Cowboys RB Miles Sanders (knee) returns to full practice
Head coach Brian Schottenheimer expressed optimism earlier this week that Sanders would be available for the Cowboys' second preseason game Saturday against the visiting Baltimore Ravens.
Sanders, 28, signed a one-year, $1.34 million deal in free agency in March and was hoping to compete with Javonte Williams for the lead backfield role.
Sanders is three years removed from a Pro Bowl campaign with Philadelphia in 2022 in which he rushed for 1,269 yards and 11 touchdowns in 17 games (15 starts).
His production declined with Carolina over the past two seasons, rushing for a combined 637 yards and three TDs in 27 games (seven starts) for the Panthers.
Sanders has rushed for 4,345 yards and 23 scores and caught 175 passes for 1,244 yards and four TDs in 84 games (56 starts) with the Eagles (2019-22) and Panthers. Philadelphia drafted him in the second round in 2019.

Venus Williams handed US Open wild card at the age of 45
Two-time former champion Venus Williams has been handed a wild card into this month's US Open at the age of 45. The seven-time grand slam winner made a surprise comeback to tennis earlier this summer after more than a year out of the sport. Williams showed she can still compete after beating fellow American Peyton Stearns in the first round at the Washington Open. Now the former world number one is set to become the oldest singles player to compete at Flushing Meadows since Renee Richards, aged 47 in 1981. It will be Williams' 25th appearance at the New York major, 25 years after she first won it in 2000. She is also on the entry list for the new-look mixed doubles event alongside another American, Reilly Opelka. Williams' sister Serena, who won six US Opens among her 23 grand slam titles, retired after the tournament in 2022.

Olympic legend Michael Phelps takes on his hometown NFL team the Baltimore Ravens in diving content
Olympic legend Michael Phelps took on his hometown NFL team the Baltimore Ravens in a diving contest. The 23-time gold medal winner was invited by Ravens players to visit their training camp. In a social media video, they told him one in three of their players couldn't swim. The team joined the die-hard Ravens fan at the Loyola University's Mangione Aquatic Center on Tuesday (August 13). Phelps offered tips on swimming, gave a motivational speech, raced the team (after giving a large head start) and, most amusingly, competed in a diving contest which saw some impressive bellyflops.

Kevin Durant sparks romance rumors with controversial ex-WNBA star and OnlyFans model Liz Cambage
One Instagram story from former WNBA star and current OnlyFans model Liz Cambage has sparked romance rumors with one of the NBA 's biggest stars - new Houston Rocket Kevin Durant. On Tuesday, Cambage posted the snap to social media with her and Durant standing close together. The picture appears to be from Drake 's concert in Switzerland, as her next post to her story is of the Canadian rapper performing. Durant is wearing a black t-shirt and jeans while smiling in the photo, while cambage is in a small black shirt and top, pretending to shoot a basketball. 'Shooters only @easymoneysniper,' Cambage wrote on her story, tagging Durant's account. Durant reposted the photo of him and Cambage to his over 13million followers on Instagram. Both Durant, 33, and Cambage appear to not be in a relationship, with no posts from either on social media announcing a partner. Cambage also posted a photo from the concert with two friends, with her in a lavish dress. Cambage made headlines worldwide in 2021 after allegedly sparking a physical altercation and calling Nigerian players 'monkeys.' That controversy got her banned from the Australian national team. Fans of both basketball stars have eaten up the rumor of the Team USA star and former Olympian being an item. 'I know that smile. First time taking a pic with your baddie!' one fan stated on X. 'The Super Mega Basketball players they could create OMG,' a second person added. Cambage has not played in the WNBA since a 2022 stint with the Los Angeles Sparks. Since then, she has played professionally in Israel and China. Durant, a future first-ballot Hall of Famer, will begin play for his fifth franchise in Houston in a few months after being traded from the Phoenix Suns earlier this year.
