Kohl's appoints a new chief technology officer
Dee, who has more than 25 years of experience in technology and a track record of driving results, scaling technology teams, and delivering innovative tech solutions, will join Kohl's executive leadership team on August 25 and will report directly to interim chief executive Michael Bender.
Most recently, Dee was chief information and technology officer for Rodan + Fields, an American skincare and haircare company. Before that, he ran technology operations at Nike, Hayneedle and J.Crew and has 12 years of leadership experience at Accenture, leading clients through transformational programs in the consumer goods and retail spaces.
In his new role with Kohl's, he will be responsible for overseeing all technology and information platforms supporting the company's omnichannel business.
Commenting on the appointment, Bender said in a statement: "We are happy to welcome Steve to the Kohl's team during this important time for the company. As an omnichannel retailer, it's critical for our business to have smart, agile tech solutions that both drive the work and enable operational effectiveness.
'Steve is well-positioned to help accelerate our strategic goals and enhance the experiences we deliver to our customers and teams."
Dee added: "Retail is an exciting and dynamic industry that depends on smart, scalable technology solutions to serve associates all across the country, enable the systems that run operations, and ultimately improve the way Kohl's can serve our customers. I look forward to joining the leadership team and driving the goals of this great company."

Taking around nine hours, the bargain flights cost as little as £275 return. It is the only airline route that connects London Gatwick to Miami. Brits will now have to head to London Heathrow instead to fly to the American city. It will also cost a lot more - the cheapest route we can find is around £405 return, with BA and Virgin offering alternative options. Other European routes have also been cancelled by Norse. These include: Berlin to New York Paris to Los Angles Paris to New York Oslo to New York Athens to Los Angeles There is some good news however, as the airline is launching more flight routes from the UK to Asia and Africa. Man who won £220 on lottery instantly buys another ticket and 'starts shaking'
The lucky lottery player detailed his reaction to the shock win and revealed the modest plans he has for his and his family's new fortune A Michigan man's decision to try his luck on the lottery has paid off with a life-changing windfall. The 39-year-old's luck began when he bought a Jumbo Jackpot Slots Fast Cash ticket for $30 (£22.30) and won ten times the amount as the prize. Feeling lucky, the American decided to spend $20 (£14.86) of his winnings on a Super Lucky 7s ticket at the Exit 76 — Meadowbrook on Town Center Court Southeast in Grand Rapids. Arguably the best decision he's ever made, buying that ticket led to him winning an eye-watering prize fund of $714,891 (£531,335). Speaking of his surprise, the winner, who has chosen to stay anonymous, said: 'When I cashed that ticket, I used $20 of my winnings to buy a Super Lucky 7s ticket. 'I scanned the ticket on the Michigan Lottery app and started shaking when I saw I'd won $714,891. The first thing I did was walk over and give the cashier a hug!' According to a press release from Michigan Lottery officials, the lucky man doesn't have the typical plans of a lottery winner. Instead of a lavish holiday or a fancy car, he is instead planning on paying some bills, putting some of the amount into his children's college funds, and then saving the remainder. Fast Cash is an instant-win game with 'a progressive jackpot that can be won instantly,' lottery officials state. Tickets range in price from $2 (£1.48) to $30. According to officials, all of the Fast Cash games feed into one jackpot, which grows with every ticket purchased. The jackpot can be won at any time, and a new jackpot begins after the last one is won. He isn't the first lottery winner with an extraordinary story behind his jackpot. Back in 2013, retired HGV driver David Long and his wife Kathleen won a staggering £1million on the EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker prize. In a surprising turn of events, the couple beat the odds of 283billion to one and scooped £1m for a second time two years later. Giving an update 10 years on from their first win, David told The Sun: "We're not extravagant people. 'We still live in a mobile home, believe it or not.
