New Orleans Saints trade Khalen Saunders to the Jacksonville Jaguars
Saunders won two Lombardi Trophies during his time with the Kansas City Chiefs from 2019 to 2022.
The 29-year-old defensive tackle left Arrowhead Stadium for the Saints in 2023 and has been a key piece of their defense in recent seasons.
However, he will now link up with Liam Coen and the Jaguars ahead of the new NFL campaign.
Ironically, Saunders made his final appearance for the Saints in a preseason game against the Jaguars on Sunday.
Saunders is the brother of one of Taylor Swift 's backup dancers, Kameron Saunders, who was prominently featured on her record-breaking 'Eras Tour.'
He is expected to be the top reserve option for the Jaguars' starting defensive tackle Arik Armstead.
The terms of the trade have yet to be disclosed.
Saunders is poised to enter his seventh season in the NFL. He managed 43 total tackles last year, which included two sacks.
The highlight of his season, however, was an interception against the Chiefs.
Saunders denied Travis Kelce a touchdown when he picked off Patrick Mahomes' pass in the end zone before returning the ball nearly 40 yards.

Jets special teamer Kris Boyd (shoulder) on season-ending IR
August 18 - The New York Jets placed defensive back and key special teamer Kris Boyd on injured reserve Monday, ending his season. The 28-year-old was entering his first season with the Jets but during practice on Aug. 2 he suffered a shoulder injury, one serious enough that he was carted off the field. Boyd featured in all 17 regular-season games for the Houston Texans last year, but it was in the playoffs when he became widely known. On the opening kickoff of Houston's eventual loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round, Boyd forced a fumble, prematurely celebrated before the Chiefs recovered, was flagged for ripping off his helmet and then was seen shoving his special teams coach. In 81 NFL regular-season games (six starts) for the Minnesota Vikings (2019-22), Arizona Cardinals (2023) and Texans (2023-24), Boyd has amassed 105 tackles, two forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries. The Vikings had selected him in the seventh round of the 2019 draft out of Texas. --Field Level Media

Kansas City Chiefs player Felix Anudike-Uzomah to miss entire NFL season in devastating blow
The Kansas City Chiefs have placed Felix Anudike-Uzomah on injured reserve, meaning he will miss the entire NFL season. The defensive end, a former first-round draft pick, will be sidelined for the foreseeable future with a hamstring injury. He picked up the injury during Friday's preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks. It is a major blow to Patrick Mahomes and his teammates' hopes of regaining their Super Bowl crown after February's heavy loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans. Anudike-Uzomah has played in 34 games for the Chiefs, starting three times. He has made eight tackles for loss, three sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. More to follow.

Fans think they spotted huge clue to Taylor Swift's new era at Cardiff show
Fans think they spotted huge clue to Taylor Swift's new era at Cardiff show Fans believe that there were several hints dropped specifically around the Cardiff show during the Eras Tour which were never accidental Taylor Swift (Image: 2024 TASRM and Getty Images) If you've been anywhere near the internet recently, you might have seen that Taylor Swift's newly announced album has got more than just a few people talking. And Swifties are pointing to her Eras Tour stop in Cardiff as one of the clearest Easter eggs she left ahead of the news and if they're correct, the clues were hiding in plain sight. In her final Instagram post marking the end of the tour in December 2024, Taylor shared a playful photo of herself squeezed inside the "cleaning cart" which she used to secretly reach the stage each night. But many fans noticed that inside the cart sat a framed picture of Cardiff Bay. At first it seemed like an unusual detail, but once the new album announcement arrived, lots of people started talking about whether it was Taylor planting hints months in advance. As Mamamia pointed out, during her only Welsh date, Taylor debuted a bold orange-and-green combination - which appears to be the new theme for her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, for the 1989 portion of the show which was a look that hadn't been seen before on the tour. She doubled down on the colour choice by wearing an orange dress again for her 'surprise songs' set during the same show. For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter Capital FM has also reminded fans that the Cardiff concert was also her 103rd show of the tour which is a number that immediately triggered "10/3" theories about a possible connection with October 3. Article continues below They noted: "While we were all scrambling to find Rep (TV) easter eggs at the 100th and 113th shows on the European leg and waiting for the double green 1989 combo, it looks like we should have had an eye on the 103rd show!" While speculation initially swirled around other milestone performances like the 100th and 113th shows, the Welsh date now looks more significant in hindsight, especially given how prominently it featured in The Eras Tour Book. One photograph even shows Taylor riding inside the cart with the same image of Cardiff Bay taped to its side, reinforcing the impression that placing the picture there was an intentional move. BuzzFeed also highlighted how the Cardiff image became a talking point online with fans pointing out the coincidence between the unusual colour scheme and the photo hidden inside the cart. The platform wrote: 'In the photo, there was, strangely, a photo of Cardiff, Wales, and people couldn't figure out why exactly she chose not only to keep it in there, but to highlight it. 'Well, Taylor had a rotating arsenal of outfits on her tour (so many that it sparked a massive, fantasy football-style game amongst fans), and what colours did she wear in Cardiff? '"As Twitter user @ia1mostdo pointed out, it was none other than the orange and green 1989 set and the orange surprise song dress." Social media has also been full of speculation from Swifties who have been trying to pull all of the pieces together. Someone else added: 'When Cardiff didn't realise we were the ultimate Easter Egg.'
