The charity offers life-changing adaptive equipment through their three core programs — My Bike, My Stroller and My Voice.
The chief executive officer, Tom Baker, said the bikes are provided to children who were told they would not have the opportunity to ride a bike for most of their lives.

'For the first time to ride their bike with their brothers and sisters around the neighborhood, they're going to be able to ride a bike with neighbors and really get to enjoy a fully inclusive kind together life, and that's what it's all about,' said Baker.
A parade took place at the end of the presentation, allowing the children to try out their new rides.

Everything to Know About ‘The Last of Us' Season 3
The Last of Us, HBO's post-apocalyptic drama based on the PlayStation video game series of the same name, will return for a third season of mushroom monsters and character-driven storytelling. Like Season 2, Season 3 will be based on the game The Last of Us Part II, and tell the story from the perspective of Abby (Kaitlyn Dever), the traumatized soldier who (spoiler alert) tortured and killed Joel (Pedro Pascal) in front of his adopted daughter Ellie (Bella Ramsey) early in Season 2. Abby is a playable character in the game, so the shift in perspective is an established part of the story, and an important element in establishing its themes of empathy and forgiveness. While we wait for news about Season 3, which could take a long while to produce, here's what we know about The Last of Us Season 3 so far, including cast, story, and potential premiere date. More from GoldDerby Jay Duplass on exposing his 'dad bod' and playing a 'soft villain' in 'Dying for Sex': 'Easily one of my biggest acting challenges' 5 slots isn't enough: More limited series deserve a chance to compete with 'Adolescence' Laugh tracks: The state of the 2025 Emmy comedy race The Last of Us was officially renewed for Season 3 in April 2025, shortly before the Season 2 premiere. There was a more than two-year gap between Seasons 1 and 2, and while the gap between Seasons 2 and 3 is likely to be shorter — the delay was partially due to the 2023 writers' and actors' strikes — it's still going to be long. It's rare for productions as large and visual effects-intensive as The Last of Us to take less than 18 months between seasons. Meanwhile, showrunners Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann and executive producer Halley Gross are still in the process of writing Season 3, and no start-of-filming date has been announced, let alone a premiere date. It's unclear if Season 3 will be the final season, but whether it is or not, the producers hope to get it out into the world in a reasonable amount of time. 'It feels like we've got one or two more seasons,' Mazin told Variety ahead of the Season 2 premiere. 'It's getting harder to make, because every episode gets big. You don't want to wait four years for a 17-episode finish, or whatever it is.' Season 2 picks up about five years after the end of Season 1, when Joel massacred a hospital full of people in order to save Ellie, who is immune from the cordyceps infection that decimated humanity, from being killed so doctors could study her blood in order to find a cure. Ellie and Joel have found a home in the community of Jackson, Wyo., but their relationship has become strained because Joel lied to Ellie about what he did to save her. Ellie would like to forgive him, but doesn't know if she can. One day, during a simultaneous infected attack on Jackson, Abby, who is the daughter of the doctor Joel killed as he was about to operate on Ellie, and her crew of followers reach Jackson and capture Joel, Ellie, and Ellie's friend Dina (Isabela Merced). Abby kills Joel, and Ellie vows to get revenge (or justice, which is how she thinks of it) as Abby and her people leave. Ellie and Dina set out on a mission to find Abby, during the course of which they become a couple, Ellie reveals she's immune, and Dina reveals that she's pregnant. They track Abby to Seattle, where the paramilitary organization she's part of, the WLF, is involved in an ongoing conflict with a group of religious fanatics called the Seraphites. Ellie finds a member of Abby's group, Nora (Tati Gabrielle), and tortures her for Abby's whereabouts. Ellie ends up killing two more of Abby's friends, Owen (Spencer Lord) and Mel (Ariela Barer), the latter of whom was pregnant, before Abby finds her and Jesse (Young Mazino), the father of Dina's baby who has come from Jackson to help them. She kills Jesse, and as she's holding Ellie at gunpoint, we hear a shot ring out but don't see what happens. We then flash back to three days earlier, from Abby's point of view. Season 3 will primarily be told from Abby's point of view as she develops a friendship with Seraphite dissidents Yara and Lev while the WLF, led by ruthless pragmatist Isaac (Jeffrey Wright), prepares to attack the Seraphites' base. Dever, who was a guest star in Season 2, will become the show's lead, while Ramsey will shift to a supporting role for at least some of the season, though how much is still TBD. 'I think that I'm going to be there, but not a whole bunch,' Ramsey told Variety. 'We've had conversations about that. I sort of have a rough idea of what it's going to be, but I can't tell you.' Mazin said that how much already established characters like Ellie, Dina, Jesse, and Tommy (Gabriel Luna) will appear in Season 3 is still being worked out. 'All I can say is we haven't seen the last of Kaitlyn Dever and we haven't seen the last of Bella Ramsey, and we haven't seen the last of Isabela Merced, and we haven't seen the last of a lot of people who are currently dead in the story,' he said during a press conference for the Season 2 finale. Bella Ramsey and Kaitlyn Dever will of course return as Ellie and Abby, respectively. Isabela Merced will return as Dina and Gabriel Luna will return as Joel's brother Tommy. Jeffrey Wright will have a larger role as Isaac, who only appeared a few times in Season 2. Spencer Lord and Ariela Barer will also likely return, as Owen and Mel play important parts in Abby's story. But, again, the story for Season 3 is still being worked out, and the cast is officially unconfirmed. Season 3 will also introduce new characters, most importantly the aforementioned Yara and Lev, who have not been cast yet. Yara was played in the game by Victoria Grace, while Lev was played by Ian Alexander. It's possible that Pedro Pascal could return in flashbacks as Joel, but that's perhaps unlikely, as all of his important scenes from The Last of Us Part II were incorporated into Season 2. Like Seasons 1 and 2, Season 3 will air on HBO and be available to stream on HBO Max. Berkeley County cracks down on boat landing violations under new ordinance
BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) — A new ordinance aimed at improving safety at public boat landings is now being enforced across Berkeley County, and deputies say the community is already seeing results. The ordinance, which went into effect April 28, prohibits swimming within 50 feet of boat landings, alcohol consumption on site, blocking access to landings, and parking in trailer-designated spaces. Officials say those specific rules are designed to address ongoing concerns related to overcrowding, traffic congestion, and unsafe behavior. Chief Deputy Jeremy Baker with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office said the most common violations so far have involved parking and alcohol. 'Parking has been the number one violation that we've found,' Baker said. 'We have issued a lot of citations for improper parking at the boat landings. Hatchery Boat Landing was at capacity roughly four or five times where we were forced to close it.' Alcohol is also strictly prohibited at all public boat landings, and enforcement of that rule includes deputies on foot monitoring behavior up close. 'We have deputies who are getting out, walking, and just observing people attempting to consume alcohol,' Baker explained. The sheriff's office began enhanced enforcement efforts over Memorial Day weekend, deploying roughly 40 additional deputies in partnership with Santee Cooper law enforcement and the Department of Natural Resources. But Baker emphasized that the increased patrols are not limited to holiday weekends. 'This is going to be a consistent process through the entire summer and after the summer,' he said. Officials say the stepped-up enforcement is in direct response to community complaints and safety risks at some of the county's busiest recreational access points. 'It is very aggravating at times if you're trying to launch a boat and it's too crowded, or there's no parking because of parking violations,' said Baker. 'I think overall, we've seen a lot of happy residents because of it.' Local boaters like Davy Hite, who's been fishing and boating in the area for decades, say the new rules are necessary as crowds grow. 'You hate to have to have these strict rules, you want to go out and have a good time,' said Hite. 'But with population growth, I think it's real important to think about safety. With more people around these boat ramps, people swimming where boats are coming in and out, and use of alcohol and traffic, all those things, you just have to pay more attention.' Hite also emphasized the importance of following parking guidelines, something the ordinance now enforces more strictly. 'If people aren't aware of the way they should be parked, maybe one boat and trailer can take up five or six spots,' he said. 'If you use the parking spaces like they've asked you to, then it's better for everyone.' The sheriff's office has also launched a public awareness campaign, including a press conference and social media videos, to help residents and visitors understand the new rules. Officials say feedback has been overwhelmingly positive so far, and they hope continued compliance will lead to safer and more enjoyable experiences for everyone. Boaters are encouraged to review posted signage at boat landings and follow the ordinance to avoid citations and keep the areas open and safe for all. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. Aimee Lou Wood and Walton Goggins Deny ‘White Lotus' Feud Rumors
It's been two months since The White Lotus season 3 finale aired, and we finally have an answer to the show's most gripping cliffhanger: Why did Walton Goggins unfollow Aimee Lou Wood on Instagram? The actors, who starred as doomed lovers Rick and Chelsea in the most recent season of HBO's hit show, finally denied their rumored feud in a new joint interview with Variety. 'There is no feud,' Walton insisted. 'I adore, I love this woman madly, and she is so important to me.' He continued to praise her talent, comparing her to Goldie Hawn and Meg Ryan. 'She can do anything, and she will. You watch what the next 20 years of her experience will be,' he said. 'She's special. There is no feud. She is love and I know that I am that to her. We care about each other very deeply.' But what about the unfollowing on Instagram? The reposting of the SNL White Lotus sketch that made fun of Aimee's teeth? And the awkward interview where Walton apparently refused to talk about Aimee? There's an answer for all of it. Rumors of a feud were originally kickstarted in April by their White Lotus co-star Jason Isaacs, who suggested that 'friendships were lost' on the set, which then inspired internet sleuths to go look. Soon, fans realized that Walton and Aimee didn't follow each other on Instagram, despite following every other main cast member. It turns out there's a simple explanation for the unfollowing: Walton and Aimee simply don't care about social media! 'Why is everyone obsessing over Instagram? That is irrelevant,' Aimee told Variety. 'We don't give a shite about Instagram.' As for Goggins, he said that he unfollowed Aimee as a way of letting go of the character of Rick. 'My catharsis in this experience was different than other people's, because of my history in this place. I knew what we had gone through, and I knew how close that we had gotten, and I needed to begin to process saying goodbye to Rick and Chelsea,' he explained. 'And I knew that that was going to take a while for me, so I let her know, this is what I've gotta do. And she was extremely supportive about that.' Walton added that he took a step back from 'everyone' in the cast. 'I haven't spoken to anyone. I couldn't handle it. Judge me or don't. I don't give a fuck what you think. This is my process,' he continued. You might be wondering why, then, Walton didn't feel the need to unfollow the rest of the White Lotus cast. He didn't specifically answer this question, but he did say that he was closest to Aimee throughout production and that he kept his distance from group hangs on set. Make of that what you will. Per the article, Walton was exhausted, working on Fallout, when he saw the White Lotus skit and reposted it without knowing the context. When he found out the next day, he deleted the story because he did not mean to cause any harm. If he did, he said, we'd know. 'If I'm gonna say something, but I'm gonna say it to your face,' he insisted. 'I don't use social media in any way, and I'm not a mean guy.' Walton and Aimee's supposed feud made headlines in May after the actor refused to talk about their relationship in an interview with The Times. After the interviewer, Ed Potton, asked a few more times about Aimee, Walton abruptly ended the interview. He told Variety that he didn't want to speak for Aimee and alleged that the interviewer had rudely asked if he and Aimee had bonded over their teeth. 'What he was insinuating, it was so disgusting. It was so appalling. I was flabbergasted,' he said. Now that the feud rumors have been put to bed, it seems that Walton and Aimee are just as in awe of each other as their gushing social media posts would suggest. They even re-followed each other on Instagram mid-interview. 'It's all so ridiculous,' Walton said of the Instagram drama. 'It's just saying goodbye to this character so that now Aimee and I will be friends for fucking ever.'
