Ex-Hearts star signs up at Airdrie as Diamonds raid Hamilton Accies again in summer rebuild
Euan Henderson joins Sean McGinty at the Diamonds
Airdrie have agreed a deal to sign former Hamilton Accies forward Euan Henderson.
Henderson, 24, can play in a number of positions, and joins from Airdrie's former Championship rivals, where he spent the last two seasons, after six years at Hearts.
He joins former Accies team-mate Sean McGinty at the Diamonds this coming season. Hamilton were stripped of 15 points for various off-field offences, pitching them into League One, and landing Airdrie in the play-off, which they successfully came through.
Henderson told the club's website: "I'm really pleased to be joining Airdrieonians, it's a great opportunity and I'm happy to get it over the line.
"I can't wait to get started - I'm looking forward to settling in and meeting everyone, and I'll be doing everything I can to help the team climb as high up the table as possible."
Player-boss Rhys McCabe said: "We've seen over the years that Euan is a good player who is dynamic, quick and offers versatility in the forward areas.
"He's direct and positive, and in our environment that will hopefully bring the best out in him as well as adding to our attacking options."
