And SunSport understand Amorim, 40, is also planning for the future with Man Utd eyeing Sinate, 19.
The Red Devils will follow the left-back's progress throughout this coming season.
That is after the Manchester giants' scouts were left impressed by the Mali youth international's displays during the Maurice Revello Tournament.
Sinate stood out while playing with Mali's Under-20s during this year's edition in June.

Nevertheless, a move seems more likely next summer or January the earliest.
The full-back can also play as a centre-back as well as a midfielder and has stood out thank to his dribbling, positioning, technique and confidence on the ball.
The defender has also played for Alaves as well as Monaco, where he amassed two goals in 40 appearances with the Under-19s.
Sinate would be joining former team-mate and fellow Mali international Sekou Kone if he moved to United.

Kone, 19, is already turning heads at Old Trafford after playing in both of the Red Devils' post-season matches in Asia.
According to The Mail, the midfielder has won over Amorim and his coaching staff with his displays during pre-season.
Bryan Mbeumo explains his reasons for joining Man Utd
And so the Portuguese tactician and the club have decided to cancel the defensive midfielder's planned loan move to Ineos-owned Lausanne.

West Ham eye move for forgotten £35million Arsenal star

West Ham are looking to accelarate their summer recruitment drive and are eyeing a move for Arsenal outcast Fabio Vieira. Much was expected for the Portugal Under-21 international when he joined the Gunners from Porto three years ago. After showing only flashes of potential during two indifferent, injury interrupted seasons in north London, Vieira was loaned back to his boyhood club last term. The 25-year-old regained some of the confidence that marked him out as such an exciting talent but securing a permanent return to the Portuguese club was beyond Porto's financial means. Vieira has been linked with a £20m move to Parma who are now managed by Mikel Arteta's former assistant Carlos Cuesta. Wake up to find news on your club in your inbox every morning with Metro's Football Newsletter. Whether the Serie A club are able to meet Arsenal's valuation remains to be seen, but the Hammers are now expressing an interest, as per Ben Jacobs. No club-to-club talks have taken place yet, but the creative midfielder has been added to a list of potential targets in the knowledge he has been deemed surplus to requirements by Arteta. With Martin Odegaard now back to full fitness and the likes of Ethan Nwaneri and Max Dowman emerging as credible first team options, Vieira wasn't included in the squad that departed for its pre-season tour last week. Dowman, in particular, has caught the eye in the friendly wins over AC Milan and Newcastle. More Trending Indeed, the 15-year-old sensation played a key role against the Magpies, winning the late penalty that saw Odegaard secure a second successive victory from the spot. 'Yeah, it is special,' said Arteta on Sunday. 'Obviously what he's done today against this team in the time that he had on the pitch is something certainly not common to witness for a 15-year-old. 'We are extremely happy to have him. I think again the environment that he's around in, his family, the people at the club and around the academy as well. 'Super helpful because they put him into this position so early in his journey having a real chance and a real presence when he plays for the first team.' Transfer news live: Liverpool move for Isak, Arsenal close in on Eze, Rodrygo battle, Man United's £35m bid

The summer transfer window is about to enter its final month with hundreds of millions already splashed on some major signings. Arsenal have completed the signing of Viktor Gyokeres, closing out a deal worth £63m for the forward who was unveiled as a new Gunner during their pre-season match against Newcastle on Sunday. The Gunners have also confirmed the signing of Cristhian Mosquera in defence and they now have their sights on Crystal Palace's Eberechi Eze. Liverpool have signed Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt in a £79m deal having beaten off interest from Newcastle to secure his signature. The Reds have also agreed to sell Luis Diaz to Bayern Munich which could challenge the resolve of Newcastle who are holding firm in their valuation of Alexander Isak. Isak has requested to 'explore his options' away from the club with a move to Liverpool seemingly the likeliest destination as the Premier League champions aim to strengthen their forward line. Elsewhere, Manchester United have completed the signing of Bryan Mbeumo who joins Matheus Cunha in Ruben Amorim's new-look attack though the manager is still hopeful of securing a No.9 before the start of the season. Marcus Rashford has completed a loan move to Barcelona while Jadon Sancho is drawing interest from Juventus as the club also focus on outgoings. Meanwhile, Chelsea have their sights on a Dutch duo of Xavi Simons and centre-back Jorrel Hato. Rodrygo to Liverpool? Could this really happen? It's quite possible now. Foot Mercato in France are reporting that Liverpool have opened talks with Real Madrid winger Rodrygo. The 24-year-old winger is out of favour under Xabi Alonso and could seek a move this summer. L'Equipe also detailed how Rodrygo would 'without a doubt' replace Luis Diaz, should the Colombian international leave this summer and now he has agreed a deal to make the switch to Bayern Munich. Alexander Isak is seemingly next on Liverpool's target list but should Newcastle remain firm in their £150m valuation, the Reds could target Rodrygo instead. Mike Jones29 July 2025 08:25 Manchester United make offer for Hjulmand Manchester United have reportedly tabled an offer for Sporting midfielder Morten Hjulmand. According to Calciomercato, United have submitted a bid worth €40m (£35m) for the Sporting captain would would reunite with former boss Ruben Amorim should he make the move to Old Trafford. United have decided to send Toby Collyer out on loan which means there is space in midfield for Hjulmand to slot into. Sporting wanted any move for Hjulmand to meet his €80m release clause but will apparently settle for a figure closer to €50m. Mike Jones29 July 2025 08:23 Liverpool could submit bid for Isak this week The Daily Mail report that Liverpool are readying to submit an official bid for Alexander Isak this week having boosted their financial power with a deal to sell Luis Diaz to Bayern Munich. Newcastle boss, Eddie Howe, has admitted there was 'no chance' Isak would be meeting up with the squad in Asia which gives rise to an expected move away from the club. The club value Isak at £150m but it will be tough to extract that price out of Liverpool though a high bid - somewhere between £100-£130m - is expected. The Magpies will need to decide whether it is worth cashing in on Isak or forcing him to stay as he has three years left on his current deal. Mike Jones29 July 2025 08:18 Arsenal strike agreement with Eze? Football365 and French media oulet, Sports Zone report that Arsenal have a reached an agreement with Eberechi Eze over personal terms for a possible transfer to the Emirates stadium. The Gunners still need to negotiate terms and fees with Crystal Palace but should the clubs come to an understanding Eze will be poised to join Mikel Arteta's side. Eze holds a £68m release clause in his contract with the Gunners hoping to negotiate a price closer to £60m. Mike Jones29 July 2025 08:17

Eddie Howe makes Alexander Isak transfer statement as Newcastle reality becomes clear

Alexander Isak's future at Newcastle is now front and centre in the transfer market and Eddie Howe admits he is not the one calling the shots regarding the Swede's next move Eddie Howe has underlined that Alexander Isak is "still our player" amid the uncertainty surrounding his Newcastle future - but admits he's not in "full control" of whether the player stays or goes. ‌ The Swede has made it clear he wants to explore his options away from the Magpies - with Liverpool his most likely destination if he does depart. It would take a British-record fee before Newcastle did choose to sell up this summer however. ‌ Isak is not part of the club's pre-season tour at present and Howe admitted there are no plans for him to join his team-mates in the Far East. Injury is thought to have kept him at home, but the club are equally trying to control the noise around his future. ‌ Howe is yet to lose one of his leading lights since taking charge at Newcastle. The club have been able to warn off suitors when the likes of Bruno Guimaraes and Anthony Gordon have been linked with the exit door, but Isak's situation presents a new challenge. The Newcastle boss said: "He is still our player. He's contracted to us. We, to a degree, control what is next for him. I would love to believe all possibilities are still available to us. My wish is that he stays, but that's not in my full control" Newcastle would demand £150m before they considered cashing in on Isak, who has just enjoyed the best season of his career. He scored in eight straight Premier League games, one being against suitors Liverpool. He also netted against the Reds as the Magpies won the Carabao Cup back in March. It has proved to be a difficult summer for Howe, who has seen a number of his targets head elsewhere. The likes of Joao Pedro and James Trafford have opted for other moves and now he accepts there will be a collaborative approach regarding the future of Isak, who he does want to keep. He said last week: "There's a whole football club that has to make the decision. The ownership, together with the board of directors, especially with the money involved in modern day transfers. The manager of course has an opinion, but ultimately the decision will rest with the board." Newcastle have reportedly identified the likes of Benjamin Sesko and Yoan Wissa as possible replacements should Isak leave. Sesko was recently on Arsenal's radar before they signed Viktor Gyokeres whilst Manchester United are keen on Watkins.
