Suspect pulls gun on employee at Atlanta Hampton Inn hotel, police say
Police are searching for a man they said pulled out a gun at an Atlanta hotel last month. APD released surveillance video of the incident. According to police, the suspect pulls the gun out on the female employee. The suspect left the building shortly after, traveling northbound on Ted Turner Drive. The backstory The charges stem from an April 18 shooting that left one man dead and another critically injured. Officers responded to 70 Newcastle Street SW around 12:17 a.m. that morning after receiving reports of a person shot. When they arrived, they found a 33-year-old man unresponsive with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel. A second victim, a 32-year-old man, was found nearby with multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical but stable condition. What we don't know Investigators released surveillance images of the individuals believed to have been involved. One was seen wearing a T-shirt that says "In Draco We Trust." The other was described as having dread-style hair and wearing a knee-length jacket. Man charged in 2023 Atlanta slaying, second suspect still sought
Atlanta police said they've arrested a man in connection with a 2023 fatal shooting, but they are still looking for a second suspect. Blain Stafford was charged Tuesday with murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, Atlanta PD reported. The arrest is in connection with the fatal shooting of Julian Kolb, 20, at 1376 Allegheny St. SW on Feb. 17, 2023, police said. Police found Kolb with apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Man injured during hit-and-run on Roswell Road, police looking for driver
