Video of Rescue Dog Settling in Forever Home With a Senior Dog Is Everything
Videos of rescue dogs finding their forever homes never fail to tug at the heartstrings, and CiCi's story is no exception. TikTok creator and dog lover Eddie — @eddienchooch215 — recently shared a touching video of how he rescued CiCi, a stray dog he found while on vacation in Puerto Rico, and how she has since settled into his Philadelphia home with his senior pup, Chooch.
The video begins with a clip of Eddie discovering CiCi on a beach in Puerto Rico, offering her fresh water and care. It then transitions to heartwarming moments between CiCi and Chooch, his 8-year-old American Bully, as they bond and adjust to their new life together. The two dogs quickly grow close, even curling up to sleep in the same bed. Overlayed text in the video reads, 'They say you don't always get the dog you want, but you get the dog you need… Chooch, my senior dog, needed her the most.' It continues, 'There was a reason she followed us on that beach in Puerto Rico that day.'
Last May, while vacationing in Puerto Rico, Eddie and his girlfriend, Krystal, crossed paths with a black-and-white stray dog. As they hiked to a beach, the pup appeared out of nowhere and eagerly led them straight to the shore. Eddie recorded their first encounter, showing CiCi joyfully playing in the water and following them all the way back to their car. Though they initially parted ways, Eddie couldn't stop thinking about her. His TikTok followers felt the same, urging him to adopt the pup — and ultimately, he knew he had to bring CiCi home.
With the help of Souls of Satos, a local dog rescue organization, Eddie returned to the area where he had first met CiCi. After searching for hours, he finally found her in a nearby neighborhood. From there, the adoption process began, and Eddie documented every step for his TikTok followers.
When CiCi arrived in Philadelphia, Eddie introduced her to her new family, including his senior dog. According to Eddie, CiCi quickly bonded with Chooch and now follows him everywhere. 'She's playful and full of love,' he says, according to TODAY. 'She's definitely a shadow.'

Your Ultimate Summer Love Horoscope Is Here: What Jupiter In Cancer Means For Your Sign
Home is where the heat is in summer 2025. In June, Jupiter—the planet of growth, generosity, and faith—settles into cozy, intimate Cancer for the first time in more than 10 years. If you're hoping to cultivate true romance, you'll be more successful at the crib than the club. Straighten up your bedroom, and keep a few aphrodisiacs like chocolate, pistachios, and honey in the snack cupboard. You can read your daily horoscope here A sentimental water sign, Cancer is deeply private. During this 13-month transit, the magic happens in quiet moments. A safe space is a must, which means both finding and being a trustworthy person. (Read: Someone who doesn't spill the details of every erotic encounter across TikTok.) Nostalgia is big this summer with Jupiter in Cancer giving 'childhood sweetheart' vibes. No, you don't have to dig up your eighth-grade crush on the socials. That said, it wouldn't be the worst idea. Jupiter is the zodiac's 'why not?' gambler, prone to peeking in places that make your heart skip a beat. If you have a 'one that got away,' consider following the above advice, too. Heartfelt reunions could lead to second chances this summer. Even if that ship has sailed, look around for someone who has your ex's best qualities. You could discover them in a new package. Selena Gomez, who has her sun sign in Cancer, basically set the template for us already. Opting for fiancé Benny Blanco's squishy brand of adoration, she made a sharp departure from her brooding bad-boy exes. While she's dated Pisces (Blanco's sign) in the past, only her current partner is devoted to prepping all her favorite meals for her to eat at a moment's notice. As Blanco told ELLE in a recent interview: 'I have a whole menu of things she likes, so whenever she's hungry, I have them in my back pocket. I prep a lot of stuff and freeze it. She loves coconut shrimp, so I'll prep a bunch of them, and then I just drop them in the deep fryer when she wants them. I make personal chicken pot pies for her, in little ramekins.' Some people may feel like taking a big step back from romance this summer, channeling Cancer Pamela Anderson's sovereign season of life. On her (decidedly un-Hollywood) coastal Canadian property, she spends her days writing, tending to the land, and thumbing her nose at ageist beauty standards by going makeup-free on red carpets. She has created a sacred space to revel in, a metaphoric crab shell, which is romantic in and of itself. So how can you navigate this summer's softer serving of love? Let's take it element by element. Feel free to read for either your sun sign or your rising sign here. Passion is your forté, but sentimentality isn't your usual territory. Yet this summer, it's where the magic happens. Jupiter in Cancer asks you to slow down and listen to your heart, instead of charging ahead. Vulnerability becomes your secret weapon, but it's not just about confessing before you ghost. Stick around for the 'awkward' afterglow—you'll bond in ways you never dreamed possible. You thrive in stability, and this transit offers just that—but with a sweetly emo twist. Jupiter in Cancer supports your desire to build something lasting, especially in love. You may find joy in curating a cozy home with a partner, but that's not the hard part. Your challenge now is to learn that strength can look like softness. In Cancer, Jupiter serves a masterclass in expressing your emotions in the moment rather than waiting for the 'right' time, which often never comes. You love connecting with people through laughter and fun. But feelings? That feels messy and complicated for the cool-headed air sign. Jupiter in Cancer invites you to go deeper in all your interactions. You'll also embrace a more practical approach to love. Rather than breezing through witty DM exchanges, you want face-to-face hangouts with people who you could see yourself building something real with. You're in your romantic, heartfelt element with abundant Jupiter amplifying all your emotions. Finally! You feel seen by the world; no more hiding your sensitivity. Now it's a superpower, and the rest of the world is operating on your wavelength. Get ready to deepen bonds as you insist on nothing short of emotional clarity. Prince William and Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, drinking cider at the Royal Cornwall Show in Wadebridge, England, on June To Know The Prince of Wales was at the Royal Cornwall Show with his aunt Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, when they tried a Rattler, a brand of Cornish hard cider that also sells a zero percent alcohol alternative. On being told he had been offered the zero percent version, William replied: "Oh no, no, no, no. I need an original," referring to the brand's signature drink, which contains 5.5 percent alcohol by volume. As he stood by the Rattler stall, William had said earlier, "Everyone remembers where they were when they had their first Rattler." He added: "You remember the first one. You don't remember the last." "We've got [something] a little bit different for you today," his host replied. "What's the Rattler? Zero?" William said. "Oh no, no, no, no. I need an original." The royal continued: "You bring out the big guns. Can't do the zero stuff." What People Are Saying One user commented on the TikTok video: "He's a great example for other Royals he's in touch with the everyday man loves football and loves a drink long live the future king." Another wrote: "Is 0% cider not just apple juice." A commenter added: "Future king has great banter." Prince William Speaks Out About Oceans Since the Royal Cornwall Show, William has helped to promote a new nature documentary, David Attenborough: Ocean. He also gave a speech about protecting the world's oceans in Monaco on Sunday: "The truth is that healthy oceans are essential to all life on earth. They generate half of the world's oxygen, regulate our climate and provide food for more than 3 billion people. "And today, they need our help. Rising sea temperatures, plastic pollution and overfishing are putting pressure on these fragile ecosystems … and on the people and communities who depend most upon them. "What once seemed an abundant resource is diminishing before our eyes. We all stand to be impacted. And we are all responsible for change—both negative and positive."
