The makers of the upcoming mythological action-drama 'Kannappa', starring Vishnu Manchu, have issued an official statement condemning the theft and planned leak of 90 minutes of unreleased footage.
Production house confirms theft
Production house 24 Frames Factory confirmed that a hard drive containing crucial sequences — including a pivotal action scene between two lead characters and key VFX work — was stolen in transit from Hive Studios, Mumbai.
In the statement titled 'Official Statement From 24 Frames Factory Regarding The Theft Of Crucial Kanappa Footage,' the team alleged that the theft was orchestrated by individuals named Mr.
Raghu and Charita, who impersonated authorized personnel to unlawfully intercept the package.
'The motive is clear'
'It is no secret who orchestrated this attempt—both we and law enforcement are well aware of the forces at play. The perpetrator's identity is known, and the motive is clear,' the statement emphasized.
The production house also raised alarm over credible intelligence that the stolen material may soon be leaked online in a deliberate attempt to sabotage the film's release.

'It is disheartening to see such cheap and calculated tactics… This is not mischief—it is sabotage, and it reflects a deeply unfortunate descent into personal vendetta-driven behaviour,' they stated.
'We stand united with our team…'
Reassuring fans, the production house declared that the matter has been escalated to Cyber Crime authorities for swift legal action and urged the public and media to reject pirated content if it surfaces.
Their statement further read, 'We stand united with our team, our cast, and every technician who has worked with unshakable commitment to make Kannappa a cinematic landmark… Justice will be pursued with full force—and we trust that the truth, as always, will prevail.'
About 'Kannappa'
'Kannappa' is a mythological tale centered on the legend of Kannappa, a devoted follower of Lord Shiva. Apart from Vishnu Manchu, the film features Mohanlal, Prabhas, Kajal Aggarwal, and Akshay Kumar in pivotal roles, with Prabhas appearing in a 30-minute extended cameo.

All difficulty options explained in Lies of P Overture DLC
Image via NEOWIZ Lies of P: Overture is a fresh challenge, and now, for the first time, it's your choice how brutal that challenge should be. With the new Overture DLC, developer Neowiz finally adds long-requested difficulty settings, letting players tailor their experience based on how much pain (or mercy) they want from this twisted, Pinocchio-inspired soulslike. Whether you're a hardcore dodger or someone just here for the eerie narrative, this guide breaks down all the difficulty modes and how to switch between them. Every Difficulty Mode in Lies of P: Overture With the DLC update, Lies of P now offers three difficulty settings, impacting both the base game and the new Overture content. Each one changes how enemies behave, how much damage you deal and receive, and how demanding the combat feels. Lies of P - Select Difficulty (Explanation) Butterfly's Guidance, Awakened Puppet, Legendary Stalker 1. Butterfly's Guidance (Very Easy) Ideal for players more interested in the story than the struggle. Combat is toned down heavily here. It is like "cinematic mode" for soulslike skeptics. You'll breeze through battles with minimal effort, perfect for first-timers or those just soaking up the atmosphere. For you if: You want to watch the story unfold, not wrestle with every enemy encounter. 2. Awakened Puppet (Easy) This mode hits a nice middle ground. Combat still matters, but enemies are more forgiving, and parry windows are a bit more generous. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like เทรด CFDs ด้วยเทคโนโลยีเทรดสุดล้ำ และ รวดเร็วกว่า IC Markets สมัคร Undo You'll die less, rage less, and still get that classic Lies of P feel, just without the blood pressure spike. For you if: You want to fight, but not fight for your life every 30 seconds. 3. Legendary Stalker (Standard) This is the original difficulty from the base game—no hand-holding, no mercy. Perfect blocks, brutal bosses, and high tension define this setting. It's where the game was meant to be played, and the mode most soulslike veterans will likely stick to. For you if: You live for the grind and the glory. Lies of P | How To Change Difficulty How to Change Difficulty in Lies of P? You can choose your difficulty when you start a new game, but the real win here is flexibility. Jump into the Gameplay settings at any time to switch modes. No restarts. No loss of progress. Just instant adjustment based on your mood or frustration level. Boss Rush Difficulty – A Different Beast The Boss Rush mode, introduced in the Overture DLC, has its own twist: it uses levels 1–5 instead of the named difficulties. Levels 1–3 match up with Butterfly's Guidance through Legendary Stalker. Levels 4–5 are locked at first but offer extreme, unforgiving challenges for the brave (or reckless). Beat Level 3 to unlock the rest. What's the Best Difficulty for You? If you're new to Lies of P , don't let pride ruin your playthrough. Start with Awakened Puppet or Butterfly's Guidance to learn the ropes, then move up when you're ready. The core experience remains intact - creepy world, tight combat, and haunting boss battles, but just at your pace.

Gautam Adani visits Chinese equipment makers as US legal woes linger
Indian billionaire Gautam Adani traveled to China last week to meet industrial equipment manufacturers, marking what appears to be his first overseas trip since the US unveiled criminal and civil cases against him in November. The visit, including to a solar module maker, underscores Adani's continued efforts to maintain momentum in renewables even as he faces heightened scrutiny abroad. Sagar Adani , who oversees the green arm of the conglomerate's sprawling empire, accompanied his uncle on the trip, according to a social media post by one of the companies he visited. The trip to China could signal a renewed push for international engagement as Gautam Adani tries to shake off controversies, from US legal troubles to investor concerns about corporate governance practices, following a bruising short-seller report in early 2023. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like The Prices of Solar Panels Might Actually Surprise You Solar Panels | Search Ads Get Info Asia's second-richest person, along with his nephew Sagar, face criminal and civil charges in the US over their alleged involvement in a $250 million bribery scheme to pay regional officials in India to lock in solar-power contracts. — BROAD_ltd (@BROAD_ltd) Live Events The Adani Group has denied the claims, though both Gautam and Sagar have curtailed their international travel since the indictment was announced. The Indian conglomerate is building one of the largest renewable energy parks — five times the size of Paris — near India's western coast with solar panels and wind turbines. The billionaire visited a Jinko Solar Co. manufacturing plant, inspecting the facility's automated production lines, the Shanghai-based company said in a statement on June 4. Its energy storage solutions are well-suited to India's high-temperature conditions and will be integrated into Adani's projects to bolster grid stability and renewable energy absorption, it said. Adani also visited Broad Group's facilities, the Chinese firm said in a post on X. The company has a range of subsidiaries that includes a wind turbine manufacturer. A spokesperson for Adani didn't immediately comment. The group's renewable energy ramp up plans are crucial for two of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi 's policy pledges — making the country carbon neutral by 2070 and self-reliant, especially in manufacturing. India is one of the biggest markets for China's solar modules and Adani's visit could also signal room for better business ties between the two countries. While relations between the nuclear-armed neighbors remain fraught, there have recently been signs of a thawing. In January, they agreed to resume direct flights, facilitate visas and restart sharing data of trans-border rivers. A few months later, the nations announced the resumption of an annual pilgrimage to the Tibet Autonomous Region, organized by India's foreign ministry, that had been suspended for years after border clashes erupted.

1 Month After Wedding To Raja Raghuvanshi, Sonam's Murder Confession
New Delhi: Exactly one month after her marriage to 29-year-old Raja Raghuvanshi, Sonam Raghuvanshi, 24, has confessed to her role in his murder during their honeymoon in Meghalaya, sources have told NDTV. The confession, according to sources, was made during police interrogation. Under Indian law, confessions made to police officers are not admissible in court. For any such statement to hold evidentiary value, it must be recorded before a magistrate. The confession follows the arrest of Sonam and her alleged boyfriend, Raj Kushwaha, earlier this week. Kushwaha, 21, worked at Sonam's family business and is alleged to have maintained a romantic relationship with her both before and after her marriage to Raja. READ | Raincoat, 'Khukri', And Blood: New Details In Sonam Raghuvanshi Case Raja and Sonam got married on May 11 in Indore. Ten days later, they departed for their honeymoon in Meghalaya. By May 23, both had gone missing. Raja's body was discovered on 2 June in a gorge in East Khasi Hills. Sonam surfaced in Uttar Pradesh's Ghazipur on 8 June, claiming to be unwell. She surrendered to local police and was placed under arrest. Timeline and Sequence of Events May 11: Marriage in Indore May 21: Couple arrives in Shillong; checks into Balaji Guest House May 22: Scooty rented from Keating Road; couple travels to Sohra (Cherrapunji) May 23: Last seen alive by local guide during trek near Nongriat village May 24: Scooty found abandoned in Sohrarim June 2: Decomposed body of Raja recovered from gorge near Weisawdong Falls June 7-8: Arrests made; Sonam surrenders According to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the case, three hired men, Akash, Anand, and Vikash, travelled from Indore to Shillong in phases to avoid detection. CCTV footage, train tickets, and Aadhaar card photocopies helped confirm their identities and movements. Police say the killers joined the couple on a trek on May 23, posing as fellow tourists. A local guide, Albert Pde, told investigators he offered to assist the group but was declined. He recalled the group spoke in Hindi and chose a more remote, rugged path away from the tourist-heavy Double Decker Living Root Bridge. The Killing According to the police, Sonam deliberately lagged behind during the trek and gave the cue by shouting "kill him". That was when one of the three accused allegedly struck Raja with a sharp weapon. The others joined in, attacking his head and torso. Raja's body was dragged to a gorge and pushed over. Sonam allegedly assisted in hiding the body and disposing of incriminating evidence. From there, she left the scene, took a taxi to Shillong, and is believed to have travelled by train to Indore via Guwahati. The three killers split up and escaped via Guwahati, eventually returning to Madhya Pradesh.
