Suzanne Somers' widow Alan Hamel is dating the late actress' Hollywood Wives co-star Joanna Cassidy.
The Three's Company star had been married to producer Alan, 88, for 36 years when she passed away on October 15 2023, at the age of 76, following a battle with breast cancer.
However, almost two years on from her death, Alan has a new woman in his life in Joanna, 79, who starred alongside his late wife in the miniseries based on the 1983 novel of the same name by Jackie Collins.
Confirming his new romance with the New York Post's Page Six column, he admitted: 'I don't know where this relationship is going."
The new couple were photographed arm-in-arm in Malibu on Monday (23.06.25).
Alan added: 'I have known Joanna Cassidy for over 45 years.
'Joanna was a guest star on [daytime talk show] 'The Alan Hamel Show' in Canada in the '70s. She was a great guest and it was a dynamic show, and we liked each other, not romantically, but mainly with respect. Both of us were married at the time.'
Alan previously recalled that despite his and Suzanne's "mad fights", they would never put a stop to their love.
He told Page Six: "For the first few years of our love affair, we fought like mad dogs. But we always returned to our passionate love for one another. After one of our fights, Suzanne said to me, 'No matter how bad it gets, let's never break up.' And we never did."
The TV host recalled that he and Suzanne would always hold hands when they were asleep and he would spend the early morning just admiring her before she woke up.
He said: "We always went to sleep every night holding hands, and in the morning I would always awaken a few minutes before Suzanne and I would just lie there, staring at her beautiful face."
Meanwhile, Alan previously revealed that he had been getting signs from Suzanne and eventually accepted that she was "safe" in the afterlife.
He told Fox News Digital: "One day I'm in the kitchen with my family, and all of a sudden, Suzanne's favorite song comes on the audio system; the audio system wasn't even turned on. It's a Latin song, and it's written and performed by someone no one's ever heard of. It's a song we used to dance to in the kitchen. It just came on all by itself. And then, when it was over, that was it. The audio system stayed off.
"Later that day, the fireplace started by itself.
"It stayed on for an hour and then it turned off.
"Then one day, a hummingbird flew into our house. It goes to our little breakfast nook where there's a photograph of Suzanne and me where we're looking at each other. The hummingbird hovers in between our two faces. Then it flies up and sits on top of the photo.
"A few weeks later, I opened all the doors and windows and I saw the same hummingbird – they all have very distinctive colorings… I walked over and extended my hands. The hummingbird jumps into my hands, and she tucks in her little feet. All I felt was her belly. She felt safe."

Guests ‘booted' from luxe Venice hotel for Jeff Bezos' wedding

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez are staying at the super luxe Aman Venice, and have reportedly rented the entire place for the stay. A spy told Page Six in advance of the couple's arrival, '10 or 12 security guys were doing a sweep' through the luxury property 'They were looking in cabinets and checking out the courtyard,' the insider said. A source said the scene in the lobby was 'chaotic,' and they were asking people if they were staying at the hotel. An insider also told the outlet 'guests who had previously booked [at] the hotel for Wednesday night a long time in advance were booted once Bezos rented the entire space a few months ago.' 'Those guests are being moved to other hotels including the St. Regis,' the source said. 'Aman is paying for their rooms in addition to comping a night of their stay and offering upgrades.' 'Some are griping that they have to pack up, take transport [Aman provided] and unpack again.' Sources told the publication there's a wing of the hotel for celebs that's hidden from photographers, and guests have included Kylie Jenner in the past. At other ritzy Venice spots, security was also being beefed up as A-listers arrived for Bezos and Sanchez's opulent Italian wedding. An insider said guests checking in were asked to wait outside. 'They were holding people at the door and one more cop was stationed outside,' the source said. 'It seemed like maybe someone important was checking in. The manager was making sure that even those who had luggage had reservations. 'One member of the family was let inside to check in while the others waited.' A source said the police presence was 'not normal,' for the hotel, where rooms go for nearly $US2000 ($A3077) per night. Another group who had lunch reservations at the spot's restaurant, Gio's, were also made to wait. Once inside, no celebs were spotted, though two anonymous men were being given a tour of the bar and first floor area. One local told Page Six they were surprised to see a boat filled with police out on the water. Reuters reported a wedding party for the power couple was 'moved to an isolated, less accessible part of the lagoon city on security concerns and to prevent the risk of protests'. It is reported they had originally planned to hold the fête in Cannaregio, but changed plans in light of protests held by groups under the banner of 'No space for Bezos,' who've threatened to throw themselves into canals and block streets to shut down the wedding due in protest of tourism. Then again, security is part of the Amazon billionaire's daily life. Bezos reportedly spent $US1.6 million in 2023 on security, and he had $US180,000 bullet proof glass panels put into his office in 2019. High-profile guests expected at the wedding include Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Barbra Streisand and Leonardo DiCaprio, among others. Suzanne Somers' widow confirms romance with her former co-star Joanna Cassidy

Alan Hamel is dating Joanna Cassidy – the former co-star of his late wife, Suzanne Somers – he exclusively tells Page Six. 'I don't know where this relationship is going,' he says of his tryst with the 'extremely accomplished' actress. Hamel, 88, was photographed arm in arm with Cassidy, 79 – whom he tells us he's known for decades – in Malibu, California, earlier this week. They were wearing matching Malibu Beach Inn baseball caps as they grabbed lunch at Broad Street Oyster Company. 'I have known Joanna Cassidy for over 45 years,' the Canadian film producer explains when we reached out for comment. 'Joanna was a guest star on [daytime talk show] The Alan Hamel Show in Canada in the '70s. She was a great guest and it was a dynamic show, and we liked each other, not romantically, but mainly with respect. Both of us were married at the time.' He says the duo crossed paths again when Cassidy and Somers starred together in the 1985 miniseries Hollywood Wives. 'I ran into her in the mid-'80s many times during the production of Jackie Collins' Hollywood Wives,' he recalls. 'It was very cordial.' As for how the pair reconnected, Hamel explains that his son, Stephen, played matchmaker. 'My son met Joanna at a screening and after a long conversation suggested to Joanna that she and me would get along and should meet. Stephen did not know we knew each other.' Hamel knows he has the blessing of Somers – who died of cancer in October 2023, one day before her 77th birthday – since in her final days she urged him to move on from her. 'Don't mope around,' he recalls her telling him. 'Live your life. We will see one another after you cross over.' While Hamel isn't sure where his romance with Cassidy will go, he has nothing but praise for the former model. 'Joanna is extremely accomplished,' he gushes. 'She is easily the hardest-working and most active actress in Hollywood for well over 50 years. She's a great mother to her adult children, turns up for many fundraisers for first responders and is staff for her four cats. She is no Hollywood BS, and we laugh a lot.' The former TV host says of his current relationship, 'I'm fortunate to have Joanna in my life. Most men would love to have a Joanna in their life. I do not know where this relationship is going, but what I do know is that being in the cocktail hour of my life, I am blessed with a magnificent family – thanks to incredible Suzanne – a privileged life, and our business that we created 50 years ago.' Hamel unveiled his wife's headstone at Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City, California, in October 2024 to mark the first anniversary of her passing. Cassidy – who also starred in movies from Blade Runner to Who Killed Roger Rabbit – was previously married to Dr. Kennard  Kobrin. They divorced in 1974, but never remarried.
