The golfer was spotted by some fans partying in a beach club to loud music.
The fans were keen to know why he was not wearing his green blazer that he earned for winning the Masters in April.
They typed out a message on their phone reading "Where's the Green Jacket?".

They also tried shouting the question to McIlroy, but could not be heard over the loud music.
McIlroy eventually spotted the fans and bounced his way over to them, clutching a
wine
glass.
He answered their question brilliantly as he joked: "It's on the
yacht
."
The group of them burst out laughing as they enjoyed the vibes of the party.

McIlroy appeared very relaxed with his friends as he wore a jacketless outfit of a black shirt and swim trunks paired with a backwards cap.
The moment has gone viral on social media with plenty of fans enjoying the golfer's humour.

A visibly moved Hollie Doyle paid homage to her long-standing partner Trueshan, following the tragic loss of one of Flat racing's stalwarts at Goodwood on Tuesday. He's been amazing for me, a star, and those memories we have together are some of my very best.' A 16-time winner – three of them coming at Group One level – Trueshan had attracted a following that is unusual for a Flat horse due to his longevity. In 2022 he dropped into handicap company to defy one of the highest marks in recent times when winning the Northumberland Plate at Newcastle. James Given, the British Horseracing Authority's director of equine welfare, told ITV Racing: 'I want to express my sincere condolences to all the connections and anyone associated with the horse, no one is going to feel this more than them. 'He's been a stalwart, he's been a firm friend, he's been everything to them 'What has happened unfortunately is just an accident, mid-race, in a straight line going up a hill. His left-hind pastern broke and left him in a situation that wasn't recoverable from. 'Alan was able to get down there and assess him with the vet and they felt there was no option really but to put him down.'

Separate lives: Tell-tale signs Patrick Kielty and Cat Deeley drifted apart
Comedian Patrick Kielty and Cat Deeley have announced their shock split after 13 years of marriage. However, the duo were seemingly living separate lives in the build-up to the surprise announcement. The TV duo revealed today (Tuesday, July 29) that they are no longer a couple in a bombshell statement. But prior to the announcement the pair hadn't been pictured together in public in over a year. The last snap of the couple side by side was taken in 2023. They appeared happy in the image as they attended the Ballywalter London premiere at The May Fair Hotel on September 18, 2023. At the time, she shared a post on her social media with the duo smiling as they got ready for the occasion and then sat in the crowd. Patrick was later welcomed on stage. Cat wrote on her Instagram: "Magical evening last night at the London Premiere of @BallywalterFilm!. Celebrating the talents of @PatricKielty & @SeanaKerslake, director @PrasannaBanana, and the brilliant cast & crew! And fast forward almost two years and the couple is no more after seemingly fading out of Cat's social media presence. It also comes after Cat didn't send Patrick a fathers day message last month. The exes share two kids together. Prior to their announcement, the couple had moved their family from Los Angeles to London in 2023. It came after living in the States for 15 years. Now, in a joint statement released to the PA news agency, they said: 'We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved.
