ATLANTA - Police are investigating a hit-and-run that left a man injured after being struck by a vehicle in the early morning hours of May 18.

Officers were dispatched to 3165 Roswell Road around 2:31 a.m. in response to reports of a pedestrian being hit. Witnesses told police that a gray Tesla struck the man as he was crossing the street and fled the scene before officers arrived.
The victim sustained a right leg injury and was transported to Grady Hospital for treatment. Authorities noted the incident occurred in a crowded area where no crosswalk was visible.

CSPD: Man arrested for stealing Cybertruck valued at 81K
(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) arrested a man who stole a Tesla Cybertruck on Monday, June 9. At around 1 p.m. on Monday, the Colorado Springs Police Department Communications Center received a call in the 300 block of E. St. Elmo Avenue, near South Nevada Street, regarding a stolen 2025 Tesla Cybertruck. A Direct Line Reporting Officer initiated the report by phone. The stolen Tesla was later located in the 8000 block of North Academy, off I-25 and near Voyager Parkway, occupied by a suspect. As he walked away from the stolen Tesla, police attempted to make contact, and the man, identified as Glenn Montoya, was taken into custody. The Cybertruck was valued at $81,000, according to police. DERBY, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) – U.S. Border Patrol arrested a father and son Thursday after they tried to use a historic library as a cover to cross into the country. Reason Phung, 18, admitted to dropping his father Van Hoa Phung, 49, off at the Haskell Free Library in Derby Line, Vermont. The library, which was built exactly on the Canada-U.S. border in 1904, has tightened restrictions on non-American visitors this year after pressure from the Trump administration. U.S. Customs and Border Patrol cited a rise in illicit activity as justification for the changes. Both Phungs are Canadian citizens. According to court records, border patrol agents saw Van Hoa Phung walking south wearing a red shirt and shorts and crossing the border near the library at around 2:35 p.m. on June 5. He was then picked up in a car by his son, who had legally crossed the border on his own earlier.
