Brooklyn Beckham 'wants no contact' with David and Victoria and refuses to respond to messages

Daily Recorda day ago

Brooklyn Beckham is said to have told David and Victoria Beckham he wants "no contact" with them as the bitter feud with his parents and siblings escalates and he's reportedly not responding to their messages
Brooklyn Beckham's reported ongoing feud with his parents appears to have escalated. It comes following claims that he no longer wishes to maintain contact with dad David or mum Victoria. Victoria Beckham and David's eldest son, who is allegedly embroiled in a bitter feud with his family over his wife Nicola Peltz, is reported to be ignoring their attempts to communicate.
David, 50, is set to receive a knighthood in the King's Birthday Honours list this week, which will see Victoria become Lady Beckham. However, it's reported that Brooklyn was not informed about the honour by his dad, instead learning of it through the media.

Insiders close to Brooklyn, 26, told Page Six that he was delighted for his father's long-awaited recognition, understanding its significance.

However, another source close to the Beckhams told the publication: "Brooklyn told his family he wants no contact and he's not responding to those that try to connect," reports the Mirror.
Yet another source linked to Brooklyn refuted these claims, stating: "Everyone's focus should be David Beckham's great honour."
It comes following Brooklyn's stern message to his famous parents and siblings last month, where he pledged his unwavering loyalty to his wife Nicola amid allegations that she has been the root cause of the family's bubbling feud.
A video was shared on his Instagram page, showing Brooklyn revving a motorbike alongside Nicola in Beverly Hills, with the caption: "My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you're the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby."
The post seemed to be a clear reference to the ongoing family dispute. This is the first public stance either Brooklyn or Nicola has taken regarding the reported rift within the Beckham clan.

Just a few weeks prior, the couple was missing from David's lavish 50th birthday bash, completely bypassing the event in a decision that reportedly left the Beckhams not only wounded but deeply concerned.
Family insiders have since suggested that David and Victoria's eldest son is being 'held hostage' by his spouse. "Brooklyn is now being referred to as 'the hostage.' He is in a situation where those who love Brooklyn fear that he is being controlled by Nicola and it is heartbreaking," an insider revealed to Mail Online.

Sources indicate that David and Victoria have essentially cut ties with Nicola due to what they perceive as continuous tension and estrangement since her and Brooklyn's £3 million nuptials in April 2022 at her family's $76 million Palm Beach estate.
The couple's repeated absences and failure to attend family events have led to the conclusion that they are now estranged from their eldest son. Brooklyn and Nicola not only missed David's birthday celebration, but also a series of family occasions including a casual get-together at the Beckhams' Cotswolds retreat, a holiday in France, a dinner at the high-end London restaurant Core, and even a fScots fishing trip with David and brothers Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 19.
Brooklyn was also absent from a pre-birthday party held in Miami at Cipriani in March. His social circle has seen changes as well, he was once close to Gordon Ramsay's son Jack and Rocco Ritchie, son of director Guy Ritchie. However, according to reports, Brooklyn no longer spends time with them either.

Mark Wright apologises for 'horrendous' Insta post after Air India plane crash

Mark Wright has apologised after sharing a post about a flight home from a holiday with Michelle Keegan on the same day as the news of the Air India plane crash Mark Wright has apologised after sharing a post that was deemed insensitive in the wake of the Air India plane crash. He's since deleted the post and said in a statement on his Instagram Stories that it had been a "horrendous coincidence". Mark, 38, and Michelle Keegan, also 38, have been sharing content on Instagram from a holiday to Spain lately. The couple, who were joined by some of his family on the trip, took their three-month-old baby Palma abroad for the first time. They are understood to have already returned to the UK and earlier today Mark is said to have shared a photo of the trio in front of a private jet at an airport. He reportedly teased over having limited leg room on standard flights in the post. ‌ ‌ The Heart radio host is said to have been met with a backlash over the post amid the news of the Air India flight, which went down shortly after take-off from Ahmedabad. It had been bound for Gatwick Airport in London. Mark has since apologised for the "mistake," telling fans that he had scheduled the post, which has now been deleted, in advance. He shared a statement on his Instagram Story, in which he said it had been a "horrendous coincidence". He wrote: "I apologise for a post I just put up on my page after today's heartbreaking events. I have posts from a holiday that are on the scheduled setting, which go out on future days I have set them for which was done last week." Mark continued the statement by saying that it was a "coincidence" that it had gone out on the same day as the Air India crash. He told fans that as soon as he realised what had happened, he "immediately" deleted the post. He added in the message to his followers this evening: "It's a horrendous coincidence that today's post was on such a devastating day. Once I logged in to my Instagram and realised the post had gone out, I immediately deleted [it]." The former TOWIE star concluded by expressing sympathy with anyone affected by the plane crash. He wrote: "My heart goes out to everyone who has been effected from today. I'm sorry for this mistake and any offence caused." ‌ According to the Sun, Mark had teased over not having extra leg room on the flight home from his holiday with Michelle and their daughter in the post. Seemingly teasing over them not travelling on a private plane, he's said to have written: "1 day babe, for now we'll take row 26 with no extra leg room." The outlet reports that some of his followers were quick to question the post given the news of the Air India flight. One person is said to have responded to him: "Not really appropriate to put this up after today's plane crash." Another is quoted as having said: "Prob not the best day to post this when so many people lost their lives on a plane." Whilst a third person reportedly responded to Mark's now-deleted post at the time: "Poor taste given today's event."
