Madonna has joined the ranks of international pop stars and actresses who have decked themselves out in an Aupen handbag. The 66-year-old American singer took to her Instagram Story on June 13 to brandish her couture arm candy from the viral fashion brand founded by Singaporean Nicholas Tan, alongside the text 'Today is in the bag'. She was reportedly in New York and wore a blue polka dot blouse and denim jeans, complete with Aupen's one-of-a-kind Haute Maroquinerie bag on her right arm. It will invite clients into a deeply personal, couture-level design process – one that reimagines the handbag as a sculptural, intimate object. In close dialogue with Aupen's design team, clients will explore rare materials, shapes and colours that push beyond conventional customisation.' Aupen was founded in Singapore in November 2022. While maintaining its local roots, the bags are designed in Paris. They are available exclusively on and new styles are occasionally previewed on Instagram (@aupenofficial). The official social media account boasts pictures of a slew of celebrities wearing Aupen handbags, including British Florence Pugh, American actress Jenna Ortega and Indian actress Priyanka Chopra. While life in the spotlight may beget attention, there are some boundaries that shouldn't be breached. According to South Korean media reports, a Chinese woman in her 30s was caught attempting to break into Jungkook's home at 11.20pm (10.20pm SGT) last night (June 11). The woman was found repeatedly attempting to key in the door access code to the 27-year-old BTS star's apartment in Yongsan District, Seoul. A local resident called the police after noticing her suspicious behaviour. It was reported that the woman told officers she had travelled to South Korea to see Jungkook upon his military discharge. Investigations are ongoing to uncover the circumstances of the incident. Jungkook completed his mandatory military service yesterday morning, having enlisted alongside fellow member Jimin in the 5th Infantry Division Artillery Brigade in December 2023. Mastermind was closer than she imagined Thai actress Kornnaphat Sethratanapong, also called Orm, has been a victim of obsessive fans for a while. Earlier this January, her agency Channel 3 issued a statement confirming that people had been stalking the 23-year-old to private locations, posing a risk to her safety. The harassment persisted and it was discovered recently that her chauffeur had a part to play in the crime. According to a report by Bangkok Post yesterday, Orm's chauffeur accepted money from fans in exchange for information about her whereabouts and personal schedule. The fans would follow and stalk her to her home, taking pictures of her car and license plates as well. Orm uncovered her chauffeur's involvement when she was helping him use the GPS on a new phone, which led to her discovering chat messages on Line that revealed a stalking network. He claimed that his actions were done out of concern for Orm, which her family shot down as an excuse. [[nid:715233]] In a group chat, the involved fans exchanged information and coordinated their stalking activities, including going to Orm's home and trying to reach out to her mother. Some even booked plane tickets to sit near Orm on long flights. Five fans were reportedly arrested, with more to be apprehended as there is a larger group of stalkers including both Thai and foreign nationals. Orm's chauffeur has since been fired and legal action will be pursued. Orm is known for starring in the Thai girls' love series The Secret of Us (2024), alongside Thai-Hong Kong actress Sirilak "Lingling" Kwong. PHOTO: OLIVIATSAO1130/FACEBOOK Singaporean woman given six months' jail in Taiwan for stalking singer, threatening her online A Singaporean woman who took her fanaticism too far was sentenced to a six-month jail term by a Taipei court after she stalked and publicly harassed local singer Olivia Tsao, a multiple winner of Taiwan's Golden Melody Awards. Cassandra Low, who is in her 30s, was identified in a court judgment published by the New Taipei District Court on June 5. She was found guilty of endangering the personal safety of Tsao, stalking and harassing her and also publicly insulting the singer. According to the judgment, Low was said to have been an admirer of Tsao, and they had been exchanging personal e-mails and messages over Facebook and Instagram since November 2023. But after Tsao blocked Low on the social media platforms, she was displeased and posted verbal threats and insults targeting the Taiwanese singer, her family and her agent. In one post on her Facebook account, Low wrote: 'I can be very aggressive. The more stubborn she is... don't blame me for whatever I do to her parents.' In another, she wrote: 'Blocking me, see how I slowly let her agent die.' Low's repeated threats caused Tsao and her agent to leave their homes in New Taipei City. Her extreme behaviour came to a head in February 2025, when she followed Tsao to the Banqiao high-speed rail station after learning her idol was planning to take the train. Low successively held on to Tsao's luggage and her phone in a bid to force the singer to unblock her on social media before she was taken away by local police to assist with investigations. In a video recorded by Tsao during the February incident, Low can be seen blocking the singer's path until she agreed to a reconciliation. For her crimes, Low was sentenced to a total of six months in prison, or a commuted fine of NT$1,000 (S$43) for each day of her jail term . The court had heard that Low is a Singaporean and earned a salary that was more than double that of someone working in Taiwan, meaning that a fine alone may not provide the intended corrective impact or reflect the severity of her crimes. Low will also be deported from Taiwan after serving her sentence or paying her fine. On June 11, Tsao expressed relief at the judgment. 'This is the most comforting piece of news I have received recently,' she wrote on Instagram and Facebook, thanking those around her and her lawyer for their companionship and help.
