Kendrick Lamar is having another massive week on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart in the U.K., which ranks the bestselling tunes that touch either of those genres. This time around, he stands alone, as he claims a trio of smashes inside the uppermost region — something no other artist currently manages.
Kendrick Lamar's Trio of Top 10 Hits
Lamar is the only musician with three hits present inside the top 10 on the current edition of the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart. "All the Stars," one of his collaborations with SZA, is his highest-ranking win, as it sits at No. 7. That's an impressive placement, considering it's the oldest of the bunch.
"Not Like Us" rises one spot to No. 8, while "Luther," another song with SZA, returns to the region as it ascends from No. 11 to No. 10.
'Not Like Us,' 'All the Stars' and 'Luther'
Both "Not Like Us" and "All the Stars" have already spent well over a year on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart. "Luther" hasn't yet had that chance, but the collaboration will likely become another year-long winner for both SZA and Lamar once enough time has passed. It's currently up to 32 frames on the tally as it finds its way back inside the top 10.
SZA and Skye Newman's Pair of Top 10s
Two artists trail Lamar with a pair of top 10s apiece. SZA does so thanks to her work with her longtime friend, while newcomer Skye Newman sits in the runner-up spot with "Family Matters" while "Hairdresser" makes a home at No. 4.
The Weeknd and Chris Brown Join Kendrick Lamar
Looking at the full 40 spaces on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart, four acts see a trio of tunes take up space. Lamar and SZA are joined by The Weeknd and Chris Brown, who also manage the feat at the moment. Neither The Weeknd nor Brown appear inside the top 10, though both sit just a few spaces beneath the uppermost tier.

Sydney Sweeney Responds To Body-Shamers With Topless Photos

Sydney Sweeney has been taking her career to all-new heights as of late. In addition to several major film and television roles, both recently-released and in the works, she also nabbed several major brand deals with the likes of American Eagle and Dr. Squatch. Naturally, Sydney Sweeney has also been dealing with internet trolls and body-shamers, and her recent response resulted in the Madame Web star going topless. As of this writing, the post made by Sweeney on Instagram in response to the aforementioned body-shamers has reached nearly 4.3 million likes. Of course, that's because Sweeney made the decision to flaunt her body with a topless outfit on a rooftop. The only thing covering her chest is an unbuttoned cardigan. 'rain rain go away,' she writes in a caption for the image, referring to those that have complained about some of her prior appearances and outfits. Many trolls have complained on Sweeney's previous images, either shaming the celebrity for exposing her body or simply criticizing her performances in movies like Madame Web or shows like Euphoria . Here's the topless Sydney Sweeney photos: It's definitely one way to throw shade on everything that's trying to put her down. Of course, with her career's continued growth and deals with brands that include the aforementioned American Eagle and Dr. Squatch labels, there isn't much left to put down. That'll only be further proved as Sweeney's other upcoming projects come to light like the long-awaited remake of Barbarella . Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates regarding Sydney Sweeney and her career as we have them. It's certainly never easy dealing with vitriol or backlash on the internet, but Sweeney is clearly making the best of her situation, finding solace and support in her fans and ignoring the haters by doing whatever she wants. It's a strategy that clearly seems to be working, especially with the number of high-concept projects that Sweeney already has herself attached to.

Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani makes All-Star appearance on Pat McAfee Show

The post Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani makes All-Star appearance on Pat McAfee Show appeared first on ClutchPoints. Los Angeles Dodgers two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani is headed to his fifth All-Star Game, and the reigning National League MVP stopped by the Pat McAfee Show on Monday to talk about it. McAfee asked Ohtani who he grew up watching, and his answer should come as no surprise to anyone who started watching baseball in the early 2000s. 'To be honest I grew up watching Ichiro [Suzuki] play in the All-Star Game, so that's somebody who I wanted to meet,' he said. Ohtani has talked about his admiration of Ichiro in the past. 'I have nothing but the utmost respect for him,' Ohtani said in 2018 before his Los Angeles Angels faced Ichiro's former team, the Seattle Mariners. 'What he has done for this game, our country and the fans. I wish we could have played against him, but it wasn't meant to be. Wish nothing but the best for him moving forward.' Though the Dodgers phenom looked up to Ichiro, the two are far different players. The former Mariner was a hitting machine, batting .311 for his career and leading the league in base hits seven times. Ohtani, meanwhile, is one of the best power hitters in the game, and in only eight years has more than twice the number of career home runs that Ichiro finished with. Of course, Ohtani is also a pitcher with a career 2.97 ERA as he continues to build back up after not pitching since 2023. When Ohtani had a chance to meet his idol in 2023, social media was abuzz as video surfaced of an excited Ohtani running across the field to greet him. It was watching Major League Baseball during Ichiro's prime that first made him want to play in the United States. 'I initially grew up watching professional baseball in Japan because I wanted to be an NPB player first,' Ohtani told McAfee. 'But then as I started watching more Major League Baseball, my dream grew and I really wanted to play in the big leagues.' George Lucas brings the force to Comic-Con in historic first visit

Comic-Con fans pulled out their lightsabers Sunday to welcome "Star Wars" creator George Lucas to the prominent pop culture convention for the very first time. Attendees lined up for hours to grab a seat inside the 6,500-person capacity venue in San Diego, California to see the legendary filmmaker behind the "Indiana Jones" franchise speak at the event on its final day. Comic-Con, which draws some 130,000 attendees, has become an important platform for movie studios and their stars to showcase the latest film and television offerings, especially those with a genre fan base. "We've been waiting five decades for this!" said panel moderator Queen Latifah, who oversaw the discussion by Lucas and other filmmakers. Instead of discussing his film works, however, Lucas graced the convention to preview the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art -- opening in Los Angeles in 2026 -- which the director co-founded with his wife, businesswoman Mellody Hobson. "I've been collecting art since I was in college," Lucas, 81, told the crowd, adding that he has amassed tens of thousands of pieces in his collection. "I've been doing this for 50 years now, and then it occurred to me that what am I going to do with it all because I, I refuse to sell it. "I could never do that, it's just, it's not what I think art is -- I think it's more about an emotional connection," the director said. In his description of the museum, Lucas said the institution will feature a blend of works. They include illustrations by Normal Rockwell, Jessie Willcox Smith and N.C. Wyeth; artworks by Frida Kahlo, Jacob Lawrence, Charles White and Robert Colescott; and pieces by cartoonists and artists like Winsor McCay, Frank Frazetta and Jack Kirby. "This is sort of a temple to the people's art," he said in summation. The museum, housed in a sleek, curved building, will also feature items from Lucas's films and other exclusive pieces. For the "Star Wars" mastermind, the museum aims to be a tribute to the importance of narrative art. "When you're born, the baseline is fear. And as you go through life, you're curious about things, but you're especially curious about things you don't understand, and therefore that's a threat to you. "And as a result, you make up stories to make it feel good," he continued. "Science fiction is a myth... but we've made it real because of science fiction books and art." - 'A critical moment' - Among the other members of the panel were Oscar-winning director Guillermo del Toro and production designer Doug Chiang, who shaped the aesthetic of the "Star Wars" universe for decades. "What's remarkable about George is that he leads from the heart, and this museum is him," Chiang said. Del Toro, who will release his latest film "Frankenstein" in November, said many of the museum's pieces will celebrate freedom of speech. "We are in a critical moment in which one of the things they like to disappear is the past, you know, and this is memorializing a popular, vociferous, expressive and eloquent moment in our visual past that belongs to all of us," Del Toro said. The fantasy filmmaker also described comics as a medium with "a lot of social conscience" and joked that comic artists "were the first one to punch a Nazi" in their works. "What a panel!" said attendee Jesse Goldwater, who traveled to San Diego from Los Angeles. "They are the embodiment of Comic-Con itself, without them Comic-Con wouldn't exist." pr/jgc/mlm
