Khloe Kardashian reveals why a teenaged boy is living in her $17M mansion

Daily Mail21 hours ago
Khloe Kardashian has three people living with her.
In addition to her two children Tatum and True, whom she shares with ex-fiance Tristan Thompson, the 41-year-old reality TV siren has a teenager in her posh $20M Hidden Hills home.
That boy is Tristan's brother Amari.
Although she no longer dates Tristan, 34, she has Amir at her home because she was close to Tristan's late mother Andrea and chose to take over Amari's care after Andrea's sudden death in 2023.
'For those who don't know, Tristan has a younger brother who is 18 years old, and he is severely disabled,' she said on her podcast Khloe in Wonder Land.
Amari has LGS (Lennox-Gastaut syndrome), which is a form of epilepsy, and he is disabled. He can't walk or talk. He's never been able to talk.
'People are always like, why did I do that? Me and Tristan aren't together, why would I take on helping with Amari?' she said.
'But when I met Tristan and his family, oh my gosh, like nine, almost 10 years ago, which is crazy. When I met them, Andrea, Tristan's mom and I, we became such good friends,' she said.
'I would help her with Amari medically. She would have questions. She would need connections to certain doctors, and I would help with that,' she added.
'So I was very much involved in all of his medical appointments when Andrea was here.'
'I also know how much Amari means to Andrea, and she passed away because she had a sudden heart attack.
Khloe then said that just because she is not longer romantically linked to Thompson does not read she doesn't have 'connections' with his family.
'My relationship with Andrea has nothing to do with Tristan, and my commitment to her has nothing to do with Tristan, and Amari deserves someone who will be there for him, take care of him, provide a great lifestyle for him,' noted the Good American designer.
'So Amari deserves my love and care, regardless of where me and Tristan stand.'
Tristan's lifestyle as a pro basketball player isn't suitable for Amari due to all of the travel his job entrails so Khloe moved him into her Los Angeles home and she loves to see Amari interacting with her children and nieces and nephews.
Khloe – who has 'two sensational caretakers for Amari' - said: 'Tristan is in the NBA, and he is in a different state literally every other day or every few days, and it's just not conducive for Amari to be on that many planes.
'Amari has a handful of seizures a day with the type of epilepsy that he has.
'So Amari stays in LA with me, and I have chosen to take care of him and be there for him, because it's not good that he travels. I love having Amari be a part of my family.
'We just want to provide Amari with the best, most beautiful life that we know how. And he deserves that,' said the ex of Lamar Odom.
'I think it's so important for my kids, my nieces and nephews, to be exposed to all different types of people in the world.
'I think it teaches everyone compassion, understanding. It opens up their minds to seeing, wow, Amari is disabled, sure, but he's also just like us at the same time,' added the sister of Khloe and Kylie.
'And I love seeing how Amari lights up when he's around the kids. He can't verbally talk, but if you know him well enough, he can definitely express himself, and you see the glimmer in his eyes. And he's just such an amazing, amazing young man.'

Country singer Conner Smith admits to 'dark moments' at first show since car accident that killed elderly woman

Country star Conner Smith has admitted to enduring 'dark moments' since his fatal car accident involving an elderly woman. The 24-year-old singer opened up on Wednesday about the accident during his first performance back on stage since the June crash. Conner hit Dorothy Dobbins, 77, with his Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck in Nashville - hours after he performed at CMA Fest - while she was walking on a marked crosswalk. Dorothy was rushed to Vanderbilt Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. Conner has since been issued a misdemeanor citation and is to appear for booking on the citation on August 7. And during his recent performance at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee, the singer candidly spoke to the crowd about the aftermath. 'I've found in the darkest of moments, the Lord is so much closer than ever before. He was better than I could ever imagine every step of the way,' Conner said, according to a video obtained by Fox News. 'He was kinder than I could ever imagine. He was more of a defender than I could ever imagine in my heart.' In the last two months following the accident, Conner has canceled multiple shows on his tour to take a step back and reflect on what happened. Before taking the stage, Conner posted an emotional blog post to his Substack titled The First Steps where he opened up about his emotional journey after the crash. 'What was once routine is now a great contrast to the two months of hiddenness my heart has needed,' Conner wrote. 'Tonight, I am going to perform again, and the truth is, in the very first moments of tragedy, I found it hard to imagine ever stepping on a stage again. 'The moment tragedy came, I knew that my heart had no way to process it. 'Surrounded by an incredible community, my wife, family, friends, pastors, for the first 30 days, I stayed isolated from the world. I spent most of my time with friends who had stopped by the house, or just me and Jesus. 'I turned off my phone, and the world, and simply guarded my mind, processing the pain with the people around me.' He also thanked his fans for 'standing by me' and 'protecting me.' Conner concluded by revealing his first night back on stage felt like a 'new beginning in every way.' 'A restart, a second chance, an opportunity for purpose through the trials I've now known. My heart is filled with thankfulness because of that truth,' he added. 'The truth that I now get a chance to begin again, having seen the things that truly matter in life.' During his performance at the Grand Ole Opry, the Christian singer performed emotional songs about worship and even debuted a new song called Songs of David, which he called a 'version of a prayer' he had been writing over the past two months. He also touched on his hiatus to focus on healing, saying: 'Out of respect for everyone involved and to give space for grieving, I made the decision to step away from shows these past few weeks. 'I have always found that making music and playing shows is a place of healing for me – but for this moment, it was important for me to take time away.' Conner is a recording artist for Big Machine Records' sub-label Valory. He's best known for the viral hit I Hate Alabama, which was released in late 2021 and became a sensation with TikTok users. Buzz from the song led to his record deal, which he inaugurated with his 2022 EP Didn't Go Too Far.

Amazon Prime adaptation of War of the Worlds is panned

The latest adaptation of H.G. Wells' War of the Worlds is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. Starring Ice Cube, Eva Longoria, and Clark Gregg, the film is presented as a 'screenlife' thriller, with action unfolding on a computer screen. Film critics have widely panned the adaptation, branding it 'silly', 'shoddy', and 'disastrous'. Reviewers criticised the film for its blurry visuals, unconvincing action, and perceived function as a long commercial for Amazon Prime. Critics also highlighted Ice Cube's ill-fitting performance and the film's failure to capture the epic nature of an alien invasion story.

Pamela Anderson reveals how she made movie hunk Liam Neeson 'fall in love' with her

Pamela Anderson has revealed how she made her new boyfriend fall in love with her. The Playboy veteran impressed Liam Neeson by bringing homemade sourdough bread and muffins to The Naked Gun set. Anderson is best known for her sexy role on Baywatch but she is also an accomplished chef with a cookbook to her name: Her plant-based I Love You: Recipes From The Heart was nominated for a 2025 James Beard Award. Anderson and Neeson worked together for the first time on the action comedy - a revival of the franchise which originally starred Leslie Nielsen - and Pamela, 58, admitted she was nervous when they first met. But they forged a close friendship and she was soon bringing him baked goods to snack on during breaks. During a SiriusXM Town Hall event in New York City on Wednesday, Pamela said: '[I was] nervous to meet [Liam], of course and you're always nervous the first day on the set... 'I brought sourdough bread to Liam and cookies and muffins and kept me busy. Kept me outta trouble ... It's a very special [muffin] recipe. It's very good for you. Let's just say that.' Liam, 73, added that Pamela's sourdough was 'phenomenal' and the muffins featured 'a lot of bran'. During the event, Liam admitted he was charmed by Pamela from the moment they first met. He said: 'Well, you know, we had never met before and I remember thinking: "Wow, she is gorgeous" but she had this wonderful sense of silliness and just humanity about her. 'I don't want to blow her head up, but it was like I just felt an ease with her, you know, and we discovered a silliness with each other, which was terrific, you know?' The pair bonded on set and their close relationship has sparked rumors they are more than just friends. Daily Mail reported they have been spending time together at Pamela's home in Canada after bonding over her love of gardening and baking. A source told 'Pam is very drawn to Liam because he is totally open to her way of thinking and living, and especially her approach to fame, which is impressive. 'She has been telling friends he is smitten and does a lot of sweet things for her, like sending her flowers, and spending time with her sons and dogs.' 'Pam cooks and gardens at home ... it's wholesome and appealing and very un-Hollywood and Liam loves that. He actually gets involved.'
