Now, West Brom have recognised the 19-year-old's talent by rewarding him with a new contract, which runs until the summer of 2027, his agent revealed on X:

In other news, Brondby are reportedly close to selling Celtic-linked attacker Mathias Kvistgaarden.
The Parkhead club's interest in the forward has long been noted.
He is close to joining Lens, claims Tipsbladet, who say that the French Ligue 1 side have reached an agreement with Brondby over a potential move.
Lens have yet to agree terms with Kvistgaarden himself, though, and Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt are 'very keen'. Norwich City have also been credited with an interest.
The 23-year-old's reported price tag is north of €13 million, a fee that would make him the most expensive player in Brondby's history.

Charlotte Watson celebrated her 100th cap for Scotland with a spectacular solo goal, but the Tartan Hearts were broken by a 4-3 scoreline in the second of two hockey Test matches with France at The University of Edinburgh Playing Fields at Peffermill. The 27-year-old, who also has 34 caps for Great Britain and competed in the Paris Olympics last year, forced a turnover just outside the French D and drove for goal, leaving the defence in her slipstream. Now she is looking to help steer Scotland to a high placing in the EuroHockey Championships also in Munchengladbach. At her last appearance there she scored a memorable and game-clinching goal as Scotland edged Spain 2-1 to record one of their finest victories in recent times. Spain were ranked No 8 in the world at the time, Scotland were No 19, but Watson was sent clear by Dunfermline-raised Eve Pearson and she slid the ball low into the right-hand corner for 2-0. Brown expects 'quality' from teenage Celtic duo

"Kyle we've not seen too much of just yet, but he was only just in training the other day and gets his minutes on the park today. "The two of them are fantastic footballers and it's another two lefties in the team and they have a good understanding of the game and they want to better themselves. "Hopefully they can get game time and, at the same time, add quality on the pitch."

Only Celtic switch up for Rangers Champions League congestion can soothe Premier Sports Cup fixture headache

Do so, and they will face either Servette or Viktoria Plzen in the third qualifying round. It's not unthinkable that they will book a spot in the playoff round alongside their city rivals, leaving both 180 minutes away from the lucrative league phase. The first legs of those ties will be played on Tuesday August 19 and Wednesday 20, with the Premier Sports Cup fixtures being played the weekend prior. That's still a while away, but it won't be known if Rangers make it before the TV picks for the domestic cup clashes are made. That rules out the Sunday with at least one of them set to play on the Tuesday, and assuming Police Scotland don't go for staggered kick-offs on Saturday August 16, then the most obvious solution at this stage looks like Celtic hosting the Bairns on Friday 15. There is a precedent for both to kick-off on their own respective patches at the same time, however. July 2022 saw the Light Blues host Tottenham Hotspur in the friendly while Norwich City were across town at Celtic Park. Both games kicked off at 3pm on the same day in the same city - which was the first time that had happened since January 1999. Just under 38,000 watched Rangers beat Stenhousemuir 2-0 in the Scottish Cup while over 42,000 were at Parkhead to see the Hoops see off Airdrie 3-1.
