Helen Flanagan's solo holiday with daughter who she 'can't give the energy' to

Helen Flanagan has headed off on holiday with her daughter Matilda, just weeks after admitting she can't give her the 'energy' that she wishes she could share with her
Helen Flanagan has jetted abroad with her daughter, just weeks after explaining she can't give Matilda the "energy" she deserves. Just last month, the former Coronation Street actress explained she was always "preoccupied" with her son, Charlie, and believed that Matilda, nine, had been left out.

But now, the 35-year-old has made time to spend with her daughter, with the pair jetting off to Italy to spend some quality time with one another. Helen, who found fame playing Rosie Webster on the ITV soap opera, took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday to share a snap of the pair sitting in the airport, while she sipped on an orange juice, as her daughter enjoyed a hot chocolate.

A later snap saw young Matilda kicking back on board an aeroplane as she flashed a peace sign, with Helen captioning her upload: "My love and happiness." It comes after pictures emerged of inside Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash's luxurious £30k family holiday at 'second home'.

The former soap star explained how Matilda had "always been" her "best friend" due to her being the oldest child, at the age of nine.
The trip comes as Helen is celebrating her 35th birthday, with the mother and daughter "dancing" into her big day throughout the night. As she made the most of their downtime, Helen told fans that it had "always" been her and Matilda as they soaked up the Italian sun and culture during their excursions.

But while the trip is for Helen and her daughter, she did make sure to check in with her two younger children, Delilah, six, and son Charlie, four, as she shared screenshots from their FaceTime call. It comes after Helen took to social media to reflect on her motherhood journey, admitting she has found it "hard" recently.
She said: "I've felt overwhelmed and stressed the majority of the time, and I want to get back to when im present and I'm really in it and I'm really enjoying it. I always wanted to be a mum. [sic]

"I get mum guilt with Matilda as I feel like I'm always preoccupied with her brother, I can't give her the energy that I want to give her, and I feel like she always sees me at my worst. I also feel like she needs calm, which I can never be. Delilah, I feel like I'm getting it right with her, and I feel like our bond is tight, so that's something not to beat myself up about."
Helen continued: "Charlie I could pull my hair out sometimes, I feel like I've got the male version of me. Co-parenting is hard and not being a team together, and not being able to talk about your anxieties and worries for the kids.
"I suppose you can only do your best and be kind to yourself, but I wanted these on my grid for me as they make my soul happy." Despite Helen's concerns, fans were quick to compliment the star. "Juggling 3 kids is a super power I'm sure. U got this strong momma," said one.
A second continued: "It's not easy with three! But you seem like you're doing an amazing job." This Morning's Ashley James responded: "Helen. You are the BEST mum. Kids are so lucky to have you. Usually when I feel short and snappy, I know it's time for a childfree break, even just a day to lie in and recharge and not talk to anyone! If that's possible at the moment."

Emmerdale star Isabel Hodgins pregnant just months after lavish wedding amid 'tough' mood swings

Just a few months ago, Emmerdale's Isabel Hodgins and her partner Adam Whitehead tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony. Now they tell us, they're embarking on a whole new adventure Less than three months ago, newlyweds Isabel Hodgins and her husband Adam Whitehead told us, 'Having a family is definitely our next step,' when we caught up with them following their fairy-tale wedding in Manchester. It was a stylish affair attended by Isabel's Emmerdale co-stars Danny Miller, Mark Jordon, Laura Norton, Jeff Hordley and Zoë Henry. ‌ And the happy couple, neither of whom can stop smiling as OK! sits down with them for an exclusive chat, tell us they already have some very exciting news to share. Since the wedding, they have discovered they are expecting their first child. A glowing Isabel beams, 'It's something that we wanted to happen, but now it actually has, it's weird... it's still sinking in!' ‌ As we ask the actress, who has played Victoria Sugden on the ITV soap since she was 12 years old, how she broke the joyous news to her husband, she laughs, 'He actually told me!' It comes after Liam Neeson's son reacts to his dad's romance with Pamela Anderson. ‌ READ MORE: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry set for new 'goldmine' offer - but could face issue 'Isabel was late by a few days, so she did a test. But then, she just threw it on the floor and it was upside down just lying there,' explains 28-year-old Adam before Isabel, 31, adds, 'I didn't want to look at it, as I felt it would make time go slower to stare. But Mr Impatient comes along to look at it and sees that it's positive. 'But I thought, 'Surely we can't trust it because it's been upside down, so it might have impacted the result.' We rushed to Boots to buy three more, and they were all positive too, so we thought it must be right!' says Isabel, who is almost four months into her pregnancy journey now. ‌ Adam, who works as a PE teacher, met Isabel in the gym, and the pair have been together for three years. And, though they were trying to start a family, the couple – who are on cloud nine having just had a look at their little one during a baby scan — admit it has all happened faster than they could have imagined. 'It's exciting but also scary, because it has happened so fast and it's our first time,' explains Isabel. 'Originally, we booked a wedding for 2026, but then I realised I didn't want to wait that long to start a family. But I also wanted to be married first, so I kept changing the goal posts, but this was always the plan!' ‌ It's not been the easiest first trimester for Isabel, who admits she's feeling 'pretty knackered'. 'It's hard to know how to feel because you're so excited, but also, for me there's been so much fatigue. So I'm like, 'I'm so happy but please let me nap!' 'I didn't know what to expect, but I think it has been tougher than I thought because it's been a bit of a roller-coaster. But luckily, I haven't been very sick, so that's a plus,' she smiles. 'I've been cooking the tea and helping out around the house as much as I can,' confirms Adam, as Isabel jumps in, 'And dealing with my mood swings!' Adam laughs, 'Yeah, that's been tough.' ‌ The couple are already hard at work designing their little one's nursery, and are sticking to a neutral colour scheme as they have decided not to find out the baby's gender until giving birth. 'Adam is going to believe for nine months that it's a boy,' jokes Isabel, who says she'd be happy with a boy or girl, but can also picture herself with a son. And when it comes to choosing that all-important name, Isabel and Adam joke that they're going to leave that decision down to their baby. 'We've been struggling with names, especially girls' names. We think of one and then we're like, 'No, our child wouldn't suit that,' and start overthinking it,' says Adam. 'I was talking to someone and they had three names for a boy and they asked the baby the names — on a particular name the baby smiled and they were like, 'There you go, he named himself!'' laughs Isabel. While Adam and Isabel only met a few years ago, their story actually goes way back to when they were both newborns. After beginning their relationship, the couple discovered, incredibly, that they were actually born in the same hospital and even went to the same school — but due to their three-year age gap, they didn't know one another. ‌ Sadly, their baby won't be born in the same hospital they were, as Isabel says it no longer has a maternity ward, but she confirms that the pregnancy does feel like a 'full circle' moment. 'It's a weird story to tell people, the fact that we went to all these places and never knew each other until further down the line. It's something nice to tell the kids,' smiles Isabel. Isabel and Adam admit that their nearest and dearest weren't shocked at their exciting news. 'My mum just cried straight away, my parents both got emotional and gave me a hug,' says Adam. Isabel nods, saying, 'Yeah, my parents were really cute, too. It wasn't a surprise because everyone knew we wanted kids, so it was more about when it would happen.' ‌ Clearly over the moon to become parents, Adam believes his other half was born to be a mum. 'You're just a natural with kids,' he tells her. 'You just seem to gravitate to them and you want to mother them — even when they're not yours!' 'For me, I knew I wanted kids at some point but it wasn't until I met Isabel that I knew it would happen soon. Because I'm a teacher, I'm quite used to being around them and so I think it'll come quite naturally. Well, I'm hoping one baby is easier than 750 teenagers!' he laughs. ‌ While they may not be worrying too much about their parenting abilities, losing their current routine is something Adam and Isabel confess that they're feeling a little nervous about. The couple are big gym-lovers and they're both focused on their careers, so becoming mum and dad will be quite a change of pace for them. Taking a step back from Emmerdale for maternity leave, though, is something Isabel is prepared for, albeit with mixed feelings. 'I will miss it. I love the people there, but I've worked there for 19 years, so I feel like I've done what I've wanted to do and been selfish with my career. Now, it's time to devote my life to being a mum, that feels right to me. But there's still FaceTime, so they won't forget me!' So, what are the couple looking forward to most in this exciting new chapter? 'I think, seeing what we've created and meeting this little person,' says Isabel. 'Creating them into hopefully a respectable little person,' Adam says, as Isabel adds, 'Fingers crossed!'

Leonardo DiCaprio's 'covered face' sparks wave of bizarre conspiracy theories

Leonardo DiCaprio's face has got people talking—but perhaps not for the reasons you'd expect. The Hollywood star first achieved international fame with roles in Romeo & Juliet (1996) and as Titanic heartthrob Jack in 1997, going on to become one of the world's highest-paid actors and the recipient of many prestigious awards. So, given how instantly recognisable the Oscar winner is, it's no surprise he likes to conceal his identity sometimes to avoid attracting crowds. However, fans are starting to notice a trend, leading to a wild conspiracy theory that the person we've been seeing at some huge A-list events… might not have been Leo at all. In June, Leo, 50, joined Kim Kardashian, Orlando Bloom, and Sydney Sweeney in Venice for the wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez. Naturally, the whole thing was a lavish, very public affair, but it seems Leo had hopes of keeping a low profile, as he was photographed covering his face. The Revenant star pulled a black baseball cap so far down that his face was not visible at all while he roamed the Italian streets, covering his mouth with his hand. Dressed in casual attire of a white shirt and navy jacket, if you didn't know it was Leo, well, you probably wouldn't have known it was Leo, prompting questions among social media users about whether he sent a body double out in his place. Fuelling the theories, Instagram user @vickymego commented under snaps from the getaway: 'If Leonardo DiCaprio was gonna spend the whole event hiding under a cap, then what was the point of even showing up?' And after Vogue Magazine shared a video of Leo heading to the ceremony in his tux, also bowing his head to prevent his face from showing as he climbed into a waiting boat taxi, the rumours only intensified. 'What plastic surgery has he had done?', commented @isaidwhatisaid655. @scarlettmaroon4 joked: 'oops someone has gotten older and needs to hide it with a cap🤭'. 'he is losing his hair that's why', @tehpengzz speculated on the reasons for the hat. Several others declared that the man in the footage was 'not him', suggesting that 'maybe it's someone else'. Plenty also flocked to his defence, declaring that Leo is simply 'tired of the paparazzi', having been in the limelight since a young age. Although the cynical were out in force too, suggesting that the proud environmental activist felt 'embarrassed' to be at the billionaire's wedding and wanted to 'hide his hypocrisy'. This isn't the first time he's covered his face, though—far from it, in fact. The Wolf of Wall Street lead has been pictured utilising various methods of disguise in the past, whether it be a cap or something else. Dating back to 2004, Leo has shielded his face from photographers using a puffer jacket, a traditional Venetian mask in 2013, and an umbrella at the US Open in 2015. He's also frequently used sunglasses, hoodies, and his mobile phone to prevent the world from getting a glimpse of him. As for what he's said about his unsuccessful attempts at hiding in plain sight, Leo has admitted that losing his anonymity has been a downfall of his astronomical stardom. Speaking to Esquire in 2016 for a profile piece, the Golden Globe winner shared: 'I really didn't understand what fame was, and I didn't understand what being in a giant hit was, and I didn't understand what a giant hit Titanic was compared to other giant hits. 'There was no rule book. There was nobody to navigate me through the experience of being watched all the time, and nobody to tell me how to be normal when everybody is acting and looking at me differently.' The Don't Look Up star added: 'Look, if you're not careful about it, it can develop into a social anxiety. It's like, what's going to happen? What photographer is going to jump out where? What kind of thing am I being set up for? You try to talk yourself out of it, but you're never used to it.' But don't get it twisted, as while he might not always want to be front-page news, Leo has repeatedly insisted he's thankful for what he has. He previously told 20/20's Barbara Walters: 'I'm not at all going to sit here and say that I'm not completely grateful. 'I feel completely blessed for everything that has happened in my career.' Leo, as famous for his dating life as he is for his movies, is currently in a relationship with girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti, to whom he was first linked in 2023. While insights he offers into his romances, typically with younger women, are rare, he once said he wouldn't rule out settling down. 'That time will come when that time comes,' declared the famous bachelor. 'The truth is, you can't predict marriage. You can't plan it. It's just going to happen when it happens.' Got a story? Suraj Narredu emulates 'hero' Frankie Dettori at Ascot with celebratory flying dismount

Team Asia took the 2025 Shergar Cup after a thrilling final race. Narredu, the rider of winner Fireblade, was joined by Ryusei Sakai and Mirai Iwata as they saw off Europe by a single point A jockey who was inspired to get into horse racing by Frankie Dettori has emulated him by starring at Ascot. ‌ Suraj Narredu watched the sporting celebrity ride all seven winners around the track in 1996 - and wanted to try his luck in the saddle. ‌ The 40-year-old learned his trade and has since become one of India's most decorated riders, reaching 1,000 wins by the age of 25 – and notched his 2,000th in 2019. ‌ Like Dettori, Narredu has competed all over the world, in places like Dubai, Australia and the USA. But it was one of his most special career moments when he was called up to captain Team Asia at the Shergar Cup, an event around the circuit where Dettori made worldwide headlines. As well as the 'Magnificent Seven', the Italian took the Ascot Gold Cup on nine occasions and his victories at its showpiece royal meeting in June number 81. ‌ Narredu was so thrilled when Fireblade (13-2) galloped to victory in the Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup Stayers that he performed his idol's signature move, the flying dismount, in front of the crowd. The performance helped him and teammates Ryusei Sakai and Mirai Iwata to pip Europe by just a point in a thrilling conclusion. "The flying dismount was definitely a tribute to my hero," said Narredu. "It is a dream come true to do something like this over here. "On Thursday I came to have a picture here without a horse. I wanted to be in this winner's enclosure. ‌ ''All the effort we have put in in the last three or four months with the Shergar Cup in mind has paid off today. Thanks to all the prayers and blessings of India, we have done it.'' Narredu's uncle Malesh, who was part of the 2009 Shergar Cup, said: ''He has worked hard on his fitness coming into the Shergar Cup. He wanted to be at his best. I could see him working really hard at home and it has paid off." Team Asia - new for this year's competition after replacing the Ladies side - took two of the six races and picked up a crucial second place in the finale to secure the trophy. ''I am absolutely delighted," Narredu added. "To win the Shergar Cup on my debut is the icing on the cake after my winner."
