Catch Disney On Ice - Into The Magic in Dubai this September
Adventure is calling…
This May, we announced a Disney theme park and resort is going to open in Abu Dhabi, and while the opening is (possibly) years away, we have other Disney magic heading to town to keep us entertained.
This September, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are heading to Dubai with all of their friends for a performance at Coca-Cola Arena.
The Walt Disney characters will take audience members, both young and the… well, not so young, on an expedition across raging seas, snow-covered mountains, and the marigold bridge in Disney On Ice.
Expect to see Disney's Moana, Frozen, Coco, and Beauty and the Beast with other beloved Disney characters on ice skates in an action-packed extravaganza.
What's the performance about? Into The Magic will take families on a number of escapades. There's the high-sea adventure as Moana sets sail on a life-changing quest to save her island with help from the demigod Maui.
You will also journey across the Marigold Bridge with Miguel from Disney, watch Pixar's Coco, and discover a vibrantly colorful performance with skeletons in a beautiful cultural celebration of family. For Beauty and the Beast fans, you will watch as Belle shows you what it means to be fearless. You will also meet her friends in the enchanted castle and watch as she looks beyond the harsh exterior of the Beast.
And of course, you will also meet the brave heroes from Frozen, Tangled, Rapunzel, and even Cinderella.
Disney On Ice will be in Dubai for 10 days, from September 18 to 28, 2025. Each show is close to two hours long, with a 15-minute intermission.
Tickets are already on sale on coca-cola-arena.com for a starting price of just Dhs75.

Miley Cyrus felt ‘prepared' for fame when she first tasted success
Popstar-actress Miley Cyrus tasted major success in her teenage years when she was cast in the title role in the sitcom 'Hannah Montana'. However, she said that she has always had an "understanding" of how the business of celebrity works. "I've known fame since the moment I was born, I've never known anything else so I was really well prepared in a way that really hard to train yourself to know what to expect on everything that fame can bring," the daughter of 'Achy Breaky Heart' hitmaker Billy Ray Cyrus and goddaughter of country legend Dolly Parton told The New York Times 'The Interview' podcast. She added: "But I already had the handbook because they did the same thing to my dad, and to Dolly and to everyone around me. Dolly is a great example of that, so I felt know what I think it is? I understand the business I'm in. I am in the music industry, I'm in the record business. "When I sign a contract, they're buying records that they wish to sell, so I understand that I am setting myself up to become merchandise. I am committing to them that I not only want to bring success to myself, but to them also. So I understand the music industry," said the "Flowers" hitmaker The singer, who has just released her ninth studio album 'Something Beautiful', only received her first Grammy Award in 2024 for her hit song 'Flowers' and had spent years wondering what she had to do to get that sort of recognition but, prior to her win, had decided that the "validation" she craved came from her millions of fans around the globe instead, reports She said: "There were other Disney artists who dominated in those categories. I don't know who else before that, but there was The Jonas Brothers. It was boys, so they didn't have a character to shed, but because I wore a wig and I was a pop star…" "I remember being broken-hearted because The Jonas Brothers got asked to perform with Stevie Wonder, and I never got an opportunity like that as a young girl. "My show had been on air for years before, and I'd had everyone on that show - Dolly Parton, Vicki Lawrence, who taught me so many amazing things, so was actually the greatest blessing that those awards never happened because I was recognised all the time by millions of people. "Their identities were being formed by me. There's a part of them that's a little part of me. I love that people became my reward. People loved me and that feel good. Of course, every year, never having my name called, and I was working so hard." "Not necessarily saying that I deserved it, but I felt like 'What am I not doing?' Where's the math? Because if we're doing the equation, I feel like it equals some sort of validation.

Here's what Phil Collins learned while recording the soundtrack for 'Tarzan'
There is a reason the Tarzan soundtrack is so iconic, and it all has to do with Phil Collins. Musician and songwriter Phil Collins described the moment he realised he needed to sing all of the film's music in other languages. The singer sang in multiple different languages for the 'Tarzan' movie "Someone says, 'Excuse me, we go to 35 countries. So I'm afraid you're going to... are you going to try to sing in Spanish or Swahili?'" he recalled in the throwback clip. Before working on the Disney animated tale, Collins said he had "never ever sung anything in another language before," reported People. "So that's another plus, that's another new thing I've learned while doing this project," he added, noting that it "opened up a whole" new world to him. The old clip then shows Collins singing Strangers Like Me from the movie Tarzan in French and Spanish. Collins recorded the songs in five different languages: French, German, Italian, Spanish and English, reported People. Collins composed the soundtrack to the 1999 Disney film, which went on to win a Grammy for Best Soundtrack Album. You'll Be in My Heart bagged the Academy Award for Best Original Song and the Golden Globe for the same honour. The songs were written and composed by Collins, who performed alongside Glenn Close, Rosie O'Donnell and NSYNC, with an original score composed by Mark Mancina. The film, which made $448.2 million (Dh1.64 billion) worldwide, starring Tony Goldwyn, Minnie Driver, Brian Blessed, Wayne Knight, Close, and O'Donnell. In 2016, the famed musician's daughter, Lily Collins, told Harry Connick Jr. that one of her father's most recognisable songs was originally written as a lullaby for her.
