Maple Leafs sign forward Nicholas Robertson to one-year contract extension
The 23-year-old from Pasedena, Calif., scored 15 goals and had seven assists in 69 games for Toronto this past season. Robertson also had a goal and an assist in three playoff games for the Maple Leafs.
The five-foot-nine, 178-pound forward has played 156 career NHL games, all with Toronto, and compiled 32 goals and 24 assists.
He has two goals and an assist in 13 career playoff games.
Robertson was Toronto's second-round pick (53rd overall) in the 2019 NHL Draft.

VANCOUVER – The Vancouver Canucks have signed forward Vitali Kravtsov to a one-year, two-way contract, the NHL club announced Tuesday. The 25-year-old had 58 points (27 goals, 31 assists) in 66 games with Traktor Chelyabinsk of the Russia-based Kontinental Hockey League last season. He added six goals and an assist in 19 playoff games, helping Chelyabinsk reach the Gagarin Cup final. The six-foot-three, 186-pound forward has six goals and six assists in 64 NHL games with the New York Rangers and Canucks over the 2020-21 and 2022-23 seasons. Kravtsov was originally selected by the Rangers in the first round, ninth overall, in the 2018 NHL draft.
