A busy Dundee road has been closed after a crash between a car and a pedestrian.
Old Glamis Road is shut between the Kingsway roundabout and Park Road.
The incident happened at around 1.05pm on Wednesday.
One passer-by says there are 'quite a few police cars' at the scene close to the junction with Donwie Park Road.
Police Scotland says the incident has happened between the Kingsway and Gillburn Road, however, The Courier has confirmed the incident has actually happened between the Kingsway and Park Road, on the south side of the dual carriageway.
Xplore Dundee is also diverting buses away from this stretch of the road.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use an alternative route.

A 17-year-old male has been arrested and charged following a disturbance in the St Clement Place area of Dundee. A 17-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in connection with attempted murder in Dundee. Police raced to the scene after the alarm was raised around 1.40pm on Tuesday, May 27, amid reports of violence in the St Clement Place area of Dundee. The youth will appear in court today. A 15-year-old boy has been arrested and charged after a teenager was allegedly stabbed on a Glasgow street. Emergency services raced to the incident after the boy, also 15, was found seriously injured on Denbeck Street in Shettleston at 10.30pm on Thursday. Crews attended and the teen was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to serious injuries. He has since been discharged. Investigations have so far established that four individuals, all dressed in dark clothing, were seen fleeing the area and heading towards Shettleston Road and then onto Wellshot Road. Officers earlier appealed to anybody who may have witnessed the group to come forward. Detective Inspector Lesley-Ann McGee, from Shettleston CID, said: "This was a violent attack that left a teenage boy with serious injuries, and we are doing everything we can to trace those responsible. "I would urge anyone who saw what happened or noticed anything suspicious in the area to get in touch with police as soon as possible. "We're also keen to speak to anyone who may have private CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage from Denbeck Street, Shettleston Road, Wellshot Road or the surrounding areas on Thursday night. "Any information, no matter how small, could help us as we continue our enquiries." Chief Inspector Ross Aitken, Area Commander for Shettleston and Easterhouse, said: "We recognise that this incident will be concerning to the local community. "At this time, we believe it was a targeted attack and there is no information to suggest any wider risk to the public. "There will be additional patrols in the area over the coming days to provide reassurance and support the ongoing inquiry. "I would encourage anyone with concerns to speak to our officers." Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3927 of 29 May, 2025.
