According to McKinsey & Company, nearly 70% of Gen Z respondents say that a brand's social and ethical values influence their purchasing decisions. As this generation increasingly fills roles in procurement, marketing, and leadership, purpose-driven branding is gaining traction not only in B2C sectors, but also within B2B partnerships.
"We're seeing a measurable shift in branding priorities from aesthetics and features to values and accountability," said Courtney Bozigian, Brand Strategist at Digital Silk. "Gen Z is steering organizations toward brands that align with social impact, transparency, and long-term value."
Values Now Shape Visibility and Trust
Gen Z's digital fluency and social consciousness are reshaping how brands present themselves. Companies that once highlighted technical advantages are now building brand equity through community support, sustainability initiatives, and clear purpose statements. This evolution is influencing how organizations are evaluated for partnerships, contracts, and consumer loyalty.

This BlackRock ETF Could Soar 12,770%, According to Billionaire Michael Saylor
Michael Saylor, the tech entrepreneur who founded the enterprise software provider Strategy (formerly known as MicroStrategy), has a net worth estimated at $9.3 billion. In the past few years, his focus has shifted to Bitcoin, the world's most valuable cryptocurrency. Saylor's business is now accumulating huge amounts of the digital asset. Based on his view that Bitcoin could skyrocket to $13 million per unit by 2045, Saylor is also implying that this popular exchange-traded fund (ETF), sponsored by giant asset manager BlackRock, also has 12,770% upside from today's price. Here's what investors need to know if they are even remotely interested in boosting their portfolio returns. Where to invest $1,000 right now? Our analyst team just revealed what they believe are the 10 best stocks to buy right now. Learn More » A clear path to $13 million No one can deny that Bitcoin has been the best-performing asset over the past decade, a period that saw its price soar by 41,820%. Investors who missed the boat might want to heed Saylor's forecast. The billionaire believes that Bitcoin will reach $13 million in 20 years, using his base case. As of June 23, it's trading at $101,000, so Saylor's prediction implies a 129-fold gain. The crypto has a fixed supply of 21 million coins. Saylor believes this key feature will make the digital asset more widely held in the future. In theory, capital will flow from other asset classes -- like bonds, equities, and real estate -- into Bitcoin. The base case calls for 7% of global wealth to find its way to the digital token, strong demand that will drive the price higher. Investors must realize that while this kind of price target gets a lot of attention, since it shows an annualized return of 27.5%, it's important to understand that no one knows what the future will hold. This is especially true with something like Bitcoin, which is still a relatively new phenomenon in the world of finance. At the end of the day, what really matters is if you're bullish on Bitcoin or not. Michael Saylor is perhaps the biggest Bitcoin bull ever. In 2020, following the onset of the pandemic and the unprecedented levels of government stimulus, Saylor completely altered his company's blueprint, with the sole intention of buying and holding as much Bitcoin as possible. Strategy now owns 592,000 Bitcoins, making it the single biggest non-ETF holder in the world. An easy way to gain exposure to Bitcoin In a seminal moment for the crypto industry, the Securities and Exchange Commission finally approved spot Bitcoin ETFs in January 2024. These products were a monster hit, but the BlackRock iShares Bitcoin Trust (NASDAQ: IBIT) quickly became the most successful. As of June 23, 2025, it had $71 billion in assets. This ETF owns Bitcoin. As a result, its price is meant to track the price movement of the crypto. However, it's crucial that investors know that by owning the ETF, they don't directly own the digital coin. That might not matter, given that the ETF provides accessibility and convenience in a regulatory-compliant way. Investors can buy the iShares Bitcoin Trust in their traditional brokerage accounts. Even better, there's no need to open a wallet or account specifically for cryptocurrencies. This draws capital from investors who want a seamless option. There is a cost, but it's low at an expense ratio of 0.25%. For institutional investors like hedge funds, pension funds, or sovereign wealth funds, this is a small price to pay for operating within their mandates. At least they now have access to a wildly successful investment opportunity. Should Bitcoin one day reach Saylor's $13 million price prediction by soaring 12,770% in 20 years, the iShares Bitcoin Trust should also register a similar gain. Should you invest $1,000 in iShares Bitcoin Trust right now? Before you buy stock in iShares Bitcoin Trust, consider this: The Motley Fool Stock Advisor analyst team just identified what they believe are the 10 best stocks for investors to buy now… and iShares Bitcoin Trust wasn't one of them. Here Are My Top 3 Energy Dividend Stocks to Buy Now
The energy sector can be a great spot to shop for dividend stocks. Many energy companies generate lots of cash flow, even during periods of commodity price volatility. That gives them the funds to pay lucrative dividends while investing to grow their operations. Brookfield Renewable (NYSE: BEPC)(NYSE: BEP), ConocoPhillips (NYSE: COP), and Energy Transfer (NYSE: ET) are my top three energy dividend stocks to buy right now. Here's what makes them such attractive income options. Where to invest $1,000 right now? Our analyst team just revealed what they believe are the 10 best stocks to buy right now. Continue » Powerful income growth Brookfield Renewable is one of the largest renewable energy producers in the world. The company has a global business spanning hydro, wind, solar, and energy storage. It sells the power it produces under long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) with utilities and large corporate customers, most of which link rates to inflation. As a result, Brookfield generates stable and steadily rising cash flow to support its nearly 5% yielding dividend. The company has grown its payout at a 6% compound annual rate since 2001. It expects to increase its dividend by 5% to 9% per year in the future. Brookfield should have plenty of power to achieve dividend growth within that target range. Inflation-linked PPAs should add 2%-3% to its funds from operations (FFO) per share each year. On top of that, Brookfield expects margin enhancement activities such as securing higher market rates as legacy PPAs expire to add another 2% to 4% to its FFO per share each year. Meanwhile, the company has a large pipeline of renewable energy projects, which should boost its FFO per share by another 4% to 6% each year. Brookfield also has the financial flexibility to make accretive acquisitions, which it anticipates will help push its FFO per-share growth rate above 10% annually. A low-cost, cash-gushing oil company ConocoPhillips has built one of the world's lowest-cost oil and gas producers. CEO Ryan Lance noted on the company's first-quarter earnings conference call in early May: "We have a deep, durable, and diverse portfolio. We have decades of inventory below our $40 per barrel WTI [West Texas Intermediate] cost-to-supply threshold, both in the U.S. and internationally." The company also has a disciplined capital allocation framework that Lance said is "battle-tested through the cycles." On top of that, it has an A-rated balance sheet, giving it tremendous financial flexibility. Those factors put its dividend (which yields more than 3% right now) on a rock-solid foundation. ConocoPhillips has been growing its payout at a well-above-average rate, which it expects will continue. It aims to deliver dividend growth within the top 25% of companies in the S&P 500 in the future. Fueling that growth is its combination of short-cycle development (U.S. shale) and long-cycle investments (Alaska and LNG). ConocoPhillips expects those long-cycle investments to fuel an incremental $6 billion in annual free cash flow by 2029, putting it on track to deliver sector-leading growth. A passive-income juggernaut Energy Transfer operates one of the country's largest energy midstream businesses. It transports, processes, stores, and exports various hydrocarbons. Most of its assets generate predictable fee-based cash flow (roughly 90% of its earnings). The master limited partnership (MLP), which sends investors a Schedule K-1 Federal Tax Form each year, so investors need to be comfortable with the extra paperwork,, distributes about half its stable cash flow to investors via a payout that currently yields more than 7%. It retains the rest to fund growth projects and maintain its financial flexibility. Energy Transfer is investing $5 billion into growth capital projects this year. Most of those projects will enter commercial service by the end of next year, fueling incremental earnings growth in 2026 and 2027. The MLP has several more expansion projects under development. It also has a long history of making accretive acquisitions. Its growth investments fuel the view that it can increase its high-yielding payout at a 3% to 5% annual rate in the coming years. Ample fuel to pay growing dividends Brookfield Renewable, ConocoPhillips, and Energy Transfer generate lots of cash flow. That gives them the funds to pay above-average dividends that they steadily grow. That combination of income and growth is why they're my top dividend stocks to buy in the sector. Should you invest $1,000 in Brookfield Renewable right now? Could Buying AST SpaceMobile Stock Today Set You Up for Life?
AST SpaceMobile (NASDAQ: ASTS) is an exciting stock. It has such an interesting story backing it that some investors might wonder if buying in now could help to set them up for life. That is possible, but there's one small problem that you need to consider before stepping in here. This is what you need to know about AST SpaceMobile before you buy it. What does AST SpaceMobile do? AST SpaceMobile operates a satellite-based broadband cellular network. It is really just starting to build out that network, but it has some of the most important markets covered. That list includes the United States, Europe, and Japan. When it actually turns the network on, it should be ready to hit the ground running. One of the key features of AST SpaceMobile's business model is that it is working in partnership with some of the world's largest telecom companies. That list includes both AT&T and Verizon Communications. These providers have massive customer bases, to which they will market AST SpaceMobile's service as an add-on. The benefit is that satellite access, using a customer's existing cellphone, ensures phone service in virtually all locations. The longer-term goal for AST SpaceMobile is to provide worldwide coverage. Essentially, with no additional outlay for technology, a cellphone customer will eventually be able to ensure they have access to the internet and communications networks the world over. All it will require to take advantage of that "insurance" is a monthly fee, though there are also likely to be other options for those who only need such coverage for a short duration of time. This is a compelling story and hints that there could be a huge amount of growth ahead. That will first come from simply rolling out the service in currently covered regions. But then it will expand as AST SpaceMobile's satellite network grows over time. The problem with AST SpaceMobile So that's the glass-half-full view of things, and it is a compelling story for investors to consider. But there are always caveats to think about, and there are two big ones with AST SpaceMobile. First, launching satellites into space is not a cheap or easy thing to do. Execution will be very important. However, AST SpaceMobile only directly controls just so much of its business on this front. Even if it can build new satellites at a rapid clip, it has to get them launched into space by a third party. It's possible for spaceships to blow up, destroying their contents. A big disaster on that front would be a costly setback for AST SpaceMobile, even though it had little control over the outcome of the launch event. And that assumes that AST SpaceMobile executes very well on what it can control, which isn't a given. Second, and perhaps more worrying, is the fact that Wall Street is clearly aware of the opportunity AST SpaceMobile presents. The stock is up more than 400% over the past year, and by nearly 600% over the past three years. Even as the stock has risen in meteoric fashion, the company still has yet to turn a profit. ASTS data by YCharts. It looks like Wall Street may already be pricing in a lot of good news here. In fact, the recent stock price advance has been so swift that it hints that investors may have gotten a little overenthusiastic about the company's prospects. Sure, the long-term opportunity could be huge, but how much of that appeal has already been baked into the share price? A price-to-earnings ratio of roughly 20 would require earnings of around $2 per share, which seems like an unlikely outcome over the near term given the large need for capital investments (to build and launch additional satellites). AST SpaceMobile is expensive So there's no question that AST SpaceMobile, assuming it executes well, has a very attractive story behind it. That's not the problem with the stock. The problem is that Wall Street often gets a story in its teeth and runs too far and too fast with it. That seems like it might be happening with AST SpaceMobile right now. If you buy it, remember that it is still just a start-up company. You may have to stick around for a long time to benefit given the swift price advance already experienced by the shares. Worse, you may have to sit through a deep drawdown if there are any setbacks, or if the business doesn't develop quickly enough for Wall Street. In other words, AST SpaceMobile is probably only appropriate for more aggressive investors with a very long-term investment horizon. Should you invest $1,000 in AST SpaceMobile right now? Before you buy stock in AST SpaceMobile, consider this: The Motley Fool Stock Advisor analyst team just identified what they believe are the 10 best stocks for investors to buy now… and AST SpaceMobile wasn't one of them.
