Happy Father's Day Dada! Princess Eugenie shares sweet photo tribute to husband Jack Brooksbank

Daily Mail7 hours ago

Princess Eugenie has shared a sweet photo tribute to her husband Jack Brooksbank to mark Father's Day.
The mother-of-two took to her Instagram Stories to give royal watchers a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into her family life, by posting four images of Jack and their two sons, Ernest, two, and August, four.
The snaps Eugenie, 35, posted, did not show her son's faces, however they did reveal sweet family moments.
One, which showed Jack hugging one of the youngsters, was overlayed with text saying: 'Happy Father's Day Dada!'.
Another, shot from behind, showed the two boys holding their father's hands as they walked through an airport.
The two further images appeared to show moments from a family holiday, with one featuring Jack carrying their children down a wooden path through a sandy area, and the other showing him playing in a swimming pool with them.
Eugenie's sweet tribute came just weeks after she shared a touching tribute to her 'golden boy' Ernest as he celebrated his second birthday.
She shared a series of photos of both of her boys as she marked her youngest son's birthday on Instagram.
In one photograph, Ernest was shown being thrown into the air by his father while on a snowy ski trip.
In another, he played in the mud with his four-year-old brother.
The mother-of-two wrote: 'Happy Birthday my darling Ernie. 2 today! And what an incredible two years it's been.
'Always smiling, always laughing, always giving hugs and hello's and making everyone happy.
'My golden boy, we love you!'
In other pictures from the rare snapshot, Ernie and August were seen holding hands as they walked down a street in London. Another pictured them together on an airplane.
Ernie is also seen being held by his mother while on a ski trip, the youngster bundled up in a bright teal snowsuit and holding firmly to a lion-shaped comforter.
And in another, he adorably wears a pair of sunglasses upside-down.
Another of the photographs showed Jack Brooksbank walking through what appeared to be an airport with their two sons
Royal watchers were quick to join in the birthday celebrations in the comments of Eugenie's Instagram post.
One person said: 'Lovely photos, hope Ernie has the best day.'
Another added: 'Oh wow they are getting so big. Feels only yesterday I was watching your wedding on the telly! Happy birthday Ernie.'
And a third said: 'Happy, Happy 2nd Birthday Ernie!!! Lots of love to you all!!!'
Eugenie recently spoke about motherhood while appearing on a recent episode of Cressida Bonas and Isabella Branson's podcast, Lessons From Our Mothers alongside her sister Princess Beatrice.
According to the royal, learning to harness one's inner strength was one of the most important lessons she had gleaned from her mother.
Princess Eugenie said: 'I think for me, it's the fire inside, you know, the strength inside of you. And how to bring that out, and to pull it in when you most need it'.
Eugenie married wine merchant Jack in October 2018 in a stunning ceremony at St George's Chapel in Windsor.
The pair first began dating in 2011 and confirmed their relationship in an appearance at Royal Ascot that same year.
When Eugenie left London to work for an auction house in New York in 2013, the pair maintained a long distance relationship.
At the time, Jack told The Daily Mail: 'We spend a lot of time on Skype. It's great. We're still very much together.'
In 2015 the Princess returned to London where the pair grew ever closer - and they sparked engagement rumours the following year.
But it was two more years before Jack popped the question while the pair were away in Nicaragua in January 2018.

Lara Worthington shares touching tribute to husband Sam alongside intimate gallery of family photos

Lara Worthington has shared a touching tribute to husband Sam Worthington. The glamorous stay-at-home mother celebrated the Avatar star on Father's Day, held on June 15 in the US, by sharing a gallery of rarely seen family photos to Instagram. In the carousel, Sam looked every inch the doting father to their three children, showing a softer side to the notoriously private actor. In one frame, the 48-year-old is seen smiling for the camera while horsing around with his sons in a swimming pool. In another frame, Sam is pictured tenderly nursing one of his sons on a private jet while playfully sucking on a dummy. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral The third image sees Sam shirtless, holding one of their newborns against his bare chest. Lara captioned the images simply, writing, 'Happy Father's Day' across all three. Lara and Sam began dating in 2013 and married the following year. The model previously told The Daily Telegraph that the couple are enjoying growing old together. 'We've only got each other. Sam and I are a good team. We're both Australians and we have the same values. We come at our children as a team... I think that's really important,' she said. Lara went on to say that she and her family are 'all very close' and that she isn't too strict a parent. 'They always make me feel so good, especially Sam. I don't want that to ever go; I hope it doesn't,' she said. 'But being able to be a mum and to work definitely stems from your partner. Sam and I are on the same page, so I feel like he's "got me" when I'm working and vice versa.' Sam and Lara currently split their time between Sydney and New York. Last year, the Avatar star revealed he had no plans for a permanent move Down Under any time soon. Speaking to GQ Australia, Sam said that he owed 'everything' to his adopted homeland. 'No. I like America,' Sam said when asked if a move was in the couple's future. 'America has given me everything and I've been here for 20-odd years. There's anonymity but there's also a real sense of community which is very cool.' Sam added he was also enamoured by New York - a place where his acting is not always the first topic of conversation. They share three sons - Rocket, Racer and River.

Sam Thompson joins final minutes of Soccer Aid charity match as England player

Reality TV star Sam Thompson managed to play the final few minutes of the Soccer Aid charity match, having previously pulled out due to an injury suffered on his 260-mile fundraising run. The Made In Chelsea star had said he could not play for the England team after being injured while completing the Match Ball Mission running and cycling challenge, which raised more than £2 million for Unicef. But Thompson made it on for the last few minutes of the charity match, broadcast live on ITV, which also saw Hollywood's Julia Roberts chatting to Wayne Rooney and Dermot O'Leary apologising to viewers for a Tyson Fury 'f-bomb'. The match at Old Trafford, which sees an England team of former professionals and celebrities take on Soccer Aid World XI FC, raised more than £15 million for the aid organisation. The I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! winner injured his calf during his challenge where he transported the Soccer Aid match ball from last year's stadium, Chelsea's Stamford Bridge, to Old Trafford. On Friday, he announced that he would no longer be able to play and instead join the management team alongside Fury, however minutes before the final whistle, Thompson joined the Old Trafford pitch as a player. Before Sunday's match, O'Leary 'profusely' apologised to ITV viewers after the heavyweight champion swore live on air while giving the England team a pre-match talk in the locker rooms. He said: 'Let them know how good we are. We are England. We are f****** Spartans. We are Spartans.' Presenters Alex Scott and O'Leary apologised afterwards, with Scott saying: 'What can I say about Tyson Fury? We do apologise for the swearing, but it is Tyson Fury, we don't know what's going to happen.' O'Leary added: 'We do profusely apologise.' The game ended with a 5-4 win for the Soccer Aid World XI team, with the final goal being scored by rapper and TV chef Big Zuu. Among his teammates who joined him to celebrate was former Argentina and Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez, who scored four goals for the World XI. Prior to lifting the trophy in the air, singer Robbie Williams – who co-founded the charity game in 2006 – announced this year's had raised £15,280,163. Pretty Woman-star Roberts, who has described herself as a 'true fan' of Manchester United, was seen taking photographs at Old Trafford, smiling next to the former England striker Rooney, who, minutes into the game, scored the first goal for England. Among the England team line-up alongside Rooney were former One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson and Olympic gold-medallist Sir Mo Farah. Last Of Us star Bella Ramsey also joined this year's England team along with comedian Paddy McGuinness, former Manchester United player Gary Neville and singer Tom Grennan. Last year, the match ended with a 6-3 win for England, with the Three Lions taking home the win for the first time in six years. Since the fundraising match was first founded nearly two decades ago, it has raised more than £106 million.
