The mental health advocate then weighed in on the state of the world, offering her fans a silver lining.
'The world is pretty crazy right now but there are still many beautiful, perfect things, moments, grabs of nature. Let's hold on to those.'
She finished off the post: 'Much love. Much friendship. Many thoughts. Always, Bridie.'
Bridie last appeared on McLeod's Daughters in 2009.
Looking back at her breakout role, she recalled a rare, behind-the-scenes detail from the infamous 'silo' scene on the hit series which put her in danger in real life.
Speaking to Woman's Day magazine, she recalled the iconic scene that aired in season three, where her character Tess jumped into a silo full of wheat to avoid Dave's marriage proposal.
Unfortunately, the more Tess struggled, the more she sank into the wheat, with Nick eventually coming to her rescue.
Bridie expressed pride in the series, revealing that the scene posed genuine danger on set.
'One of the performances that sticks out for me is the wheat silo scene. There was a trapdoor for me underneath, I could have really got stuck,' she said.
Bridie praised the cast and crew, adding they were at the top of their game.
'The stakes were so high and everyone just excelled in that moment. So it's scenes [like that] that make me go I'm lucky to be on that show.'
McLeod's Daughters, which followed the lives of five women running a cattle station in the outback, aired for eight seasons on Channel Nine between 2001 and 2009.
A few years ago, Channel Nine expressed interest in a reboot.

Kym Marsh, 49, seemingly hits back at resurfaced Hear'Say 'fat-shaming' clip as she flashes her abs in a black sports bra while posing for a sizzling mirror selfie

Kym Marsh has seemingly hit back at a viral 'fat-shaming' clip from her Hear'Say heyday as she flashed her abs in a mirror selfie on Instagram on Tuesday. In the resurfaced 2002 clip, the singer, 49, was seen being ordered to ' lose weight ' by judge Nigel Lythgoe - who earned the nickname 'Nasty Nigel' for his scathing behaviour on pioneering ITV talent show Popstars. Now, taking to social media, Kym showed off her sizzling figure as she posed for a new selfie. The star turned heads as she flaunted her toned physique in a black sports bra and leggings. 'Building a better me,' she penned on top of the snap. It comes after her former bandmate Myleene Klass, 47, took to Instagram to lash out at comments made by judge Nigel on the ITV show. In the resurfaced 2002 clip, the singer, 49, was seen being ordered to ' lose weight ' by judge Nigel Lythgoe - who earned the nickname 'Nasty Nigel' for his scathing behaviour on pioneering ITV talent show Popstars During their time on the show, Nigel criticised Kym's looks and instructed her to 'lose some weight' as he quizzed her over her diet and fitness during the formation of Hear'Say, their band which ran from 2001 to 2002. In the clip, Kym asked, 'Do you think I'm fat?', to which Nigel replied, 'I think you've put weight on over Christmas, are you exercising, is the diet right?' Kym replied: 'I've just started it today', prompting Nigel to add, 'You need to lose some weight you're going on show six weeks from now, six weeks.' Myleene has reshared the video to her Instagram Stories and said being fat-shamed was a 'daily' occurrence, while stylists would remove sizes from clothes to hide 'the shame' of having double-digit sizes. She wrote: 'Yes Daily. Stylist often cut the sizes out of some bands outfits to hide the 'shame' of 'double digits'. 'My Hear'say diaries are FULL of this s***. The boys were also shamed. Remember, TFI Friday had scales on set.' Kym has been open about her struggles with self-image in the past, saying she became bulimic after she started comparing herself to smaller girls while at stage school when she was younger. Nigel previously defended his comments about Kym on the show, saying: '[She's] looking fabulous now, acting brilliantly, and she's made a huge career for herself.' Hear'Say formed on ITV show Popstars in 2001 and found success with their number one hit Pure and Simple. Their first album Popstars, was a huge hit but their success quickly dwindled by the time they released their second album Everybody. They split up in October 2002, less than two years after being put together on Popstars and cited 'abuse from the public' at the time as the primary reason behind the breakup. Speaking last year, about what pressures she felt as a young person in the spotlight, Myleene told Loose Women viewers their management would 'control how much we were eating' as they were scared they would become 'fat'. She said: 'I mean the scrutiny for a start. My daughter is 17 and if I look at one of my band members Suzie she was 18, so that's one year away. 'I think if someone put my daughter through that level of scrutiny or pressure...' Although she admitted that things have got a lot better since then, Myleene went on to add: 'Some of the experiences that we went through we were in no way equipped for it. 'We were just five kids in a room at the end of the day - not unlike these five kids in a room and that's all you have.'

Aaron Chalmers' son may need wheelchair as ex cries over heartbreaking health condition

Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers' ex, Talia Oatway, has given a heartbreaking health update on their son, Oakley, three, who was born with Apert Syndrome Aaron Chalmers' ex, Talia Oatway, has revealed their little boy, Oakley, may need a wheelchair in heartbreaking news. Little Oakley, three, was born with Apert Syndrome, a genetic disorder, which causes the skull, hands and foot bones to fuse together. ‌ Sharing recent photos of her son, Talia, who split up from her Geordie Shore star ex shortly after Oakley was born, admitted she 'cries a lot' as she gave an emotional update on the tot's progress. ‌ It comes after singer, Jessie J, updated fans on her health after being rushed to hospital with an infection and fluid on her lungs, weeks after breast cancer surgery. ‌ Responding to a follower on Instagram, who told Talia how amazing it was to see Oakley taking his first steps in a video his proud mum had shared online, the model said he may end up depending on a wheelchair, explaining: "Ah thank you, he will only walk outside for a very very short time (like a few minutes) at home he walks more. "The bones on the bottom of his feet are becoming more prominent, which is where I need to keep an eye on. ‌ "A lot of Apert children require feet surgery and depend on wheelchairs at times. This is due to the bones on the bottom of their feet causing pain up to their backs." Later on in the Q&A, Talia was told how "amazing", but she replied: "Thank you, I honestly don't think I'm strong. I am very emotional at times. I cry a lot especially in situations where I can't get my point across or when I'm overwhelmed. "I have tried to hold my emotions in as much as I can especially when the kids are around." ‌ Aaron and Talia welcomed Oakley into the world in February 2022. The former couple also share Romeo, four, and Maddox, three. They got together in 2017 but split just months after Oakley's birth. Aaron, who found fame on MTV's Geordie Shore, made his debut with the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship in April. Speaking to the Mirror about how he struggled to cope after Oakley was born, he said: "Everything was going in the right direction, and then after my last fight in the November - a few days later my cousin died, who was literally my best mate, my brother. He passed away and I just went on a slippery slope. I started drinking f***ing really, really badly. Drinking badly. "And then leading into 2024, my son… As I was trying to get myself back on the straight and narrow, my son went into hospital. It was meant to be a routine head surgery, and he was in a coma and he was in Liverpool fighting for his life for eight weeks, and I just didn't deal with it."
