Wyndham Clark on magic of Augusta and studying Tiger Woods' approach
Wyndham Clark joins Sports Seriously to talk about the Masters and how he's studied Tiger Woods' success there over the years.
The Masters Par 3 Contest will take place at noon on Wednesday before the first round of the 89th edition of the Masters, helping to ease the tension before the tournament gets underway on Thursday.
The Par 3 Contest is a beloved tradition that has been held since 1960. The course, designed by George Cobb and Cliff Roberts, is situated around DeSoto Springs Pond and Ike's Pond. The event features a single round on a nine-hole, par-27 course and is known for its fun and relaxed atmosphere. Tournament participants and past champions are encouraged to invite their families, including children and grandchildren dressed in miniature Augusta National jumpsuits, who often serve as caddies and sometimes get the opportunity to chip or putt themselves.
Last year, Rickie Fowler won the competition with a score of 5-under par (22). Here is everything to know about the 2025 Masters Par 3 Contest and how to watch:

How does the Masters Par 3 Contest work?
The winner of the Par 3 Contest is determined by the golfer who has the best score in relation to par after completing nine holes. This means that the player's score is compared to the par for each hole, and the contestant with the lowest total score wins. In 2024, Rickie Fowler won the contest with a score of 5-under, 22.
In the 60 years since the Par 3 Contest began, no player has ever won both the Par 3 and the Masters tournament in the same year.
