Reddit user says co-passenger verbally abused father over seat on Nagpur-Pune train
'I have heard that when you have got a side upper seat, you can sit on the side-lower from 6 am to 10 pm,' the user wrote, explaining that their tickets were booked by relatives, and they were not fully aware of railway rules. When the user politely requested a younger co-passenger to adjust and let his father sit on the side-lower berth for a while, the response was rather aggressive.'I said, 'Bhaiya, aap thoda sarak jaaye toh mere papa ko baithna hai (Could you please move a little so my father can sit)', and he replied, 'Yeh seat puri meri hai, kahin aur bitha isko (This whole seat is mine, make him sit somewhere else)',' the user said in the post. After repeated polite requests, the user said the man put on his earbuds and refused to respond. When he tapped the passenger's knee and requested again, the man responded with abuse, directed at the elderly father.Despite confronting the man and pointing out that he was only asking for a place for his old father to sit, the passenger allegedly continued to use obscene language. The user said his father, who has heart and leg problems, could not climb to the upper berth and was deeply hurt by the humiliation. At night, after some encouragement, the user's father managed to climb to the side-upper berth. The user said he informed the TTE (Travelling Ticket Examiner) about the abuse, but the official dismissed the complaint, allegedly saying, 'I don't care, ask him, not me about this.'Calling it the 'worst experience,' the user concluded his post by urging people to be more compassionate towards elderly travellers. 'Think twice — people are good and bad too. If you've got old people with you, be aware,' he said. The post also featured two pictures of the passenger in question:
The post has drawn strong reactions online, with many users expressing anger over the incident and questioning the inaction of the railway staff.'I would've punched him,' one user commented, adding that the man should have retaliated physically after the passenger verbally abused his father.'Change yourself to be strong enough to defend your family,' another user added. One of the users also said, 'Felt very bad reading this.'- Ends

US millionaire hunter gored to death: Social media hails buffalo as hero
In a dramatic twist of fate that has reignited fierce debate on the ethics of big-game hunting, American trophy hunter Asher Watkins, 52, was fatally gored by a Cape buffalo—often dubbed the 'Black Death'—during a licensed safari in Limpopo, South Africa, on August 3, 2025. Watkins, a Texas-based millionaire and self-proclaimed 'adventure conservationist,' had built a prominent online presence showcasing his trophy kills from across the globe. But this time, nature struck back. The buffalo, one of Africa's most formidable and unpredictable animals, charged while being tracked and instantly killed him—a rare reversal that quickly turned into a viral morality tale. Public voices split, but the internet takes the buffalo's side Within hours, news of Watkins' death exploded across social media platforms, where reactions ranged from sympathy to savage criticism. While some viewed his death as a tragic accident, many celebrated it as karmic justice. 'He deserved his fate. He travelled the planet killing for fun. Hope the buffalo wasn't harmed,' one user commented. 'Karma at its finest. The hunted finally fought back,' another quipped. The phrase 'when the hunter becomes the hunted' trended widely, with users across platforms framing the incident as a reckoning moment for those who glorify killing animals for sport. The wall at the buffaloes house — Chloe Of Now (@ChloeOfNow) August 6, 2025 Online sentiment: The buffalo as a symbol of justice A clear shift in public sentiment emerged—sympathy poured not for the fallen millionaire, but for the buffalo. On Reddit and Facebook, users dubbed the animal a symbol of wild justice and resistance. One Redditor wrote: 'Sounds like perfectly justifiable self-defence on the buffalo's part.' 'To kill for sport is despicable. Love this buffalo for taking out the trash.' 'He came to my territory uninvited' — Pfarelo (@PfareloMulondo) August 7, 2025 Viral memes, commentary threads, and wildlife advocacy pages echoed the same sentiment: it was nature's turn to win. From blood sport to backlash: the ethics of hunting under fire While defenders of trophy hunting pointed to the economic benefits such safaris bring to local communities and conservation efforts, critics were quick to dismiss those arguments, calling them smokescreens for cruelty. The tragic end of a man who once boasted about taking down lions and elephants became a catalyst for reflection on the legitimacy of these 'hunts' in the modern age. Posts questioned why such practices still receive legal sanction and tourist support. One wildlife conservation page remarked: 'It's telling that the world mourns the buffalo, not the man. That says everything about where we are in 2025.' Digital-age morality tale The social media narrative following the incident has evolved into more than just a viral news cycle—it's a morality play for the digital age. It reveals changing global attitudes toward wildlife, colonial legacies in safari culture, and the growing consensus that the right to life doesn't end at the species line. In the end, this was not just a story about a man's tragic death—it became a symbol of resistance. And on that front, the internet has spoken loudly and clearly: it stands with the buffalo.

This Is Creepy... Hrithik Roshans 17-Year-Old Son Hridaan Roshan Hounded By Paparazzi, Viral Video Sparks Outrage Online
New Delhi: A recent video of Hrithik Roshan's 17-year-old son, Hridaan Roshan, has gone viral on social media. The footage, which surfaced on Reddit and other platforms, has triggered widespread concern over the conduct of paparazzi, with many online users labelling the behaviour as "creepy" and "weird". Hridaan Seen Fleeing Paparazzi in Viral Clip In the now widely circulated video, Hridaan is seen exiting a building when paparazzi spot him and begin calling out. Startled, the teen attempts to avoid any interaction by walking away swiftly, but the paparazzi persist, prompting Hridaan to break into a run towards a parked car. Social Media Users Condemn Paparazzi Behaviour The video quickly gained traction on Reddit and other platforms, sparking a flurry of comments criticising the invasive behaviour. One user wrote, "Why would you run after a barely legal child like that!? He legit seemed a little scared and accosted." Another added, "This is weird asf, paps are such creeps man." Several others called for accountability: 'This should be a crime,' or 'This is literally harassment,' and 'Oh my god! Poor kid. He is being hounded. This is a way this child ran to a safe place is really sad. It's a crime to harass people like that.' Hridaan's Looks Earlier, he made headlines for his resemblance to his father, Hrithik Roshan, with comments comparing his facial features to both his parents. However, several users pointed out how such observations were often accompanied by inappropriate and overly personal commentary, especially from adults online. "Poor kid. I also remember the Internet being so creepy towards his looks as a minor, lots of weird comments from clearly middle aged women. This is literally harassment,' one commenter noted. Public Demands Boundaries The incident has renewed conversations about the need for ethical boundaries in media coverage of celebrity families, particularly minors. 'This is creepy. Paps need to learn manners,' one user summed up.
