STAMFORD, Conn. – July 9, 2025 –More than 100 hours of live coverage of the 2025 World Aquatics Championships from Singapore will stream exclusively on Peacock beginning this Friday, July 11 at 12:10 a.m. ET. All finals in all disciplines across swimming, diving, water polo, open water swimming, and artistic swimming will be presented live on Peacock.
From July 11 through Aug. 3, Peacock will stream over 100 hours of live coverage featuring many of the top U.S. Olympic medalists from Paris competing against elite international fields in swimming, diving, water polo, artistic swimming, and open water swimming. This will be the first time that Singapore has hosted this event.
Live coverage begins this Friday with U.S. women's and men's water polo at 12:10 a.m. ET and 10:35 p.m. ET, respectively, and with open water swimming beginning Monday at 9 p.m. ET with the women's 10km final.
Team USA TV will present preliminaries and select semi-finals action from the artistic swimming and diving competitions. Team USA TV is a free ad-supported TV channel, launched in partnership by the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee, NBCUniversal, and FAST Studios. The U.S. men's water polo team earned the bronze medal at the Paris Olympics, their first trip to the podium since 2008, while the women finished in fourth place. The U.S. men are currently ranked sixth in World Aquatics' world rankings, while the women are third. All U.S. water polo matches will be presented live on Peacock.
The U.S. is sending an impressive contingent of athletes to Singapore for artistic swimming and open water swimming, with 2024 Paris Olympic team silver medalists Anita Alvarez and Dani Ramirez and Paris Olympic 4x200m freestyle silver medalist Claire Weinstein, who recently won the 5km at the U.S. National Open Water Championships, all expected to compete.
Olympic gold medalists Katie Ledecky, Leon Marchand, and Torri Huske headline swimming coverage beginning Saturday, July 26, live on Peacock. Additional details on the swimming portion of the World Aquatics Championships will be released closer to the start of competition.

And according to TMZ Sports, Laila Ali said that if Claressa wanted her to come out of retirement, she would have to come up with a 'boatload of money' to the tune of $15 million, which Shields has since said she has done. But still, there is no fight, and Shields has a theory why. While arriving at lunch with controversial boyfriend, Papoose, the boxer ran into TMZ Sports, and Shields didn't pull any punches, stating, 'Layla is scared to fight me, and I would be scared to fight me, too. I get it.' Shields believes that Ali's reluctance stems from a different era of women's boxing, one that she feels was defined by less competitive matchups. 'We're in a generation now where the women fight each other. We don't duck each other. And back in [Laila's] generation, that's all she did. So it is what it is,' she explained. The lack of action has clearly taken its toll on Shields, who admitted to TMZ that she has lost all respect for the retired Ali. When asked, Shields went on to make a very powerful comparison, bringing up Ali's late, great father, Muhammad Ali. 'Absolutely, listen, Muhammad Ali would never. Her daddy would never,' Shields stated. 'If you called out Muhammad Ali, he was coming to check you, and he was coming to lay hands on you. Maybe she don't have that in her genes.' According to Shields, the sport is now defined by its most prominent fighters challenging one another, with recent matchups like the Katie Taylor-Amanda Serrano trilogy serving as prime examples. These fighters are not shying away from competition, a sentiment that Shields feels was not as prominent during Ali's career. Prior to Claressa's TMZ interview, Laila Ali told fans that she'd respond to the fellow boxer's offer in her own time. 'To all of you poking around wanting me to give you an answer, the answer is yes, I'm going to answer your question when I'm good and ready,' said Ali in an IG Live as captured by The Art Of Dialogue. But while Crochet sees the international tournament as an intriguing opportunity, the Red Sox are expected to see it differently. Historically, Team USA has had a hard time convincing top pitchers to participate in the event, as it raises their chances of being hurt and adds some competitive innings totals to their arms. Though he's proven to be resilient since becoming a starter last season, Crochet has a significant injury history from earlier in his career. And the Red Sox just made a long-term investment in him. As a result, the team might deny him the honor of joining Team USA. "Crochet has said he'd like to be a part of it, but I can't see the Sox signing off — given the number of arm injuries that tend to show up in spring training and Crochet's importance to the franchise," MassLive's Sean McAdam wrote. "Traditionally, the Red Sox have seemed to discourage participation — the last Sox player to take part in the WBC was Shane Victorino in 2013." Given his sustained success this season, Crochet is surely drawing interest from Team USA. And it sounds like he's ready to accept an invitation, though his time will probably intervene.
