Hulk Hogan's ex-wife Linda Hogan gushed about sharing 'good old days' with the wrestling icon days before his death.
Her post has come to light after Hulk passed away aged 71 on Thursday (24.07.25) morning following a cardiac arrest at his home in Clearwater, Florida.
Linda shared a nostalgic photo of her with Hulk on Instagram and captioned it: 'The good old days.'
Her throwback snap, taken by a photography agency, showed her gazing at Hogan while dressed in a black costume at a 1996 convention.
Hulk, real name Terry Bollea, was pronounced dead at Morton Plant Hospital after emergency services were called at 9.51am and he was treated by fire crews.
Linda Hogan, 65, was married to the wrestling star for over two decades before the couple divorced in 2009.
The pair were familiar to fans through the VH1 reality show Hogan Knows Best, which aired from 2005 to 2007.
Linda and Hulk had two children together – Brooke and Nick – after marrying in 1983 at a ceremony attended by fellow wrestling figures Andre the Giant and Vince McMahon.
Despite having previously criticised Hogan in the media, calling him a 'complete liar' and 'sex addict' in a video posted in March, Linda later acknowledged Hulk had been 'a good father'.
In recent years, Hulk had faced several health issues, including chronic back and neck pain.
Last month, he underwent a four-level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion, a major spinal surgery. His wife Sky Daily, 45, a yoga instructor whom he married in 2022, addressed false reports at the time Hulk was in a coma.
She said: 'His heart is strong, and there was never any lack of oxygen or brain damage. None of those rumors are true.'
Writing on Instagram, Sky added: 'He's been recovering from a major four-level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and (Fusion), which is an intense surgery with a long and layered healing process. If you look it up, you'll see what the last six weeks have involved… not just for his spine, but also for his vocal cords, and the eating/breathing tubes that are clamped over during surgery.
'He's healing and we're taking it one day at a time with love, strength, and patience.'
Days before Hulk's death, Jimmy Hart, the wrestler's former close friend and ex-manager, posted a health update on X, writing: 'Hulk is doing great, doing phenomenal!'
According to police and hospital documents, Hulk had been in and out of medical care for some time prior to his death, which came after a prolonged period of health complications linked to his years of physical exertion in professional wrestling.

How Sharon Osbourne and her kids each paid tribute to Ozzy at funeral procession

The Osbournes put on a united front as they honored Ozzy Osbourne at his funeral procession in his UK hometown on Wednesday. Sharon Osbourne, her kids Jack, Kelly and Aimee, and her stepson Louis all broke down in tears as they said goodbye to the heavy metal icon alongside thousands of fans in streets of Birmingham, England. Each member of the famous family subtly included touching references to Ozzy. Sharon, 72, wore Ozzy's wedding ring on a chain around her neck. The former 'America's Got Talent' judge, who was married to Ozzy for 43 years before his death at age 76, had to be consoled by her kids as she laid purple flowers at a memorial during the funeral procession. Jack, 39, honored his dad with a small silver cross pin that he wore at the end of his tie. The pin referenced Ozzy's silver cross pendants that were part of his iconic look. Kelly, 40, sported a pair of round wire-rimmed sunglasses, another one of Ozzy's signature styles. Aimee, 41, for her part, wore a bat broach on her black blazer. The Black Sabbath frontman infamously bit the head off a real bat in 1982, thinking it was a toy animal, during a concert. Louis, who is Ozzy's son from his marriage to ex-wife Thelma Riley, celebrated the rocker's legacy by wearing a purple tie with skull and crossbones symbols. Black and purple were the colors most associated with Ozzy's band. Kelly's fiancé, Sid Wilson, and their 2-year-old son, Sidney, also attended the funeral procession. Ozzy's daughter Jessica, 45, and adopted son Elliot Kingsley, both from his first marriage, appeared to skip the event. The Prince of Darkness' family announced his death last Tuesday. 'It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,' the statement read. 'He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis.' Ozzy, who was suffering from Parkinson's diagnosis and other ailments, made his funeral wishes clear before he died. 'I do want to make sure it's a celebration, not a mope-fest,' he said in a Dear Ozzy column for The Times of London in 2011. 'I'd also like some pranks: maybe the sound of knocking inside the coffin; or a video of me asking my doctor for a second opinion on his diagnosis of 'death,'' the musician added. 'There'll be no harping on the bad times.' Two days before the funeral, People reported that Sharon is 'heartbroken' in the wake of her husband's death. 'Everyone's rallying around her,' a source told the outlet. 'She's been the rock of this family for decades, and now it's her turn to be held up.' Meanwhile, Kelly broke her silence after Ozzy's passing on her Instagram Stories last Thursday. 'I feel unhappy I am so sad. I lost the best friend I ever had ðŸ'',' the former 'Fashion Police' co-host wrote. The quotes referenced lyrics from Black Sabbath's 'Changes.' Hulk Hogan 'felt weak and embarrassed' before passing away

Hulk Hogan felt "weak" and "embarrassed" shortly before he passed away. The wrestling legend died from cardiac arrest on July 24, aged 71, and Eric Bischoff, his good friend, has now shared details of his last-ever meeting with Hogan. Speaking on the 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff podcast, he explained: "I could tell he was weak. He sounded tired. "[Hogan] said, 'I really want to see you, but I'm kind of embarrassed for you to see me this way because I've been pretty sick.' When I look at you, I don't see the same thing you see when you look in the mirror, so f*** that, I'll be down Monday." Hogan's personality still shone through in their conversations, despite his health struggles. Eric shared: "It was work for him to have a conversation but he was the same guy." Earlier this week, Brooke Hogan took to social media to pay tribute to her dad and to reflect on their turbulent relationship. The 37-year-old star said on Instagram: "When he left this earth, it felt like part of my spirit left with him. I felt it before the news even reached us. I know he's at peace now, out of pain, and in a place as beautiful as he imagined. He used to speak about this moment with such wonder and hope. Like meeting God was the greatest championship he'd ever have." Brooke also used her post to "clear a few things up" regarding their estrangement. The realty star wrote: "It was a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear, know, or understand. My father was confiding in me about issues weighing on his heart, both personal and business. I offered to be a life raft in whatever capacity he needed. I told him he had my support. I begged him to rest, to take care of himself." Brooke and her husband, Steven Olesky, actually moved closer to the wrestler as he battled with health problems. She said: "We had been through almost 25 surgeries together, and then all of a sudden he didn't want me at surgeries…everything started getting covered in a thick veil. It was like there was a force field around him that I couldn't get through. (sic)"

Brooke Hogan 'didn't want to be in Hulk Hogan's will'

Brooke Hogan asked to be removed from her father's will in 2023. Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan died from cardiac arrest on July 24, aged 71, and Brooke, 37, reportedly made the will request two years ago because she "didn't want to get caught up in a financial battle when he passed", according to TMZ. Brooke is said to have wanted to protect her father from people she believed "were taking advantage of him" but after many years of disagreements, she contacted his financial manager and asked to be removed as a beneficiary. Brooke is reportedly set to receive a small sum from a life insurance trust and is planning to put the money towards her children's college funds. Meanwhile, following her father's death, Brooke took to social media to pay tribute and to reflect on their turbulent relationship. In a lengthy post on Instagram, Brooke explained: "When he left this earth, it felt like part of my spirit left with him. I felt it before the news even reached us. However, she does not have any regrets about how she dealt with the situation. She said: "I know in my heart I did everything I could. He knew I would run through a burning building for him. And in many ways, along the path of life, I did. He knows how deeply, how hard and how purely I loved him. I am at peace knowing this."
