Bologna have reportedly targeted Al-Nassr's Brazilian winger Wesley Gassova after selling Dan Ndoye to Nottingham Forest. The sale to the Premier League generated a huge profit for the club, as Ndoye had been bought from FC Basel for €16.45m in the summer of 2023 and sold on two years later for €42m plus a 20 per cent cut of the future resale fee. He will prove a difficult figure to replace in the squad, having contributed nine goals and six assists in all competition last season. The 20-year-old Brazilian had already been heavily linked with a move to Serie A earlier in the summer and is now a prime option for the Rossoblu. He moved from Corinthians to Al-Nassr for €18m in August 2024, scoring one goal and providing three assists in 22 competitive games for the Saudi Pro League club. It is believed that Al-Nassr would sell for the same price, but his €4m per season salary is a big problem, so he'd have to take a pay cut. Other options mentioned by the Corriere dello Sport are Tottenham Hotspur owned Bryan Gil and Jonathan Rowe of Olympique Marseille.
