being an avid fan of sailing. He will also be bringing his overly clingy emotional support human along for the ride. Apologies in advance to Australia. No comment on whether we're writing this in our BONDS. No further questions.' It's the latest sports venture for Reynolds, who along with fellow Hollywood actor Rob McElhenney is a co-owner of Wrexham, one of the world's oldest soccer clubs. Reynolds and McElhenney were also part of an investment group that acquired Colombian club La Equidad earlier this year. The BONDS Flying Roos SailGP Team is expected to make its debut at the Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix starting June 7. Slingsby, an Olympic gold medalist, said in a release that Jackman and Reynolds bring 'unmatched star power, a love for storytelling, and a sharp sense of (humor) that fits perfectly with our team." "With BONDS joining as our Title Partner and the launch of the BONDS Flying Roos," Slingsby added, "we're building something distinctly Australian; a team driven by spirit, resilience, and national pride.' ___
