'Shouldn't that kid be wearing a life jacket?' 'Why wouldn't you have a life jacket on the baby and yourself? Boats capsize all the time…' The following day, Kardashian took to her Instagram story to issue a statement following the backlash for not putting Rocky in a life jacket. Alongside a screenshot of a website that sells children's life jackets, Kardashian shared an 'update.' 'Bought a life vest that fits! Good looking out,' she said, responding to the many comments that called her out for the oversight. 'Honestly [I] didn't think about some of the dangers,' Kardashian admitted. 'Thank you for making me aware and hopefully this helps make other mommies aware of the dangers of certain types of boating without a life vest.' In addition to their 1-year-old son, Kardashian is also a mom to Mason, Penelope, and Reign, who she shares with her ex Scott Disick. This weekend, Kourtney Kardashian Barker took to Instagram to share a collection of moments from throughout the summer. Among them were images of her boating with her 1-year-old son, Rocky, whom she shares with husband Travis Barker. Kourtney, of course, also shares a daughter, Penelope, 13, and sons Mason, 15, and Reign, 10, with her ex Scott Disick. One image showed Kourtney sitting in the back of the boat in what appears to be a bikini with a towel wrapped around her waist. Rocky rested on her chest, wearing a simple black T-shirt and tan bottoms. "Food for the soul ✨," Kourtney wrote in the post, which included other moments of her and her family in nature, including a clip of Kourtney jumping from a cliff and into water while others were swimming below. In the comments, many viewers immediately expressed concern over Rocky not wearing a life jacket. "No life jacket???" one comment with dozens of likes read in part. "Your son needs a life jacket!" another said as a third person reminded Kourtney that it's better to be "safe than sorry." "Put a life jacket on that kid for f sakes," someone wrote, as another called their actions "very dangerous." "C'mon Kourt," one more added. "You both should be wearing on that boat should be." Kourtney later took to Instagram to address the situation and thank fans for "looking out." Sharing a picture of a new infant life vest, she wrote, "Update: bought a life vest that fits!" James Norton says reaction to ‘gross' leaked photos from A Little Life was ‘gratifying'
James Norton says he felt 'gratified' by the backlash to the leaked photos that showed him during nude scenes in the stage adaptation of Hanya Yanagihara's controversial novel A Little Life. The British actor, 40, starred in the lead role as Jude, a character who suffers unrelenting abuse and misfortune both as a child and in adulthood. Critics were divided over the West End production – which ran for three hours and 40 minutes – with some praising Norton's 'dedicated performance' and others calling the play 'deeply unsettling' due to its prolonged depictions of trauma. Following the show's opening at the Richmond Theatre in London in March 2023, illicit photos of the actor during his nude scenes were published by the Daily Mail in print and online. Following an immediate and fierce backlash, the publication removed the images as it was pointed out that the theatre had placed stickers over phone cameras and shared materials telling audience members that filming and photography was prohibited. 'Violated is probably too strong [a word],' Norton told The Guardian when asked how he felt about the leaks. 'My strongest memory is that it was just a bit sad, a bit gross, this idea that it would be framed in a titillating way when the subject matter was so clearly vicious and upsetting.
