Mouni Roy Steps Into Her Noir Era In A Dramatic Black Gown
Fresh off the Cannes red carpet, Mouni Roy is making fashion waves (again). Whether it's a big event or a themed photoshoot, the Bhootni actor knows how to top the sartorial charts. On another page of her fashion diaries, Mouni Roy embraced the 'noir' aesthetic. She slipped into a breathtaking gown from the shelves of designer label Alpana Neeraj. Her OOTD featured a black corseted top with a sweetheart neckline. The strapless wonder was a fitted masterpiece that hugged Mouni in all the right places. Silver sequinned geometric patterns adorned the bodice and looked beautiful. Sparkly, bejewelled elements added the right amount of pizzazz to the outfit. The floor-skimming netted skirt in a brilliant black shade deserves all the attention. The sheer fabric offered a risque twist, but Mouni carried it elegantly. Tiny sequins dominating the flowy skirt twinkled like bright stars, befitting of a star like Mouni. Thanks to her stylist Rishika Devnani, the 39-year-old looked no less than a princess in the fit. View this post on Instagram A post shared by mon (@imouniroy) Mouni Roy let her outfit steal the limelight as she opted for zero accessories. To be honest, we loved how she balanced drama and subtlety so gracefully. Roy's flawless skin served as the perfect canvas for her makeup. She went with a matte base and added some rosy blush and soft contour. Going for nude lips was simply the right move as she went heavy on the eyes. An intense interplay of eyeliner and kohl, coupled with mascara-coated fluttery lashes, contributed to the fierce smokey effect. She sealed her glamorous avatar with a messy bun, leaving two strands of hair open as they framed her face beautifully. Roy's sartorial outings are truly meant for the books. Do you agree?

Vishal Pandey On Being Trolled For Cannes 2025 Debut Look: ‘Bura Laga'
Last Updated: Vishal Pandey recently addressed the trolling following his Cannes debut, clarifying that his presence at the festival was for a film project, not just for fashion. Vishal Pandey, the Indian actor and social media sensation, made a stunning debut at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival with his international film Far Away From Home. While many celebrated his achievement, others criticised his debut, labelling it a mere red carpet appearance. Recently, Vishal swiftly responded to the backlash, highlighting his passion for storytelling. He emphasised that his presence at Cannes was about more than just fashion. In a candid conversation with Telly Talk, Vishal Pandey shared his thoughts on the online criticism, saying, 'Pareshaan nahi, grateful hu joh bhi opportunities aaye. Vahan pe log mujhe itna appreciate kar rahe the. Mujhe laga jab main apne desh aaunga, aur zyada hoga lekin mere desh mein mixed opinions mile. (I am not worried, I am grateful for whatever opportunities came my way. People there were appreciating me so much. I felt that when I came to my country, there would be more, but I got mixed opinions in my country)." He added, 'Tab bura laga ki main apne country ko represent kar raha tha vahan pe. Aisa nahi hai ki main apna fashion show karne gaya tha. Cannes Film Festival is about films, not fashion. (Then I felt bad that I was representing my country there, it's not like I had gone to show my fashion. Cannes Film Festival is about films, not fashion)." Vishal Pandey further clarified that he had the opportunity to attend the event last year as well, but he chose not to go without a project to showcase. Meanwhile, the actor revealed his outfit for the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. He explained that it was a tribute to French fashion, but in a desi way. Sharing pictures from his Cannes debut, Vishal wrote, 'Debuts are so special and here I'm having 2 debuts! Debut on the Cannes red carpet with my debut international film, Far Away From Home. Eternally grateful! Thanks, Zeeshan Azam Ali, for making my vision come to life and Naomi Chowdary for the effort! Love you guys." Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan recently talked about casting choices in his films, and clarified that he doesn't believe in giving people 'breaks'. He spoke about Laapataa Ladies, which he produced, and said the actors were cast purely on merit, not as a favour to launch their careers.
