Best affordable wearable blanket: Amazon Australia hoodie that rivals The Oodie brand
That's where Amazon's top-rated YESDEX Wearable Blanket Hoodie comes in and it's just gone on sale for under $35.
This oversized hoodie-blanket hybrid is made from plush flannel on the outside and soft lamb wool on the inside, giving you double the warmth without suffocating your bank account.
Originally priced at $39, it's now marked down by 15 per cent to just $33.99, but the deal won't last forever.
What sets this wearable blanket apart is its one-size-fits-most design that genuinely delivers.
Whether you're curled up on the couch, taking your dog out on a frosty morning or braving a windy beach picnic, this snuggly layer is made to move with you.
The giant front pocket is basically the Mary Poppins bag of winter fashion, roomy enough for your phone, snacks, the TV remote, and maybe even your cat (not recommended).
There's also a plush oversized hood, which doubles as a neck pillow if you accidentally nod off mid-Netflix binge.
It's not just for homebodies, either. Fans say it's perfect for camping trips, bonfire nights, sports sidelines and even the school run.
Thanks to its generous cut, you can wear it over PJs, leggings, tracksuits, even thermals if things really get icy.
If you're worried about cleaning it, don't be. This blanket hoodie is machine washable and holds its shape and softness after every cycle.
No ironing, no fancy dry cleaning, and definitely no tears if someone spills cocoa on it.
And in true Amazon fashion, it comes with a 365-day warranty, so if anything goes wrong, whether it's a dodgy seam or something more serious, you're covered.
Just head to the 'Get Help With Order' section and their customer service team will sort it within 24 hours.
Available in a range of colours and prints, from classic neutrals to bold bights, and prices ranging between $33 to $46.99 there's one to suit every member of the household.
Yes, even your partner who 'doesn't get cold' but keeps stealing yours. At this price, maybe get two.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex wished a happy birthday by her As Ever brand
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex's As Ever brand has wished "the woman behind it all" a happy birthday. The royal turned 44 on Monday (04.08.25) and has marked the occasion by releasing new wine products through her lifestyle brand and delivering a gushing social media tribute to herself via the company's social media. A new Instagram post from As Ever is captioned: "Celebrating the woman behind it all. "She pours her heart, vision and magic touch into every detail, and today, we raise a glass to her! Happy birthday to our founder." The former Suits actress - who was known as Meghan Markle before she married Prince Harry in 2018 - also revealed on her birthday that As Ever's signature pink wine will be available to customers on Tuesday (05.08.25), making the tipple's first restock since it was unveiled in the brand's June product drop. An email message reads: "Today, our founder celebrates another year (Happy Birthday, Meghan!) and tomorrow, we're raising a glass to celebrate our newest release! "We are thrilled to share that our 2024 Napa Valley Rose is available tomorrow, Tuesday August 5." The note added: "Harvested under the California sun, this dazzling vintage embodies everything we love - it's where timeless elegance meets the spirit of summer. "We've worked thoughtfully to bring these exceptional bottles to you, and more of your other favourite As Ever products are also being restocked shortly. There is so much to celebrate, and we're honoured to share these special moments with you." Meghan and Harry - who have children Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, together - stepped back as senior working royals in 2020 and moved from the UK to California but it was reported recently that the pair's lucrative Netflix contract, said to be worth around $100 million, will not be renewed once it expires in September. The pair worked on a number of shows for the streamer - including the tell-all documentary Harry and Meghan and the Duchess' lifestyle series With Love, Meghan - but both parties feel that the arrangement has come to a natural end. A source told The Sun newspaper: "The deal is done; no more shows will be made. Netflix feel they've got all they can from the couple... They're not unhappy with how things turned out — they got those initial hits, and produced one of the most talked-about shows of all time. "There's no animosity from either side. Things have just run their course." Another insider told the Daily Mail newspaper: "They're just waiting for the credits to roll. They're letting it expire without drama. There's no appetite for anything new."

‘I hope she knows what she's talking about': Martha Stewart speaks out after Meghan Markle copycat claims
Business entrepreneur Martha Stewart has finally spoken out about Meghan Markle's fledging lifestyle brand As Ever, after the Duchess of Sussex was accused of copying Stewart's career playbook. Stewart, who was America's first self-made female billionaire, pioneered cooking and lifestyle products with her eponymous company Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. Through her company, Stewart, 83, produced dozens of best-selling cookbooks and entertaining guides, launched product lines, multiple TV programs and a monthly magazine. Stewart's success has inspired a wave of celebrities from Gwyneth Paltrow to Jessica Alba to enter the lifestyle space, with the Duchess of Sussex the latest to reinvent themselves as a 'lifestyle guru'. Meghan, 43, currently helms the Netflix cooking show With Love, Meghan and also sells jams and wines through her modest lifestyle brand As Ever. Both ventures appeared to borrow heavily from Stewart's career path and the homemaking legend was finally asked about the comparisons in a candid new interview with Yahoo Lifestyle. 'Meghan, I don't really know very well,' Stewart said. 'I hope she knows what she's talking about.' The entrepreneur then gently warned Markle that 'authenticity' was key to business success. 'Authenticity, to me, is everything, and to be authentic and knowledgeable about your subject matter is extremely important,' she said. The comments come after Markle was seen airily pulling rank on her cooking show and gently scolding guest Mindy Kaling for calling her 'Meghan Markle' instead of 'Meghan Sussex'. Meanwhile, an unnamed source close to Stewart claimed the legendary lifestyle guru privately finds any comparison to Markle's brand 'insulting'. 'Martha has seen hundreds of Meghan types come and go — and says they all come in with the same self-inflated hype, only to find out it's a whole new ball game when it comes down to brass tacks,' the source told InTouch magazine. 'She's tired of being quizzed by people over how she feels about Meghan's venture because, honestly, it's irritating and insulting to her that she's being compared to a rookie!'
