Reeves will play the role of the host and executive producer, bringing his own KR+SH production company to partner with North One. Given the impact of his Disney+ docuseries on Brawn GP's story, Reeves comes with the perfect credentials to spotlight the story of Cadillac's F1 entry. Speaking on the project, Reeves said:
"I'm very honored and excited to be a part of telling the remarkable Cadillac Formula 1 Team story and its incredible journey into the world of Formula 1 racing," said Reeves.
"Our goal with the docuseries is to bring audiences into the heart of this journey and showcase what it takes to participate in one of the most exclusive sports arenas in the world."
Dan Towriss, CEO of TWG Motorsports and the Cadillac Formula 1 Team, said:
"This is a story of bold ambition and relentless drive. We're honored to work with Keanu, whose passion and knowledge of racing runs deep, and proud to partner with GM on this incredible story.
"We have an opportunity to welcome a new generation of fans to Formula 1 and Keanu's creativity is the perfect spark to ignite that journey."
Mark Reuss, GM President, added:
"General Motors and TWG Motorsports joined forces on a bold mission – to build a uniquely American Formula 1 team.
"It's a thrill to have Keanu Reeves document the Cadillac Formula 1 Team's journey to our first season in the FIA Formula One World Championship."
The docuseries promises "an intimate look at the unique challenges of assembling a competitive team on an accelerated timeline" and boldly aims to showcase "a first-hand account of the vision behind establishing a distinctly American presence in a sport long dominated by European powerhouses."

Two Georgia Bulldogs make freshman All-American team

Georgia football will have to rely on some young players contributing to reach their goals for the season. On3 dropped their freshman All-American team and Georgia has two players on that list. On offense, offensive lineman Juan Gaston was a selection. The freshman is listed at 6-foot-7, 360-pounds is in a three-man competition for the starting right guard job. Gaston has amazing size and head coach Kirby Smart has said that he has been getting into better shape since being an early enrollee. Gaston was ranked a five-star recruit and the nation's No. 18 ranked player, per 247Sports. On defense, highly-touted defensive lineman Elijah Griffin was another Georgia freshman All-American selection. The 6-foot-4, 310-pound defensive lineman already has drawn comparisons to Georgia great and All-Pro defensive tackle Jalen Carter. Griffin is the headliner of this freshmen class that could see several key contributors for the Bulldogs. Expect to see Griffin, a former five-star recruit, to put his talent on display on Saturday for the Bulldogs early and often. Griffin was ranked as the consensus No. 1 defensive lineman and a top-five recruit across all recruiting services. Three Georgia Bulldogs also earned USA TODAY Sports preseason All-American honors.

Ex-NFL fullback earns UFC contract, rips 'liberal, snowflake' league

Josh Hokit, a former NFL fullback, took a swipe at the league on Tuesday night as he earned a UFC contract on Dana White's Contender Series. Hokit knocked out Guilherme Uriel in the second round of their bout to earn a UFC contract on the show. He nailed Uriel with a few elbows while the Brazilian fighter's back was on the mat. The referee had to stop the fight. After the fight, Hokit cut a pro wrestling-style promo on the NFL. "I left the liberal, snowflake NFL to do a real man's sport in a real man's promotion and here I am doing just that by earning this UFC contract," he said. "I've been chewed up and spit out and I continue to find a way and I will find a way to that UFC gold. Mark my words." Hokit, in an American flag bandanna, also said he wants the UFC to line up pedophiles, sex traffickers, rapists and transgender fighters as his next opponents. "Me and my new business partner, Dana White, have decided to get rid of this unentertaining heavyweight division, and instead, we're going to create 'The Incredible Hok' division but my opponents won't be these lazy, boring, heavyweights," he said. "My opponents will be sex traffickers, pedophiles, rapists, hell you can even throw the transgenders in there. Line them all up, and one by one, I give them a good ol' American beatdown inside the octagon to show the world that there's consequences for these types of behaviors in America." Hokit never played a down in the NFL regular season. He joined the San Francisco 49ers in 2020 and was on the team's practice squad. He also competed for a spot on the Arizona Cardinals' roster in 2022. He's undefeated in his MMA career. He had two wins in Bellator before he moved to the Legacy Fighting Alliance. The fight against Uriel was the first tied to the UFC.

Valtteri Bottas inching closer to F1 return, per report

Earlier this month, reporting surfaced that the incoming Cadillac Formula 1 team had reached an agreement with veteran driver Sergio Pérez to fill one of their two available seats for next season. Now, a similar report has surfaced regarding veteran Valtteri Bottas. According to a story from PlanetF1, the outlet that published the earlier report regarding Pérez, Bottas 'is understood to be on the verge of signing a deal' with the incoming Cadillac operation, which joins the grid as the 11th team for next season. While PlanetF1 reports that Bottas has not put pen to paper on a contract as of yet, 'multiple sources have indicated' to the outlet that 'talks have reached a common ground,' and the driver 'is in the final stages of reaching an agreement with Cadillac before putting pen to paper on a deal.' Bottas sparked rumors of a move to Cadillac himself earlier this summer with a humorous post on social media, where he marveled at a Cadillac SUV and the 'nice seat' that was available: An experienced F1 driver, Bottas first debuted on the grid during the 2013 season with Williams. He spent four years on the grid with Williams, securing his maiden F1 podium at the 2014 Austrian Grand Prix with a third-place finish. He moved to Mercedes for the 2017 season, scoring his first F1 win at the 2017 Russian Grand Prix. Bottas was part of a Mercedes team that, along with Lewis Hamilton, delivered Constructors' Championship titles in each of his five seasons with the team, running from 2017 through the 2021 campaign. When Mercedes tapped George Russell as Hamilton's teammate for the 2022 campaign, Bottas moved to Alfa Romeo, which rebranded as Sauber for the 2024 season. Sauber replaced both Bottas and Zhou Guanyu ahead of the current campaign, and Bottas returned to Mercedes in a reserve role for this season. Over his long F1 career, Bottas has ten wins, 20 pole positions, and 67 podium finishes. Could his next podium come at Cadillac?
