First look at Love Island final as final four couples hope to bag £50,000 prize money

Daily Mirror4 days ago
Love Island 2025 wraps up tonight as the four final couples will be treated to a one last date before finding out who will be waltzing off with the prize money
Love Island's finale looks set to be a belter in a first look at the show, which airs tonight. After weeks of drama under the Spanish sun, the four final couples will be treated to one last date before finding out who will be declared the winners and waltz off with the £50,000 prize money.

Host, Maya Jama, will be in charge of proceedings as Yasmin Pettet and Jamie Rhodes, Angel Swift and Ty Isherwood, Shakira Khan and Harry Cooksley and Toni Laites and Cach Mercer enjoy one last night in the villa.

In a sneak peek at the finale, the girls look sensational as they get glammed up one last time. Sporting a plunging black dress, Angel stuns in a see-through lace skirt, while Yas pulls out all the stops in a one-shoulder frock complete with a thigh-high slash. Shakira, meanwhile, plumps for a blue satin evening gown while Toni is more casual in a black bandeau top and matching tulle skirt. It comes after it was revealed that all Love Island winners get sent a special gift in the post every yea r - but it's not as glamorous as you might think!

This year's couples can be seen enjoying one last date in the villa before the finale tonight as Yas and Jamie toast each other with a glass of bubbles.
Angel and Ty are also seen enjoying a bubbly breakfast before the whole gang is treated to a slap-up dinner later in the evening.

As the 12th series of Love Island comes to an end after eight weeks filled with romance, arguments, tension, love-triangles, and chaos, fans await with excitement to witness who will be crowned the 2025 winners of the ITV2 show.
Tonight, viewers will finally discover which couple is the public's favourite as Shakira and Harry, Yasmine and Jamie, Toni and Cach, and Angel and TY battle it out to win the coveted £50,000 and the title of the 2025 winners.

Shakira and Harry are currently favourites to win Love Island 2025, according to the bookies. This may surprise some viewers, especially as they are one of the newer couples to snuggle up after weeks of exploring other connections.
However, from the feedback on social media, it seems people believe that the pair are the real deal.

In second place are Toni and Cach, who recently became exclusive after a turbulent time in the villa. Toni originally chose Harrison over Cach; however, following his departure from the villa, she realised the mistake she had made. Since then, they have been working on getting back on track.

Hannah Hampton admits throwing Spain counterpart's water bottle into crowd

England goalkeeper Hannah Hampton has revealed how she threw the water bottle of Spanish rival Cata Coll into the stands – ditching its tactical notes – as the Lionesses went on to complete a dramatic penalty shoot-out win in the European Championship final. Chelsea stopper Hampton had England's own insider information written on a piece of paper taped to her arm – which proved crucial with stops from Mariona Caldentey and Aitana Bonmati before Chloe Kelly scored the decisive kick as the Lionesses retained the trophy. The 24-year-old admitted she took the opportunity to try to negate any impact Spain's penalty research might have, with Coll still saving efforts from Beth Mead and then captain Leah Williamson during the shoot-out, which England won 3-1. 🤷‍♂️ "I chucked her bottle into the English fans so she can't have it!" 🫢 "She was so confused and I was trying to not burst out laughing!" This is a sensational story from @HannahHampton_ on how she helped @Lionesses win the Euros! 🤣👏 — talkSPORT (@talkSPORT) August 8, 2025 'The Spanish keeper had it on her bottle,' Hampton told talkSPORT. 'So I thought when she was going in goal I'll just pick it up and throw it into the English fans so she can't have it.' Hampton added: 'I never put it on a bottle because anyone can do that, so that is why I put it on my arm, and the TV caught that. 'It wasn't hard – when she has gone in the goal it (the bottle) is on its own isn't it? It is in a towel, you just pick it up. 'Mine is blank, but it has the same sponsors and stuff so I just put mine in there, chucked her one into the fans and she had an empty bottle, she was looking for where it is. 'She was walking back and I was walking the other way. She was so confused. 'I was trying so hard not to burst out laughing (because) I was like 'oh, I don't know where it has gone'…. but you have got to do something haven't you?' England had also come through a dramatic penalty shoot-out win over Sweden, where both sides failed to convert spot-kicks at crucial moments – which Hampton described as 'traumatic' and 'horrendous'. However, the Chelsea keeper, who was named in UEFA's team of the tournament, felt much more relaxed ahead of the final showdown with Spain, which had ended 1-1 after extra-time in Basel. Congratulations, Hannah! 🤩 Hannah Hampton has been nominated for the 2025 Yachine Trophy, recognising the world's best female goalkeepers #ballondor — Lionesses (@Lionesses) August 7, 2025 'I was probably more comfortable in the fact that I knew we had practised penalties since that first one, so I knew we would put a few more in the back of the net,' Hampton said. 'Before the games we as a keeper group have meetings and we analyse every penalty that each individual from the opposing team has had – I think Alexia (Putellas) had 46 penalties we had to sit there and watch. 'You will watch it and pick out little things they do, whether they go one side or the other or have little subtleties in their run up or even their arm position. 'Then pressure penalties, where they tend to put them, you see all of that and then you see their run up and adapt in the moment to it.'
